The purpose with this degree thesis was to investigate the preschool teacher´s view onchildrens´s influence in preschool routine situations. The target group for this study ispreschool teacher´s that currently are working with children that are 1 ? 5 years of age. To manage to answer the aim of this study semi-structured interviews were conducted. I have performed interviews with five preschool teacher´s that currently work in a preschool that is situated in a medium sized city, in the county Värmland, Sweden.

This study draws upon the framework for analyzing the discourse of a science classroom introduced by Mortimer and Scott (2003). It has been used for many studies before on high school youths, but never on adults. Therefore, this study focuses on the interaction between teacher and students in an adult education on high school level in physics, and how students can change the classroom discourse. Observations took place in two different schools for adults, in four different teaching groups. The result was analyzed by pattern of interactions, communicative approach, teaching purpose, type of student questions and their effect on the classroom discourse.

2008 presenterades utredningen SOU 2008:52, ?Legitimation och skärpta behörighetsregler?. Avsikten var att komma tillrätta med problemet att så många lärare var obehöriga, vilket ansågs försämra kvalitén i skolan. Uppsatsens material består i utredningen samt sex relaterade remissvar.Syftet med uppsatsen var att söka svar på vilka argument utredningen använde, på vilket sätt de presenterades samt hur de bemöttes i remissvaren.För att uppnå detta användes verktyg för retorisk analys och, i remissvaren, ett språkligt perspektiv med fokus på värdeladdade ord.Resultatet var att utredningen till största del använde sig av hänvisningar till bl.a. andra utredningar, forskare och andra auktorisationssystem.Det visade sig även att remissinstanserna s.a.s.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka vilken bild införandet av lärarlegitimation ges i dagspress under tiden mellan början av 2008 och den 30 november 2012. I undersökningen samlades data i form av debattartiklar och ledare från svenska dags- och kvällstidningar in för att analyseras med avseende på vem som författat artikeln samt med hjälp av idéanalys för att utröna artiklarnas argumentativa innehåll.År 2010 beslutades sveriges riksdag om införandet av en legitimation för lärare från förskola till gymnasium, något som förespråkats av såväl lärarfack som politiska intressen. Trots detta ledde beslutet till en livlig debatt om för- och nackdelar med legitimationen.I debatten kom en mängd olika grupper och intressen till tals, även om journalister, politiker och fackliga företrädare dominerar debatten. Det uttalas en mängd olika argument för och emot legitimationen, vilket ger en bred och mångfaldig bild av problem och möjligheter med legitimationen. Dock så målar debatten upp en genomgående negativ bild av skolan som arbetsplats och läraryrket.De röster som talar emot införandet är ofta enskilda lärare och forskare inom fält som ligger skolan nära.

I Sverige pågår en omfattande yrkeslegitimationsreform inom skolan. Legitimation har presenterats som en kvalitetssäkring av skolan, som ett bevis på att den som arbetar har rätt kompetens till att utföra det pedagogiska arbetet. Fritidspedagogen har rätt till en legitimation som lärare i skolämne, men inte som fritidspedagog i fritidspedagogiken. Genom den här undersökningen kartläggs fritidshemmets kvalitetsdiskurs, som visar sig vara beroende av hur fritidspedagogen förhåller sig till sitt lärandeuppdrag. Undersökningen tar avstamp i ett kommunövergripande arbete som genomförts för att stärka fritidshemmens kvalitet.

Då dagens samhälle mer och mer styrs av någon form av informationssystem, ställs det också krav på att medborgarna numera även ska kunna identifiera sig i den digitala världen. Samhällskritiska tjänster som adressändring, bankärenden och deklaration har förflyttats in i den digitala världen i besparingssyfte då företag och verksamheter söker effektivare och mer lönsamma lösningar för dess verksamheter, och säker identifikation blir således viktigt för framtidens handel via elektroniska tjänster. Det är inte bara själva identifieringen som är av vikt för processen, utan även hur en identitet kan säkerställas på så vis att det verkligen är rätt person som döljer sig bakom den elektroniska identiteten. Utifrån detta ämnas denna rapport påvisa huruvida det faktiskt finns någon användbarhetsrelaterad problematik med den nuvarande e-legitimationen.För att ge svar på den forskningsfråga och uppfylla studiens syfte kommer en deduktiv ansats att antas i rapporten. Denna ansats sker med hjälp av enenkätundersökning med både kvantitativa såväl som kvalitativa inslag, och slutligen utmynnar detta i att forskningsfrågan besvaras..

The aim of the study is to investigate how a teacher and a special education teacher cooperate to prevent a pupil with reading difficulties from ending up in the vicious circle of the Matthew effect, and to find out how a pupil with reading difficulties experiences his or her reading situation. This case study is based on a phenomenological perspective whereby qualitative interviews illuminate a commonly occurring problem in today?s schools. Interviews were conducted with a teacher, a special education teacher, and a pupil in grade 1, in order to cover everyone?s perspective in this situation.

The Swedish teacher education is continuously changing along with the understanding of learning. The teacher education at Södertörn University has an intercultural profile, which is considered modern and innovative. In this essay, students? experiences from their practical training are analyzed to examine the correspondence between teacher practice and the modern teacher role conveyed by the University. The results show that some students have experienced practical training where the standards of the University?s teacher role were met, whereas others feel that they have not received the practical guidance needed to be able to wholly use their education in their future employment.

In this essay I reflect on what makes a good preschool teacher today. I discuss the importance of education, the importance of experience and practical knowledge, but also the importance of capacity for self-reflection and listening. I bring up examples from my workplace, where some think more about their limitations than on what and how much they actually can. Others are more satisfied by what they can and see less of their limits. Some are also lack of the will to see differently and to do changes.

The goal of this study is to examine what five teacher?s impression of the teacher?s role is in their previous years. How important the ?joy at work? is in relation with the educational progress? And what aspects that contributes to the? joy at work? and what obstacles that stops them. The essay will also go through the concepts of a teacher role, with connection to the theoretical perspectives of Csikszentmihalyi?s Flow and Antonovsky?s Salutogenesis (KASAM).The method I used was interviewing five teachers and I used Larsen?s chapter of ?content analysis? as a basis, I also used Flow and KASAM as theoretical references in my analysis.

Forming teacher teams is currently the standard way of organizing teachers in Swedish Compulsory Schools. This is the result of a process that started in the 1970s.Traditionally the culture of teaching has been one of isolation. Once the door to the classroom is shut, what happens behind the door is up to the teacher to decide. Over the past thirty years a lot of time has been dedicated to making fundamental changes in the way teachers interact with their colleagues. Today the idea of teachers forming teams is generally accepted but still the core of a Swedish teacher?s job is that of a lone worker.

The purpose of this study is to examine how two different primary schools with the same school management district work with daily physical activity. We have chosen to conduct our investigation based on interviews. Through the interviews, we can highlight the teacher´s and principal´s interpretations of the concept regarding physical activity and find out the school´s arguments and working methods for pupil´s physical activity. These two schools work with physical activity in two different ways and the study describes the teacher´s and principal's choice of approach. Since our training is directed towards the younger ages, school years 1-3, we chose to interview teachers who work in these classes.

This study aims to investigate how a number of students who are at the end of a teachers? educations program in social studies, geography, religion and history interpret that the national curriculums states that every teacher is responsible for students language development and should be supportive of language backgrounds. In the light of the curriculums the study explores how the teacher education students feel that the education has prepared them for teaching children with Swedish as a second language. The study also examines how the teacher education students think that the teacher education could improve in matters like preparing future teachers to teach social studies, geography, religion and history to second language children.The study is based on interviews with seven university students and shows that they feel a responsibility to develop their future students? language.

The purpose of my essay is towrite about newly qualified elementary teachers during their first professional experience and their opinions of a teacher's identity. My interest is a result of that I myself am studying to be a teacher and am reaching the end of my studies.My purpose is mainly to examine how teachers first experience their role and if their education helped them resolve any problems they had. My aim was also to examine what the teacher?s identity and role and the question of leadership means for new teachers?I have used a qualitative interview method.The results showed that new teachers experience difficulties and that their training does not prepare them sufficiently. The results also showed that the teacher?s identity, the teacher?s role and leadership are factors that grow with time and experience in the teaching role and that it is not something that the beginner teachers acquire during their education. I have achieved a clearer picture of what to expect and how to enter into the role of teacher with support and time..
