Lärares syn på teknikämnet. : En enkätstudie av pedagogers tankar kring teknik på mellanstadiet
Syftet med denna studie är att få en inblick i hur lärare på mellanstadiet arbetar med teknikämnet i skolan. Detta görs genom en enkät, vars frågor är upplagda efter tre frågeställningar: Vilka tankar har lärarna om teknik? Hur ser pedagogernas teknikundervisning ut? Vilket undervisningsmaterial använder lärarna sig av i teknikämnet? Totalt är det 65 lärare som arbetar eller har arbetat med teknik på mellanstadiet som deltagit i studien. Enkäten har visat på att de flesta lärarna som deltagit tycker att teknikämnet är ett roligt, spännande och intressant ämne som dock är svår bedömt, tids- och materialkrävande. Undersökningen visar även att de flesta lärarna tycker det är bäst att arbeta med teori och praktik varvat, då båda delarna behövs för att eleverna skall förstå teknikens innebörd i samhället.

Since the bandwidth is limited it is important to try to use it to the fullest. CDMA is a technology that allows multiple accesses on the same frequency and time thus making it very bandwidth efficient. The CDMA technology was first introduced in the second generation?s cellular systems but has since then been improved and is reused in today?s 3G systems as Wideband CDMA.

The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

This essay seeks to analyze the consequences of modern information and communication technology for collective action within the framework of social movements. With references to the protests in Seattle 1999, the essay argues that the emergence of distributed collective action is closely related to the use of technology, for example cell phones and Internet. This distributed collective action can be characterized by its decentralized and self-organizing features, forming a global pattern emerging from local interactions. Whereas contemporary theories of collective action can be ´stretched´ to fit these aspects, they lack analytical tools to describe and analyze such systems. Further, their rejection of classical crowd theory is problematic, since it contains valuable insights.

This thesis engages the topic of test methods for wood adhesives. Two test methods were evaluated, EN 302-1, a European standard, and ASTM D905, an American standard. The total amount of specimens manufactured and tested was more than 500. The adhesive bonds were tested in shear with an increasing load on the specimen until failure.The adhesives used were epoxy-resin, phenol-resorcinol-formaldehyde and a 2-K polyurethane. The test programme included five different types of intentional errors per method, in order to investigate the sensitivity of the test methods.

This thesis investigates if a system for small scale electricity production located in anurban environment can be profitable. The work has been divided up into two parts,one extensive literature study and one case study. The purpose of the literature studywas to investigate the area, resulting in a choice of which technology to be studied indepth in a case study.In the case study a system containing small scale wind turbines and photovoltaicsmounted on Gränby Centrums roof was examined. From data containing wind power,wind direction and total irradiation, possible production from a system weresimulated. Three products of each technology were examined in the simulations.From the simulated production an economic analysis was carried out, this toinvestigate if a system is profitable.

"Intelligent Houses", and most important- explore some of the future
possibilities in this area.
The project has been carried out through an interdisciplinary cooperation
between three different educations at the Blekinge Institute of Technology.
By conducting a dialogue with various actors with different professions, we
have been trying to identify needs within the concept of "Intelligent Houses",
were the end user is not only the tenant or homeowner.
Through Participatory Design methods, such as a Future Workshop, we have
brought the users together to discuss their own and each others needs and
hindrances in their respective work practice, and how intelligent house
technology could improve their work conditions.
We have also been testing a highly sophisticated
CO/CO2/Moisture/Temperature/Enthalpy multi-sensor & controller, originally
developed for regulating indoor climate systems.
Based on the needs we have found in our fieldwork, we have been looking at
possibilities to make multi user solutions with the sensor..

As artificial intelligence (AI) has gained more influence in recruitment, both recruitment processes and the role of the recruiter are changing. This study aims to describe and analyze how recruiters translate, use, and relate to AI in their work. Through a qualitative method based on semi-structured interviews and document analysis, the study explores recruiters? experiences, attitudes, as well as perceived obstacles and opportunities regarding the use of AI in recruitment. With a theoretical foundation in translation theory, fashion, and imitation, the study examines how AI is not only followed as a trend, but also shaped and adapted locally through translation, depending on organizational identity and needs.

Through this, we wanted to identify the critical success factors in how a newly developed service should be designed to create value. This has been done through a thorough literature review, together with an indepth evaluation of existing applications.

Sandvik AB är en högteknologisk verkstadskoncern som omfattar affärsområdena Tooling, Mining and Construction och Materials Technology (SMT). Sandvik Materials Technology är världsledande inom rostfria och höglegerade stål, specialmetaller, motståndsmaterial samt processystem. Inom SMT drivs ett inköps- och råvaruoptimeringsprojekt (IRO) som har målet att minska lagernivåerna av köpskrot och legeringar i råvarulagret på skrotgården. Kapitalbindningen anses i dagsläget vara för hög. Därför är det viktigt att ta reda på hur det interna flödet av returstål ser ut, för att på det sättet kunna förbättra lagerstyrningen.

This paper is partially a literature study of human error and interruptions and partially an investigation of pilots and Air Traffic Control. The aim of the investigation was to find out where interruptions occur and how to reduce or eliminate them. The objective of this paper was to investigate what type of interruptions pilots and ATC deals with and during which phases they occur. The paper has revealed that private pilots causes more interruptions for ATC personnel than commercial pilots. The cause for this is probably the less experienced private pilot and the fact that Swedish is used before English by private pilots in communication with ATC.

The threats could consist of small arms, machineguns,RPG 7, anti armour missiles, mortar, artillery, HPM-weapons, car bombs, biological and chemicalweapons as well as sabotage and theft. It?s not the technology itself that makes the threat scenariocomplex it?s the way the opponent acts during the operations. The opponent acts usually incivilian clothes and therefore he is difficult to distinguish from other civilians.
