Upplevelser av att vara icke heterosexuell i arbetslivet

Forming Teacher teams is currently the standard way of organizing Teachers in Swedish Compulsory Schools. This is the result of a process that started in the 1970s.Traditionally the culture of teaching has been one of isolation. Once the door to the classroom is shut, what happens behind the door is up to the Teacher to decide. Over the past thirty years a lot of time has been dedicated to making fundamental changes in the way Teachers interact with their colleagues. Today the idea of Teachers forming teams is generally accepted but still the core of a Swedish Teacher?s job is that of a lone worker.

Fysisk aktivitet : två skolor, två arbetssätt, en rektor

These two schools work with physical activity in two different ways and the study describes the Teacher´s and principal's choice of approach. Since our training is directed towards the younger ages, school years 1-3, we chose to interview Teachers who work in these classes.

The purpose of my essay is towrite about newly qualified elementary Teachers during their first professional experience and their opinions of a Teacher's identity. My interest is a result of that I myself am studying to be a Teacher and am reaching the end of my studies. My purpose is mainly to examine how Teachers first experience their role and if their education helped them resolve any problems they had. My aim was also to examine what the Teacher?s identity and role and the question of leadership means for new Teachers?I have used a qualitative interview method. The results showed that new Teachers experience difficulties and that their training does not prepare them sufficiently. The results also showed that the Teacher?s identity, the Teacher?s role and leadership are factors that grow with time and experience in the teaching role and that it is not something that the beginner Teachers acquire during their education. I have achieved a clearer picture of what to expect and how to enter into the role of Teacher with support and time..

Lärare - status - profession. En retorisk analys av artiklar knutna till lärares situation på 1960- och 2010-talet

The aim with this study is to investigate how the role of the Teacher has changed and how society has influenced the Teachers' situation in the 1960s and 2010s, with a focus on teaching in secondary school. Starting in the late 1980s when the concept of profession was introduced to the Swedish Teachers, many claim that a deprofessionalization for Teachers started at this time. Others say that already in the 1960s, the Teachers status in the society started to decrease. The method I have used is a rethorical analysis of articles in Swedish Teacher Union Journals. I have also availed myself of one article in the newspaper and articles in online magazines. The rethorical analysis aims to investigate whether the articles give an enthusiastic or dystopian approach to the teaching role, in a similar way as Thomas Karlsohn have used the concepts..

I wanted to get a deeper knowledge about working methods that are used for pupils with these problems. In my study I have used qualitative research methods. ?Men snöbollarna är ju mer än tio!? : en vetenskaplig essä om matematik, lek och lärande i förskolan

My aim with the experience-based essay is that I want to explore the implications of mathematics on children's development. I also want to examine my approach in relation to the various mathematical tasks. Why do we think that mathematics is important for pre-school children? What does the research say about how the Teacher is thinking about mathematics? Can the Teacher combine playing and learning and create meaningful moments and activities related to mathematics? I also want to explore our policies and the objectives that the Teacher should relate to. What is required of me as a Teacher in order to meet those goals? My essay is about mine and my boss?s view of the mathematical tasks that I usually perform in the preschool.

Skolkod och pedagogisk förändring

Meeting the pupils at work it is important to endeavor an adjustment of the education with the purpose of developing the individual person. To make this possible it requires, except for the intentions of teaching with an individual adjustment, the Teacher to make oneself acquainted with the schools work and liability. This is especially important in the work with students with difficulties. for this group of students perhaps an alternative form of education would be to prefer. As method of investigation I used a qualitative case study with a Teacher who uses, what I would call, an alternative way of teaching. as a Teacher you should pay attention to, and be aware of, how you effect your pupils and with this as a starting point conduct oneself.
