AbstractAt the UN Conference on Environment and Development in 1992 the nations stated that traditional environmental policies were not sufficient to handle the multidimensional challenges posed by sustainable development. Governments needed to broaden their political decision making procedures in order to coordinate and integrate environmental, social and economic policies. Therefore a new tool was introduced in Agenda 21, National Strategies for Sustainable Development (NSDS). The aim of an NSDS would be to bring together actors from all parts of society to jointly reach a consensus on how to work towards the vision of a sustainable society. An NSDS would be seen as a strategic tool to help focus national policies for SD.

Studien syftar till att undersöka hur socialsekreterare resonerar kring omhändertagande av gravida missbrukare. I studien undersöks även tillämpning av tvångsvårdslagstiftning i förhållande till gravida missbrukare och socialsekreterares förhållningssätt till etiska aspekter när beslut om tvångsvård av gravida missbrukare tas. Studien är kvalitativ och genomförs med hjälp av intervjuer med socialsekreterare och även med hjälp av officiella dokument från olika myndigheter. I studien används teorier som empowerment och företrädarskap av Ole Petter Askheim (2007) och Malcolm Payne (2008), socialarbetares handlingsutrymme av Karin Svensson m.fl. (2008) och etiska koder i socialt arbete av Erik Blennberger (2006).

Den svenska skatterätten har i reglerna om partiella fissioner fått ett nytt omstruktureringsverktyg. Reglerna infördes den 1 januari 2007 och fick ta plats i 38 a kapitlet i inkomstskattelagen. Det finns redan tidigare en rad omstruktureringsmöjligheter och uppsatsen syftar till att avgöra huruvida partiella fissioner innebär någon nyhet i svensk skatterätt samt att undersöka verktygets användbarhet. Reglerna i inkomstskattelagen har en motsvarighet i reglerna om partiella delningar i aktiebolagslagen. För att kunna bedöma verktygets nyhetsvärde och användbarhet krävs att man tittar på den bolagsrättsliga regleringen och vilka konsekvenser ett genomförande kan få.

Uppsatsen bygger på en analys av en exit-nod i Tor-nätverket i syfte att efterlikna ett tidigare experiment från 2007. Experimentet går ut på att analysera den information som kommer genom nätverket för att leta efter okrypterade lösenord. Experimentet görs i syfte att påvisa de brister som finns i nätverket och i användarnas säkerhetsmedvetande. Arbetet utgår från frågeställningarna:Går det att utvinna känslig information från en exit-nod i Tor-nätverket.-       Går det att utvinna okrypterade lösenord från en exit-nod i nätverket?-       Vilka typer av tjänster tillhör lösenorden som uppkommer i analysen av den insamlade data?För att kunna besvara mina tre frågeställningar har jag valt att göra ett experimentellt arbete för att ta reda på om användarna skickar okrypterade lösenord, och till vilka tjänster lösenorden tillhör.

This thesis analyses the 2005 UK presidency of the Council, and more particularly the negotiations on the future financing of the European Union. The purpose of the study is to discuss whether the holding of the presidency implies political influence for the member state. To analyse the power of the country holding the chair the thesis focuses on the presidency functions of brokering and leadership. The theory suggests that the influence of the presidency is derived from informational and procedural power resources, as well as some leadership resources, such as coercion and reward. A case study was used to analyse whether these power resources were used by the British presidency.

This report summarizes a Bachelor Degree Project in Integrated Product Development,carried out during the spring semester in 2007 by three students at the Product Design Engineering programme at the University of Skövde. The project was performed as an assignment for KinBag ab, a sister subsidiary to Kinnegrip ab in Lidköping, who develop,manufacture and market the golf bag KinBag, a bag with an integrated wheel carriage system. The purpose of the project was to redesign the golf bag to attract a target group consisting of golfers aged between 20 and 40.The layout of the project was as follows: The project began with a feasibility study where different problems were identified with the basis of a market research which eventually was summarized in a dynamic specification of requirements. The feasibility study was followed by a generation of ideas which contained everything from sketches to simple mock-ups with an intensive amount of thoughtful brainwork and information gathering in between. This ledto the development of a number of design concepts, both on an overall level and on different parts of the golf bag.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine what expectations young adults have of the public library andthereby determine the relevance of the library guidelines, Påbarns och ungdomars villkor (2003), for young adults. The empirical data is gathered through focus group interviews consisting of 18 participants between the ages of 16 and 17. The conceptual framework for this study is based on Lee´s motivation model for customers in the public library (2007). The model focuses on three conditions for motivation: expectation, instrumentality and valence.The results reveal that young adults in this study have low expectations of the public library. They express little need for public library services because they see the possibility of finding the same things that the library offers through other alternatives, such as the Internet.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka om begreppet media literacy har relevans för skolan och vilket utrymme det ges i undervisningssammanhang i skolan. Vi vill samtidigt öka vår kunskap inom området.

This essay investigates whether there?s logic behind the sanction system regarding the penalty imprisonment in the swedish penal code. The focus is in general on crimes against the person and crimes against the state, but in particular on crimes of serious fiscal offence and crimes of serious assault. The idea with the essay was also to explain the wording purpose behind the punishment ranges in these selected crimes. The essays focus is on the public unawareness on how the punishment ranges is used.

The arm?s length principle has existed in Swedish law since 1928 but has previously been given little attention. In 2007, documentation requirements were introduced, and the government began to do tax audits regarding transfer pricing. This thesis examines how the documentation requirements and tax audits affect the application of the arm's length principle. The research consists of nine interviews with a total of ten people at the tax authority (Skatteverket) and audit- and consulting agencies. The results of the interviews are analyzed using the agency theory. Many companies are risk averse and prefer having correct transfer pricing instead of taking on challenging strategies that can be risky in case of an investigation by Skatteverket.

Plant tRNA isopentenyltransferases (tRNA-IPT, EC 2.5.1.8) have two roles, modification of tRNA and contribution to cytokinin synthesis. tRNA-IPT is among the best studied of the tRNA-modifying enzymes, but little biochemical information is available and none for the plant enzymes. Therefore two sets of experiments were conducted. The first one aimed to determine the kinetics and substrate specificity of the tRNA-IPT AtIPT2 from the higher plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The second project aimed to study the role of IPTs from the moss Physcomitrella patens in the production of cytokinin hormones.

Få institutioner är i lika hög grad som skolan föremål för forskning och åsikter. Alla har rätt att säga sitt när det gäller skola och utbildning, vilket medför att forskning emellanåt anammas utan vare sig reflektion eller vidare granskning. Nytt för skolan för tillfället är ett vidgat textbegreppstänkande. Nytt är också att individuella utvecklingsplaner ska upprättas för varje elev. ?Individualitet? är ett begrepp som bland annat den amerikanske pedagogen John Dewey (1859-1952) hade teorier om.

Sammanfattning/abstract Syfte: Syftet med detta arbete är att få större förståelse kring hur mobbning utspelar sig i dagens skolmiljö, samt att göra människor uppmärksamma på vad mobbning via sociala medier innebär och vilka åtgärder som möjligen finns tillgängliga. Teori: I arbetet har Olweus (1999) teori om mobbning tillämpats och Dunkels (2007) teori om mobbning som förekommer via sociala medier. Metod: Metoden som använts har varit anonyma enkätundersökningar med elever i årskurs fem och sex på tre olika skolor, samt en enkätundersökning med organisationerna Friends och BRIS. Resultat/Slutsats: Resultatet som kommit fram i detta arbete visar bland annat att om man kränker någon via internet så kan man vara anonym, samt att det är lättare att kränka någon via sociala medier då man inte behöver se hur den man behandlar illa reagerar. Utifrån elevenkäterna kunde man tyda att eleverna vill ha bättre vuxennärvaro på internet, och menade bland annat att det ska finnas någon som har uppsikt om i fall mobbning förekommer..

År 2007 hamnade Osby kommun tredje sist på JämIndex, JämO:s lista över hur pass jämställda Sveriges kommuner är. I denna uppsats analyserar vi hur jämställdhetsarbetet ser ut i Osby kommun. Genom intervjuer med förvaltnings- och enhetschefer i kommunen undersöker vi vilka attityder som dessa personer har kring jämställdhet och den befintliga jämställdhetsplanen för att vidare studera hur dessa attityder kan påverka kommunens jämställdhetsarbete. Vår teoretiska referensram tar utgångspunkt i Wahl, Åström och Roth där feministisk organisationsteori och teorier kring jämställdhetsarbete används. Resultaten från vår studie visar på positiva attityder kring jämställdhet mer generellt hos cheferna, men när det kommer till mer specifika frågor som att arbeta aktivt för detta saknas engagemang och intresse.

The difference between the public sector and the private sector in Sweden was once very small. These sectors have been united as well for the people, the organizations as for the finances. During the 1960´s and 1970´s the public sector in Sweden was expanding and after the 1980´s the people started talking more about an expanding private sector instead. The year of 2007 Hökarängen Hemtjänst Ekonomisk Förening submitted a tender to Äldreförvaltningen about a purchase of the home- help service in Hökarängen and they accept there tender.Exposing public organization for competition can be a good way to make sure that most value for the money is created and that it generates the most cost- effective organizations. The motivation factor is used to describewhat makes people perform more than what is expected of them.The purpose of this study is to describe and explain similarities and differences in working- motivation between those how are members of Hökarängen Hemtjänst Ekonomisk Förening and those how are not.
