Bachelor thesis, Trolley Innovation Project, has been unique in the sense that it has been carried out over the borders of Sweden. Iacobucci S.p.A, located outside of Rome in Italy is one of the largest manufacturers of interior equipment for aircraft in the world. With approximately 30% of the market Iacobucci S.p.A is one of the world's largest manufacturers of catering trolleys.The aim has been to produce a new competitive catering trolley for the airline industry. With customers and users in focus, the project team found that weight, ease of use, ergonomics and design were important aspects. Having a low weight of all the interior is particularly important when there is lots of money for the airlines to save in reduced fuel costs.

Betting under ordered forms has been around for a long time, but the recent increase in Internet betting and the large sums of money that are now involved makes it even more important for betting companies to have correct odds. The purpose of the essay is to calculate probabilities for outcomes of football games using a statistical model and to see if you can find better odds than a betting company.The data contains the 380 games from the 2004/2005 season and the variables form, head-to-heads, league position, points, home/away, average attendance, promoted team, distance and final league position from previous season. After performing an ordered probit regression we only find the variable ?form of the away team? to be significant at the 5 % level. We suspect the presence of multicollinearity and perform a VIF-test which confirms this. To fix this problem we perform a second ordered probit regression where a number of variables are combined to index variables. In the second regression we once again find only one significant variable.

The purpose of this master thesis is to map and analyze the appropriate valuation approaches used for Intellectual Property rights and develope a model for valuing patents. This project has been executed on behalf of Electrolux?s Group Intellectual Property and is intended to be used for managerial purposes.Project limitations include patents that doesent concern technology oriented products and services, real option methods, financial forecasts, decisions concerning patents taken by the R&D division, patent applications in general and taking into account unexpected future management decisions regarding patents.Electrolux?s Intellextual Property team applies, manages and protects the groups Intellectual Property rights including patents, designs and trademarks. With an increased globalization and the rise of emerging markets, incentives have increased further to protect and safeguard the group?s innovations.Mainly there are three different valuations approaches for valuing intellectual property rights, these include the income based approach, cost base approach and market based approach.

Syftet i denna uppsats är att genomföra en diskursanalys av tidskriften Vi i villa, detta för att kunna besvara hur diskursen uttrycker relationen mellan boendeformen hus, religion och ett framväxande modernt samhälle. Utgångspunkten i arbetet är att religion uppstår ur sociala processer, samt att individens föreställningar om det ideala livet har en normativ funktion. Diskursanalysen resultat analyseras utifrån det moderna, eller postmoderna samhällets framväxande, teori om sekularisering, individualisering och nyandlighet presenteras i litteraturstudien. De första uttrycken för nyandlighet framkommer i materialet 1991, och 2010 framställs boendeformen hus alltmer som en individualiserad föreställning om ett idealt liv, samhällets förändring de sista fyrtio åren har tydligt påverkat sambanden mellan religion och hus..

Föreliggande studie undersöker de fem förbundskaptener som verkar i flick- (F16, F17 och F19), ungdoms- (U23) och damlandslaget i fotboll. Syftet med undersökningen är att skaffa sig kunskap om deras uppfattning om coaching och ledarskap samt undersöka hur förbundskaptenerna coachar och leder under landslagssamlingarna. Metoderna är intervjuer samt observationer vid matcher och träningar hos samtliga aktuella landslag. Undersökningen har tagit del av Svenska fotbollförbundets tre styrdokument för utbildning av flick-, ungdoms-, och damspelare på landslagsnivå, Spelarutbildningsplan från F15 till A-landslag (2010), Arbetssätt och roller, från F15-U20 (2013) samt Spelarutbildningsplan 2013.Förbundskaptenerna anger att de är formade av sina första år inom idrotten. De har samtliga en lång fotbollskarriär som spelare och tränare.Ledarskapet utgår från spelarnas delaktighet och inflytande. Delaktighet, nyfikenhet och aktivitet är nyckelord för spelarna.

  Aim. The aim of the study was to describe how nurses in home care experience to pursue palliative care in ordinary housing. Methods. The study had a descriptive design with qualitative approach and was carried out through semi-structured interviews with 14 nurses in home health care from two medium-sized Swedish municipalities. The material was analyzed with manifest and latent content analysis. Findings. The underlying theme that emerged in the study was: Working with palliative care in the patient´s own homes is positive but challenging. Informants describe among other things that they perceived palliative home care as meaningful and that relatives have a central role in the palliative home care since they are close to the patient around the clock. The stress that emerges from the heavy work load and the long geographic distances are described as strenuous and to affect the care in a negative way. Informants describe the home environment as challenging as it is often not adapted for care and the collaboration with the palliative team is described to be experienced as both positive and negative.

Leaders agree that every kind of leadership is more or less successful depending on the situation and different organizational factors, for example the co-workers and the environment. Every leader should have a strong willpower and driving force to bring motivation to the organization and to make it more efficient. Another quality that represents a modern leader is the ability to lead and divide the co-workers and the organizations different strengths. The organizational communication is an important factor of how you, as a leader, answer to your co-workers and also how you will be received.

The aim of this study is to examine which factors in a traffic wardens? situation at work that promote and which that inhibit satisfaction at work. The aim of this study is also to examine if there are any differences in the work experiences for traffic wardens that work alone versus those who work in a team of two. The following questions are examined in the study:?Which factors promote and which factors inhibit the work situation for traffic wardens??Are there any differences between traffic wardens that work alone and those who work with another colleague?The selection consisted of eight traffic wardens, of which four of them work with another colleague while the other four work by themselves.

Previous research has shown that internal communication can be linked with how motivated a project team is, but research that shows examples of how this works is missing. This paper therefore aims to study how two different IT projects are working with internal communication. By analyzing its strengths and weaknesses, we wanted to study how these could be linked to the project team's motivation. In doing so, we wanted to be able to give examples of how projects could work with internal communication to motivate their project teams. Essay questions of the study are:? How does the internal communication occur in the projects?? Which strengths and weaknesses are to be found in the internal communication?? How does the internal communication influence the project members' motivation? To fulfill the purpose of the study it was needed informants interviews with the project manager for each project to access the facts, and respondent interviews with the project members from each project for accessing opinions.The results from the interviews show that both projects have effective communication, even if it looked different, and doesn't quite agree with what previous research recommends.

Medan servervirtualisering växt väldigt mycket det senaste decenniet har Apple nyligen börjat tillåta virtualisering av deras operativsystem Mac OS X. På grund av Apples stora framgångar med att lyckas sälja sina produkter till hemanvändare har nu även Mac-datorer börjat hitta till arbetsplatsen. Detta gör att det kommer finnas ett behov av att virtualisera Mac OS X i företagsmiljöer i framtiden då servervirtualisering är väldigt kostnadseffektivt. För att kunna virtualisera krävs en så kallad hypervisor. Det finns två olika typer, typ 1 och typ 2.

Background: Surgical complications has been the main cause of medical injuries and deaths worldwide. In 2008 WHO developed the checklist for safe surgery to reduce the number of surgical complications. The objective of the checklist is to strengthen already established safety routines and contribute to better cooperation and communication. Research shows that compliance to the checklist is deficient, which can affect patient safety.Aim: The aim was to study the extent to which theatre nurses participate in the use of the checklist.Method: Observational study was conducted with a descriptive design and quantitative approach. 24 observations were carried out with aid of an observation protocol of two surgical units at a hospital in central Sweden.Result: The results showed that Timeout initiated widely but compliance to all items was considerably lower.

Swedish clubfootball of today involves more money than ever before. This developmentdepends on the higher interest for football in Sweden which generates more revenues fromaudience and TV-contracts, which leads to more money from sponsors and an increasingmarket for selling souvenirs. Despite the fact that the increasing interest has generated morerevenues, we can still see reports in the media about economic problems in some clubs. Whatis the reason for this? Do the clubs have the ability and knowledge about economic controlthat it takes to run such a business as the clubfootball in Sweden has become?Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the economic control in a number of clubsplaying in the two Premier Divisons of the Swedish Football League.

This master thesis is written at the Royal Institute of Technology during the spring and summer of 2008.The assignment was to investigate what factors on a broadband market determine how well it performsin terms of how many people have access to broadband. These are the factors that determine whetheror not a country or market will be able to achieve a high broadband penetration. The purpose of thisthesis was to establish a better understanding for what a market should look like or how a strugglingone can be complemented in order to succeed.As a foundation for this investigation, a group of benchmark countries were chosen and evaluated. Inaddition to this, a group of, developing MENA2-countries were chosen and evaluated. Finally, interviewswere performed with some of Sweden?s leading internet service providers, the regulatory agency andinfrastructure company, Skanova.Among the benchmark countries were Sweden, France, Canada, South Korea and Japan.

Mitt syfte med detta examensarbete var att ta reda på vilka pedagogiska krav som ställs i och med den under året 2010 reviderade läroplanen för förskolan. Jag ville också ge en historisk tillbakablick på förskolans föregående styrdokument. Min huvudsakliga metod för att genomföra detta arbete har varit att genom textanalys jämföra den gällande läroplanen för förskolan, Lpfö 98, med den reviderade upplagan av Lpfö 98 (Lpfö 98 reviderad 2010). Jag har fokuserat på de förändringar i den reviderade läroplanen som förväntas ge pedagogiska konsekvenser, samt berör förskollärares uttryckliga ansvar. Min undersökning visade att de pedagogiska målen i förskolan var mer detaljerade och delvis omformulerade i den reviderade läroplanen.
