Inom militär flygindustri är produktdatahantering i produktlivscykeln och utveckling av logistikstöd centrala områden för att hantera krav och kostnader. Senaste strategin för dessa utmaningar grundar sig i modellbaserat konstruktionsunderlag ? model-based definition (MBD). I detta perspektiv står disciplinen teknikinformation inför förändringsarbetet att utnyttja möjligheterna med MBD. Förbättringar i presentationsmetod för illustrationer och effektivare arbetsmetoder för produktion förväntas.Detta förändringsarbete undersöktes genom en fallstudie av Saabs konceptutveckling för teknikinformation till stridsflygplanet Gripen NG.

Bakgrunden till studien är de förändringar i form av minskade produktionsstopp som Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) infört från och med sommaren 2005. Detta har inneburit att vissa produktionsområden stänger ner sin tillverkning från fyra veckor till inga produktionsstopp under sommaren. Syftet med undersökningen har varit att undersöka hur arbetsfördelning, kommunikation och samordning har skett mellan nyckelaktörer på SMT inför rekryteringen av semesterersättare år 2007. Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ metod där vi genomfört åtta stycken halvstrukturerade intervjuer och granskat dokument, såsom processbeskrivning och rekryteringspolicy för semesterprocessen. Resultatet har visat på svårigheter i kommunikation och samverkan som vi främst tror har grundat sig i otydliga roller i arbetsfördelning inom processen, då kontaktmannen både har agerat som personalman och kontaktman till de berörda första linjens chefer vi har intervjuat..

The environment has become an important part in people´s lives, and in today´s society stakeholders demands have increased upon companies when it comes to sustainability reports. How these sustainability reports are designed depends on whom it?s for, laws and regulations, and the companies own norms and values. The purpose of sustainability reports is to measure, monitor and compare a company´s enviromental impact. It?s not only about integrating economics, but also enviromental and social standards together to get both financial and competitive advantages.Sustainable Value method is a new model and is the first real method that can be used to evaluate a company´s resources, both financial, social and enviromental to a sustainable value.This model is used to compare the resource efficiency between companies.In this thesis, a documentary study with an experimental approach has been made.Sustainability reports from six selected companies (in the engineering and forestry sector) have been investigated with respect to their accounting for carbon dioxide, and an experiment using the method ?Sustainable Value Approach? was subsequently performed.

Therefore focus should now lie on how IT is adjusted to the business rather than on the usage of IT. To make the best use of IT in the business the CIO needs to start think more business-oriented instead of as before, technology-oriented. To develop the IT-department in that direction the IT-staff need to start cooperate with the business and gain knowledge about stakeholders, markets and the way of working for other staff members in the business.With this as a basis, the purpose of this thesis is to investigate attitudes regarding cooperation between the IT-department and the business and if there is any difference if the CIO has business related background or not.To fulfil the purpose a quantitative investigation with the help of surveys was conducted. The sample consisted of 18 companies with 100-200 employees in the area of Jönköping.

This bachelor thesis is intended to point out differences within the supervisors? role and contribute in making the role more attractive. At present the information about how the supervisors? perspective varies on the supervisors? role and the introduction to it depending on work experience and education is unknown. Further it was investigated why the supervisors? role is seen as an entrance to the building industry and how to develop the role to encourage the supervisors to stay longer within it.In the collection of data we have been interviewing supervisors and studying literature.

The tablet is a new IT-tool which have started to get introduced into school, but research is still missing and especially in the pre-school environment. The purpose with this study is to investigate teachers uptake, how they use the tablet in everyday pedagogy work as well as the organizational conditions that that facilitate and hinders. Through my observations and interviews in a Swedish K-5 school I have found that the teachers find tablets more appealing to use in comparison to computers. These findings are partly supported by Davis et al.?s (1989) TAM-theory who considers there to be three types of aspects that affect the way individuals adapt to technology.

Lower energy use in buildings is a result of increasingly stringent energy requirements across Europe. When conventional district heating technology is used in areas with low energy consumption heatlosses do not fall even though the amount of energy delivered is reduced. Navigating to different locations isn?t always easy. Imagine then how it is for people with a visual impairment to walk across the street or to get from one point to another. The Swedish Association of the Visually Impaired (SRF) has pointed out that today's society is not sufficiently accessible to people with visual impairment and there are improvements that need to get done. Technology is something that has evolved a lot this last decade and occurs today almost everywhere in our environment.In some areas, technology has facilitated people's daily life very much and we have therefore chosen to examine whether a combination of several technical functions integrated into the fictive artifact called Eyenavster can facilitate outdoor orientation and increase the accessibility for people with a visual impairment.Qualitative data collection methods have been used in this study by six interviews to answer our question.

New technology can have a major influence in the production development, if the company choose to take benefit of the advantages, by optimal allocation of the internal resources the productivity and efficiency will increase, to accomplish a competitive advantage. One way to achieve this is by investing in a Unit Production System.In our thesis we have questioned what the main driving forces for an apparel manufacturing company is when it chooses to invest in new technology.

För en tid sedan så bestämde sig SCA Cellplast, som producerar cellplasthuvudsakligen till förpackningar, för att lägga ner en av sina tre fabriker i Sverige.Syftet med detta var att man skulle få bättre kostnadseffektivitet i sin produktion.Som en konsekvens av detta så flyttades ett antal maskiner ner till SCA Cellplastsfabrik i Värnamo, en fabrik som till följd av detta blev väldigt trång och fick enförsämrad leveransprecision. Man kontaktade med anledning av problemen somuppstod institutionen för förpackningslogistik vid LTH med ett förslag på ettexamensarbete för att utreda dessa.Efter att ha besökt fabriken i Värnamo och pratat med SCA Cellplasts VD MagnusCarlsson och vår handledare Ola Johansson på institutionen för förpackningslogistikvid LTH så bestämde vi oss för att genomföra en simuleringsstudie av produktionenför att kunna öka produktionsvolymen med ca femton procent.Studiens fokus ligger på att identifiera flaskhalsar i produktionen och att undersökahur dessa kan elimineras och huruvida maskinkapaciteten kan medge den efterfrågadeökningen i produktionsvolym. Förutom detta så har vi undersökt vad som händer dåman minskar ställtiderna som i dagsläget både är stora och varierar kraftigt. Om manminskar dessa och dess varians så kan man öka flexibiliteten i produktionen avsevärtoch kan arbeta mera enligt den japanska produktionsfilosofin.Våra resultat tyder på att man mycket väl med bibehållen maskinpark kan uppnå enfemtonprocentig ökning av produktionsvolymen. Men det krävs en del åtgärder frånSCA's sida.

Current technology offers many possibilities for remotecommunication. Nevertheless, people with cognitive and communicativedisabilities have limited access to common communication technology like textmessaging via a mobile phone. This study is part of the project Text messagingwith picture symbols - a possibility for AAC users and people with cognitiveimpairments. Semi structured interviews were used to investigate three menand four women?s experiences of using Windows mobiles with adaptedfunctions for text messaging.

Problemformulering Pharmadule-Emtunga behöver upprätta en processkartläggning med tydliga gränsdragningar och fördelningar av olika ansvarsområden då det råder en avsaknad av en sådan kartläggning. Det centrala problemet för detta projekt är att processkartlägga Pharmadule-Emtungas produktion.Syfte Detta arbete syftar till att processkartlägga produktionen som ett led i företagets ISO 9001:2000 certifieringsarbete. Arbetet skall utgöra en bas för företaget så att de enklare skall kunna identifiera problem och trånga sektorer i produktionen.Metod Då denna processkartläggning är en studie av hela Pharmadule-Emtungas produktionsavdelning medför detta att systemteoretisk vetenskapsteori tillämpas. Fokus lades på en kvalitativ problemlösningsmetod med vissa inslag av kvantitativ metodik, då resultatet skall förklara och beskriva hur hela produktionssystemet är strukturerat. Denna rapport tar avstamp i induktionen.
