During the recent years the interest in entrepreneurial education has increased both in terms of research being made in the subject, but also in the extent of entrepreneurial courses in Swedish secondary schools, where as the concept Junior Achievement (JA) is particularly being used. A common goal of the entrepreneurial education is apart from teaching the students how to start and run a business, to develop the students? entrepreneurial skills and competences. The main purpose of the essay is to describe and illustrate the role of the teacher in the entrepreneurial pedagogy being used in courses with the JA concept and to investigate which entrepreneurial skills are being developed by the students participating in these courses. There is also the purpose of investigate what the characteristics are of this entrepreneurial pedagogy being used in the courses using the JA concept.

In musikklasser (a special musical training which focus on choral singing is offered in the Swedish compulsory school from the age of ten until the age of sixteen) teachers are working in a tradition where conventions relating to singing with children have developed in accordance with the Swedish choral tradition. In these classes, students are trained in large groups, usually around 30 students in one class. Furthermore, one teacher and 60 students is also frequent in schools with two or more parallell grades. In a large choir group, students develop their skill in choral singing, which includes the development of general musical knowledge as well as the development of the individual singing voice of each student in order for the choir to be able to interpret and perform music with a communal musical expression. Thus, the complexity in this teaching and learning setting places high demands on the choir teachers? ability to use appropriate teaching and learning strategies in order to develop the specific musical skill required in a choir.In this study, two choral teachers´ interaction with their choir class were investigated.

Detta examensarbete handlar om hur datatrafik över en satellitlänk kan optimeras för att minska laddningstider och överförd datamängd. Syftet med studien är att undersöka i vilken omfattning datatrafik mellan fartyg och land via satellitlänk kan styras så att trafiken blir effektivare. Genom att använda DNS-mellanlagring, mellanlagring av webbsidor samt annonsblockering med pfSense som plattform har examensarbetet utfört experiment emot olika hemsidor och mätt laddningstid samt överförd datamängd. AimThe aim of this study is to examine the long term effects of e12 and how they have influenced the lifestyle and perceived awareness about nutrition and exercise in relation to factors from Social Cognitive Theory (SCT) that e12 took in consideration. The questions asked were; How has e12 affected the attitudes, skills, self-efficacy and knowledge relative to exercise? How has e12 influenced the individual?s habits of exercise? How has e12 affected the perceived awareness regarding the impact of nutrition and exercise on the body weight?MethodThe study is pursued by a qualitative method using semi structured interviews on six individuals between the ages of 16-18 years old that completed the project 4-5 years ago. A questionnaire regarding nutrition and exercise habits was also used as part of the study. All individuals from the year of interest were first contacted by the senior physician connected to the project.

In the project, Thai students have partaken by producing sex posters and a picture-show with the help of their own photographs and short texts. However, the picture-show was mainly produced by the author of this paper. These posters and the picture-show were brought to Sweden to figure as teaching material during a lesson in religious studies for students in year eight in a Swedish school.

Two post milkning teat dips (PMTD´s) were compared in an automatic milking system at Kungsängen Research Farm, owned by SLU (Swedish University of Agriculture) in Uppsala. In the experiment an evaluation system was used where teat condition regarding skin and teat ends was graded according to a scale where 1 was the best score and 5 the worst. The evaluation period was almost six months in total devided into four minor experimental periods. The technician scoring the teats did not know which PMTD that was currently used. Statistical analysis showed a significant difference between the two PMTD´s regarding teat skin condition, but not regarding teat ends.

In this study, I have interviewed middle-school teachers concerning this subject.My results show that teachers actually use pictures in order to make the education easier for pupils but they do not do it very often. They think that they do not have the time to look for the good pictures that go with their subject and that they can show in the classroom. They also think that the pictures in the textbooks are good enough and they do not discuss the pictures very much.

Concrete is a very common construction material. It´s characteristics are strength, durability and formablility. Superplasticizer is a common admixture, which changes the properties of concrete. Today (spring 2007) there are no certian mathematical methods to calculate the required percentage of this admixture needed to give the necessary set slump flow in the overall concrete recipe. Concrete batching companies must therefor experiment with different amount of superplasticizer in order to meet the specified slump and strength. The purpose og this report is to investigate if any mathematical relation can be established between the amount of superplasticizer used and the slump flow achieved. After carrying out some practical experiments using four different superplasticizers a direct relationship can be establish between the percentage of admixture used and the slump/flowability achieved. Unfortunatly at present due to the numerous variables, the calculation of mathematical formula can not be achieved..

Upprepad testning vid inlärning förstärker långtidsminnet. Fenomenet är även känt som testeffekten (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006). Huvudsyftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka testeffekten och jämföra den med inlärningseffekter av gruppdiskussioner. Andra syften var att undersöka om inlärning påverkades av individuella skillnader samt av testfrågornas komplexitet. Experiment genomfördes under fyra tillfällen och sammanlagt tolv studenter medverkade.

Försämras prestationen på en uppgift då det tillkommer en annan uppgift, och ärdet någon skillnad om en uppgift presenteras visuellt eller auditivt? 23 personerdeltog i ett experiment där en primär uppgift (perceptuell snabbhetsuppgift) ochen sekundär uppgift (minnestest) utfördes separat och simultant. Resultatetvisade ingen skillnad i prestation på primär uppgift oavsett om den utförs ensameller tillsammans med sekundär uppgift, i vare sig reaktionstid eller reaktionsfel.Det presteras däremot bättre på sekundär uppgift ensam (minnesrätt), äntillsammans med primär uppgift, då båda presenteras visuellt. This thesis has created an image of the exchange of information among teachers in the Swedish upper secondary school. The study indicates that the exchange of information seems to be limited at all levels and the exchange that takes place outside the own teaching team occurs mainly through teachers personal networks. The study also shows barriers that may exist and the opportunities that an increased exchange may generate. From the picture that the empirical material provides and the theory that is presented a discussion is made around how IT can best support the organizational learning in schools. Detta arbete innefattar planering, uppbyggnad och inkörning av teströtningsanläggning för biogasproduktion, bestående av batch- och tankreaktorsystem. Arbetet inbegriper även utförandet av experiment, på batchreaktorsystem, som syftar till att ge en första inblick och vägledning för vidare studier kring optimering av processen med inriktning på tillsats av kolkälla och justering av kvoten mellan kol och kväve. Utifrån de resultat som erhållits vid försök på batchreaktorsystemet observerades en positiv effekt, gällande ökad nedbrytning av VFA, vid tillsats av glukos till systemet. Igångkörning av tankreaktorsystemet gav erfarenheter gällande handhavandet av anläggningen samt driftsäkerheten, vad gäller t.ex. återstart efter strömavbrott, loggning av gasflödesdata, pålitlig substratdosering och substratuttag utan syreläckage in i systemet..
