Förstå musikens tecken : Multimodala, semiotiska resurser i musikteori

This study is made in order to see how music teachers pedagogic design their Teaching from a semiotic design theoretical perspective. A survey was done in a study to see how the music college students experienced their music theory Teaching. This was followed by an observation of two different music theory teachers Teaching music theory and with subsequent interviews. One teacher taught music theory at a swedish non-compulsory School of Arts, Kulturskola, and the other music teacher taught at an independent adult education college. The study's questionnaire, observation and interview revealed patterns of Teaching, probably largely due to the Teaching tradition.

Det lärande mötet : En studie om lärares didaktiska medvetenhet i undervisningssituationer

The authors were curious and asked themselves if teachers are aware of the base of their Teaching in various Teaching situations. Are teachers at all capable of expressing that in words? One of the reasons that the authors chose the particular issue was because they think teachers have the task to satisfy the needs of all students and therefore they found it interesting to study how various teachers act. The purpose of the study is to observe teachers didactical awareness, and how it can be added to their intentions and actions, as in how they speak about their Teaching and how they act in various Teaching situations. Methods used in the study were observations and qualitative interviews.

Little research has been done within the field of the use of textbooks and Teaching aids in Spanish asa foreign language (SFL) Teaching in Sweden. This study attempts to find answers to how teachersand teacher students use, view and choose SFL Teaching aids. To accomplish this, qualitativeinterviews were carried out with Spanish teachers and Spanish teacher students in a city in northernSweden. A survey was also sent to all current SFL teachers in the central coastal region of Norrland.The study indicates that SFL textbooks are of great importance to the participating teachers andteacher students. Furthermore, a wish to enhance the level of interest of Spanish and Spanish/LatinAmerican culture, provide a varied Teaching experience and improve their students? self-esteem arefactors influencing teachers in their use and choices of Teaching aids..

Grammar teaching - to be or not to be, that is the question : En kvalitativ studie om grammatikundervisningens plats i språkundervisning i grundskolans tidigare år

???This research traces the trajectory of those methods of Teaching grammar that five different teachers in Swedish from Stockholm municipality use in their practice. ?Their both constructive and negative attitudes towards grammar were in fokus when looking after the connection between their own experience of learning/Teaching native language grammar and the methods that they are actually using in their own classes. I was trying to gain knowledge and achieve the purpose of this research by means of a qualitativ method.

Inkludering av elever i behov av särskilt stöd i helklassundervisning i svenska

Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers in regular classrooms include pupils with special educational needs. I also wanted to find out what support teachers get of special education teachers, and the Teaching perspective the teachers have when they work whit pupils. The teachers that have been interviewed and observed in this study work in regular classes. This report is a qualitative study based on interviews and observations whit four teachers. The results indicate that the teachers are conscious of how they teach and their Teaching strategies. The teachers agree that all students should be included in regular education, because learning occurs in the interaction between individuals.

Språkinlärning-medvetenhet och reflektion. : En komparativ textanalys av fyra lärarhandledningar i spanska för grundskolan.

This study is about language learning and language development. The purpose of the survey is to investigate how current learning theory and language research reflect on Teaching instructions for the Teaching material in spanish, with focus on the student´s awareness and reflection.The survey is based on a comparative textanalysis of four Teaching instructions for the seventh year in the nineyear compulsory school.The result show great variations between the Teaching instructions, regarding execercises as well as instructions. A theoretical approach and an explicit connection to research is something that is constantly missing in the instructions to the teachers..

IKT som pedagogiskt verktyg : - en studie om lärares användning av IKT i undervisningen

 The purpose of this study is to investigate the attitude to and experience of information and communication technology (ICT) in teachers Teaching and what motivates them. The study is qualitative and its research material is based on interviews. There are eight interviews and they where carried out at one school with a stated IT profile and at another school without a stated IT profile. The two schools are located in different municipalities, but both are secondary schools. The result shows that there are differences in attitude between the two schools. The school with a stated IT profile seems to have a more open mind of using ICT when Teaching, but both schools sees the lack of availability as one of the main hindrance for using it. None of the participating teachers saw themselves as controlled to use ICT in their Teaching.

The textbook is one of the instruments that teachers and students have available in their Teaching. For many years has textbook regarded as being too controlling and as a barrier to students development in mathematics. Textbooks primary mission is to promote learning. My study aims to provide an overview of how effective teachers use the textbook in mathematics education as well as the pros and cons they see with their work. The purpose of this study is to investigate how teachers work with basic mathematics combined with aesthestic learning processes such as arts and music in grades F-1. The essay will compare teachers? perceptions regarding aestethic learning processes when using art and music are used in the Teaching of mathematics. We have used the following questions:Do teachers use aesthetic learning processes in the forms of arts and music in the basic Teaching of mathematics and if so, how and in what way?What importance has aesthetic learning processes in the forms of arts and music in basic Teaching of mathematics according to the teachers?What advantages and disadvantages do the teachers find with combinding the basic mathematics with arts and music?The study is based on a qualitative method with five interviews and eight observations.

Lärande - styrt eller i samspel? : En studie om lärares syn på undervisning och lärande

This study?s purpose was to examine which main forms of Teaching methods that occurs in the Swedish nine-year compulsory school and how often learning through social collaboration take place. The study contained literature and interviews with eight teachers. Our research-questions were: What is the teacher?s opinion about different Teaching methods, their opinion about learning and Teaching and if there were any difference between the teachers Teaching younger or older students regarding Teaching methods? Our conclusions of this study were that ?lecture-methods? is the most common among teachers.

Individualisering i undervisningen : Fyra lärares uppfattning om och arbete med individualisering

The purpose of this study is to increase the knowledge of individualism also how individualism is applied in a teacher?s classroom. Based on the curriculum, Teaching is tailored to each and every student?s expectations and needs.  My research has been qualitative and includes four interviews with practicing teachers in two multi-cultural schools in the city of Stockholm. I have investigated how these four teachers perceive individualism, also how they individualize when Teaching to meet all students' expectations and needs according to them.

AbstractThe purpose with this essay is to present a picture of the changes in religious education in Sweden, and to make comparisons between Denmark?s and the USA?s model about Teaching in religion. The purpose of this study is to chart and describe which content and different models that teachers use when Teaching English as a foreign language at upper secondary school in Sweden. The study was performed through a phenomenonographic point of view, where the aim is to present and compare different understandings within a certain area. Our study emanates in Lars-Göran Malmberg?s theories about different Teaching models used when Teaching Swedish, which have been transferred and modified by Bo Lundahl into Teaching English as foreign language. On the basis of this theory, six individual interviews with different teachers at upper secondary school were carried out with concern of discussing the content and aim of English Teaching.

Undervisning för elever med särskilda matematiska förmågor : En studie om hur lärares undervisning i grundskolans tidigare år bedrivs och anpassas till elever med särskilda matematiska förmågor.

The purpose of this study is to see how some teachers in primary school creates and adapts their mathematics Teaching for students with special mathematical abilities. It also aims to identify opportunities and challenges that teachers see in creating a Teaching adapted to these students.In this study, qualitative interviews has been done to collect data. The interviews were conducted with five teachers who all are active in the primary school.The study results show that there is great variation in how the interviewed teachers create their mathematics Teaching for students with special mathematical abilities. The use of mathematics book proved to be significant for how this adaptation took place. The result also shows that the teachers? explanations for the choice of the adaptations that they make in Teaching vary.

Lärares förhållningssätt till demokratisk undervisning och sin egen maktposition i undervisningsarbetet

The aim of this paper is to examine how teachers experience their possibilities to develop democratic Teaching in high school and how they reflect upon their position of power within the Teaching situation. Four professional high school teachers have been interviewed for the study. The theoretical perspective of the study is an intersectional view on power and a view on democratic Teaching which is partly built on the high school curriculum, but mainly defined by deliberative conversations, anti-oppressive education and norm-critical education. The result of the study is focused on three themes, which were shown in the analysis of the interviews. These themes are: choices of Teaching content,  authority of the teacher and democratic Teaching.
