The aim of this paper is to find an algorithm to establish and maintain a virtual enclosure around a mobile unit. The area may take any form and should be scalable up to and including national borders. The enclosure is managed on the mobile unit. The target system is Android. Smartphones, tablets and more recently, cameras is examples of mobile units. A modern mobile unit is part of a computer network.

Children undergo great developmental changes during the preschool and early school years. It is also the very same period in which their pragmatic abilities develop. This study aimed to examine the relationship between Theory of Mind and syntax. Fifty-four preschool and school children aged between 3:11 to 9:0 years participated. TROG-2 and a False Belief assessment of Sally Anne design using three conditions: narrative, silent and distortion were used.

Mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones are quite common in this day. The author of this thesis wanted to know how common these mobile devices are in the building industry and how they are used and what potential an app could have. The author thus conducted an investigation on this matter, mainly in the form of interviews.Answers given by the interviews were then used as a basis to survey the usage of mobile devices and the usage of different kinds of apps. An investigation of different apps with the potential to be used by professionals in the building industry has been carried through. The thesis in product development ? mechanical design includes 15 credits and was carried out during the spring of 2014 at Semcon in Eskilstuna. The task is to construct a special machine for positioning and orientation of a key blank found in six different shapes, the construction is a part of a larger machine for encoding the key blank where a pick- and-place device or robot pick up the key blank and deliver it further in the process. The entire construction is designed for ASSA OEM Gothenburg.In order to accomplish the project the first step was to analyze the existing solutions to similar problems on the market in a current situation analysis to create an understanding of the problem. This was followed by a flow analysis and a functional analysis to get a deeper understanding of the problem and structuring the machine's process flow and its features.

In Sweden there are 560 000 disabled people over the age of 16, half of those are in use of some kind of mobility device.Living with a disability means that due to injury or illness you are having trouble functioning without devices or assistance in your daily life and has a big impact on the independence of the disabled user.The everyday life for disabled parents with young children are different depending on the type of disability and mobility device.Today there is no alternative to the stroller for the disabled user who use mobility advises. This causes problems when the disabled person on there own have/want to move the child.The following statement have been the cornerstone for this project: How to make it possible for a wheelchair user to move a child, in the 0-2 year, for longer distances with a focus on independence and safety for both adult children?Due the process, of industrial design, this question and problem have been solved during 10 weeks. The process have contained parts as meeting with users, analyzing, concept development, evaluations, mock-up making, testing, shape & color development etc. This in the end have resulted in a full scale model of the appearance of a proposed product.The result is a stroller witch can be connected to the users specific wheelchair due two one time adjustments.

The purpose of this study is to examine in what extent primary school teachers, teaching children in the age of 6 to 9, choose to use digital tools in their teaching of mathematics. I also want to examine what these teachers think, in terms of advantages and disadvantages, about using digital tools on their mathematics lessons. Finally I want to examine what skills they possess about digital tools.I am using a quantitative method to collect my data. The quantitative survey consisted of a questionnaire survey of ten questions that 38 primary school teachers have answered.The results of my study show that the teachers to some extent use digital tools when they teach mathematics and that the availability of various digital tools are generally good. But it turns out that the availability of tools is not a guarantee that they are used in teaching of mathematics.

The essay is a discourse analysis of the media's attitudes toward computing. The aim is to compare what the media is really saying about the usage of tablets, computers and compare it to what the research is saying. In addition, it examines what the media says about socialization. We analyze the newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Expressen and will first compare these two together and see what attitudes that emerge, and then seek similarities and differences with the previous research and theories including socialization learning, attitudes and consumption. Conclusions we can draw is that Expressen has a more negative attitude towards the use of computers while the Dagens Nyheter has a more positive attitude, but is also more objective to what they write about.

This report evaluates various methods that can be used to position a smartphone running the Android platform, without the use of any special hardware or infrastructure and in conditions where GPS is unavailable or unreliable; such as indoors. Denna studie har haft som syfte att synliggöra i vilka situationer förskolepedagoger och barn på en förskolas småbarnsavdelning använder sig av surfplattor. Faktorer som undersökts har varit vilka kontexter som utgör dessa situationer, vilka beståndsdelar dessa kontexter består av samt vilka motiv och aktiviteter som ligger till grund för användning av surfplattor. Studien har varit av kvalitativ karaktär och har undersökt en småbarnsavdelning med barn upp till tre år på en förskola i Stockholm. För att åstadkomma detta har semi-deltagande observationer skett på förskolan under fyra dagar. Den insamlade datan har ställts mot och analyserats efter Nardi, Dourish och Benyons teorier om kontext samt Blomberg, Burrell & Guests teori om etnografi.

In 2012 blogging reached an all time high in Sweden. Around 400,000 people made blog posts at least one time during this year. Blogs have publishing as a main purpose and can after publication be read by anyone with a computer, smartphone or tablet with an Internet connection. This makes the blogger open to response through comments that can be either constructive or destructive. No research has been made regarding blog comments and their effect on bloggers and their writing process.
