AbstractIn my ambition to improve my writing and reflect upon the way I express myself I am, in this paper, going to study the purport of the term pathetic. I do this by inquiring what lexicon and dictionaries say about the term and by studying how the word can be used in present time. I apply the contemporary usage of the term pathetic to my own text and then adapt my text from how the term is used in our time. By doing this I clarify to myself how I look at my own literary style, what I want my writing to be like and how the progress in my composing is developing. According to the interpretations I have done, I find meanings like ?ridiculous? and meanings which have to do with strong emotions as well.

SammandragSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka kopplingen mellan skriftspråk och självbild. En undersökning av 6 elever i 12-årsåldern genomfördes. Undersökningsmaterialet består av en skriftlig berättelse och enkätsvar utifrån både slutna och öppna frågor. Jag deltog som observatör och stöd under elevernas arbete med att skriva sina berättelser och svara på enkätfrågorna.Med tanke på undersökningens omfattning går det inte att säga att det finns en tydlig koppling mellan skriftspråksförmåga och självbild. Man kan dock se några tendenser som är intressanta.

Det här arbetet har handlat om att komponera sångmelodier bestående av vers, refräng och eventuellt en brygga med hjälp av sex olika metoder. Jag ville ta reda på vilken metod jag ska använda för att min arbetsprocess ska flyta på så bra som möjligt och samtidigt få resultat som jag är nöjd med. Melodierna var menade att passa inom genren pop och tanken var att de skulle passa min röst, eftersom jag planerar att sjunga dem själv. Jag kom fram till att den metod som fick arbetsprocessen att flyta på bäst för mig var att improvisera fram melodier med rösten till en färdig text, men den metod som jag tycker gav de bästa melodierna var att improvisera fram melodier med rösten utan några andra hjälpmedel. Arbetet har resulterat i 24 stycken inspelade sångmelodier med tillhörande ackord samt två stycken färdiga låtar med text och ett enklare arrangemang..

Inom det teoretiska perspektivet för huvudområdet SMDI vilket inbegriper språkliga och kulturella verksamheter som barn och unga ingår i, men samtidigt med vidgad ram mot skrivutveckling och textsocialisation mot det nya medielandskapet, skrivs denna uppsats. Studien syftar till att ge en djupare förståelse för hur elevers samtal skapar text i skärmbaserad undervisning, det vill säga hur eleverna arbetar med digitala verktyg i undervisningen, samt för hur läraren stödjer samtalet. This thesis examines conceptions of gender revealed by people when assessing texts. The research questions are: What associations can be discerned between gender conceptions and ideas about the quality of texts? What features of content and style are perceived as female or male? The study seeks to develop a method for comparing different people?s assessments of the same text. The material was collected by means of questionnaires in which 114 informants were asked to assess three anonymous student texts and then guess the sex of the writer. The material has been analysed quantitatively by correlating the assessments of the texts with the guesses about the sex of the author, and qualitatively, as the informants? freely worded assessments of the texts were analysed for content and form with the support of assumptions about how assessments are expressed in text.

Background and problem: Higher and other demands are made on management control systems in organizations which have a superior non-financial objective. Systembolaget, a state-owned company with monopoly to sell alcoholic beverages in Sweden, combines two main objectives which can be considered as conflicting, one financial target and one superior non-financial public welfare target. The research questions are focused on the translation of information through the organization?s levels and if the management control system makes it possible to run the organization according to both of the two main conflicting objectives.Purpose and Delimitations: To describe, analyze and evaluate how management control can be used in an organization, which is not profit maximizing and has both non-financial and financial objectives. The essay does not try to describe or draw generalized conclusions regarding general perspectives on Systembolaget?s assignment and objectives.Method: A qualitative and evaluative case study based on interviews with five employees at different levels in Systembolaget has been carried through.

The aim of this study is to investigate how the Swedish language proficiency of pupils in vocational programmes in 1977 was measured and assessed with the aid of a national achievement test, and to investigate whether vocational pupils today, in 2014, have similar language proficiency to that of pupils in the 1970s. The study also discusses how the design of the national achievement test from 1977 reflects the view of knowledge that prevailed in society and in the policy documents. The material for the study consists of a total of 75 national achievement tests, 40 of which were taken by pupils on a vocational programme in 1977 and 35 by pupils on a vocational programme in 2014. The national achievement test consists of two parts, the first of which focuses on isolated elements of language proficiency, while the second involves free text production. The material was analysed quantitatively in accordance with the correction material from 1977.

The purpose of this study is to examine constructions of plaintiff [woman] and the defendant [man] in Swedish rape convictions from 2013. The cases in this study cover acquaintance rape. We also intend to analyze the constructions of the sexes in relations to each other. The study is completed by a qualitative text analysis, with inspiration of a hermeneutic interpretation. The result is presented by four categories: the worthy of protection of the woman, the penalty of the man, the complicity of the woman and credibility.
