The purpose of this thesis is to identify the factors that drive efficiency and effectiveness in technical development projects performed at A?F?s department of product development. In addition to identifying and analyzing these factors, the thesis also analyzes what needs to be taken in to account in order to implement a measurement system that is able to both monitor and control the identified factors.The thesis has been performed in a qualitative manner. Research shows that there is a lack of knowledge of adult students with ADHD. Most of all research focuses on children with ADHD in school. The purpose of this study was to gain a better understanding of how adult learners with ADHD experience academic studies related to cognitive difficulties, emotion, motivation, and their experience of SOC. The questions tried to determine how any cognitive difficulties and emotions are perceived, how students' motivation to study impacted and their experience of SOC based on studies in higher education. To answer the purpose and questions used qualitative interviews based on three students with ADHD using a hermeneutic method.

Den har beskrivits som en manlig motsvarighet till Sex and the city.Syfte: Mitt syfte med denna studie är att studera hur representationen av maskulinitet ser ut i denna specifika TV-serie, samt uttala mig om vad detta säger om den förändrade bilden av maskulinitet i vår tid.Metod: Jag har gjort en kvalitativ textanalys av Entourage med grunder i hermeneutiken och har studerat såväl innehållsmässiga teman i serien som genrekonventioner och tilltal. Jag har som jämförelse när jag ansett det givande även reflekterat kring TV-serien Sex and the city.Slutsatser:1.

Because of technology, the accessibility to games has never been greater. Using smartphones, tablets and online casinos makes it possible to play virtually any time of day no matter where you are. This development has caused that more people, got stuck in a gambling addiction which have become an increasing problem in the last decade.

Den övergripande frågeställningen för uppsatsen är: Vad innebär det ur ett demokratiperspektiv när en abonnerad morgontidning väljer att ge ut en gratistidning för att nå lågresursgrupperna i samhället??. Bakgrunden till frågan är att Helsingborgs dagblad valt att ge ut gratistidningen Xtra Helsingborg för att nå ut i de områden där tidningen har få läsare. Gemensamt för dessa stadsdelar är att de tillhör de fattigaste i Helsingborg och att en större andel av invånarna har utländsk bakgrund än i övriga Helsingborg.Genom att göra en innehållsanalys av Helsingborgs Dagblad och gratistidningen Xtra har jag undersökt vilka innehållsmässiga skillnader det finns mellan tidningarna. Jag har också intervjuat Helsingborgs Dagblads VD Lars Svensson, Xtras chefredaktör Kersti Forsberg och nyhetschefen på HD City Anders Håkansson för att ta reda på vilka tankar man har om skillnader i målgrupp och konkurrensen mellan tidningarna.Innehållsmässigt har Xtra ett större fokus på Nöje, Sport och Opinionsmaterial än HD och bristen på lokal samhällsinformation i Xtra kan skapa stora kunskapsklyftor mellan dem som läser HD och dem som läser Xtra.

The aims of the present study were to implement and evaluate a three-session Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) stress management intervention in a non-clinical group of university students (N = 25) and to investigate the importance of practice in an ACT-intervention. A design with pre-test and double post-test was chosen. A comparison was made between a nine-hour ACT-intervention containing practice for the participants, a two-hour lecture on ACT and stress management containing no practice for the participants and a control group. Psychological flexibility was assessed with Acceptance and Action Questionnaire-2 and mindfulness was measured with Kentucky Inventory of Mindfulness Skills. Perceived stress level was measured with Perceived Stress Scale.

Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to study the importance of having a website for traditional service companies as well as the factors that might influence its importance. This is done by answering three research questions that all contribute to the answer of the main purpose. A qualitative study has been performed including eight interviews with respondents from eight different service companies presenting four different types of businesses. The empirical findings of the study are analyzed with the help of the theoretical frame of references in order to identify the most interesting conclusions. The results of the thesis state that the main purpose of the website among the studied companies is to rationalize and save costs.

Our curiosity was awakened when we became aware that many social workers use "mindfulness" methods in their profession. In this study, we used qualitative methodology in our desire to examine and understand why the mindfulness approach, with its roots in eastern philosophy, is becoming established in society at large and, simultaneously, being used in the social work field. We were interested in when and why social workers choose to use mindfulness with their clients. Our prior research has revolved around development and use of methods in social work, and on the human reaction to stress.We conducted seven semi-structured interviews, which incorporated four comprehensive questions:1. Why has the mindfulness method become established in the social work field and in the culture in general?2.

The aim of this master's thesis is to study how gender equity is discussed and worked with at a Swedish public library, and what potential consequences these discussions will bring. By analysing different types of documents and interviews with library staff using discourse psychological theories and methods we show that two dominating discourses coexist and determine the direction of how gender equity is discussed. These discourses are argued to create and uphold gender and gender roles within the organisation as well as in society at large.In our study we find that one of the identified discourses has, as one of its consequences, that it preserves and regenerates traditional gender roles. This discourse is mainly used when discussing personnel policies and when recruiting. We call this the discourse of gender role preservation.The second discourse is mainly seen when discussing the public dimension of the library's functions.

The natural sciences and the humanities are associated with differentpublishing patterns. Open Access publishing are mainly associated withthe publishing patterns of the natural sciences. Many Swedishuniversities and research funders are proponents of Open Accesspublishing, what will that trend mean to the scholars with a publishingpattern not corresponding to Open Access? In this paper literary scholarsare interviewed for the purpose of learning the motives and strategieswhich form their publishing pattern, and how they relate to Open Accesspublishing. The results show that literary scholars are less competitiveand hold a more gentle knowledge-sharing ideal, than natural scientists.The drive to gain acknowledgment and the recognition of colleagues inorder to collect academic capital as Bourdieu describes the academicfield is still present though.
