Background: Sporting events conveyed by the TV medium affect people and can give many unforgettable experiences. Sport may be synonymous with excitement and drama or just serve as entertainment. Through TV broadcasts from different sporting events, millions of televiewers all over the world have enjoyed athletic feats of extreme top class. TV broadcast sport always attracts a great number of viewers, also in Sweden. The prices of broadcasting rights to sporting events have risen strongly during the last decade, much as a consequence of the increasing competition between different TV companies both internationally and in Sweden.

Syftet med detta projekt är att skapa en prototyp för ett digitalt tentamenssystem, där studenterna skriver tentamen med hjälp av läsplattor, samt utvärdera vilka fördelar och nackdelar ett sådant system skulle kunna medföra.Huvudfokuset för detta projekt var att utveckla en prototyp för ett digitalt tentamenssystem med stöd för bland annat automatisk rättning, kompilering och automatisk evaluering av programspråksfrågor. Vi försöker samtidigt bibehålla de positiva aspekterna av ett analogt system, som till exempel möjlighet för både lärare och elev att uttrycka sig genom frihandsritning.Denna studie har visat att det finns många fördelar för både studenter och lärare med en övergång till ett digitalt tentamenssystem samt att man med små medel kan skapa en fungerande prototyp av ett sådant system..

This essay will cover the Swedish electoral system with a focus on the proportional representation andthe process involved from the conversion of votes to seats in the parliament. This process consists ofseveral methods which are created by political decisions as well as mathematical formulas and is notalways perfect in terms of equalization. The manufactory industry, due to decline in profit margins, is seeking new business opportunities by moving towards servitization and value-adding services in after-sales. We have therefore conducted a case study to investigate a manufacturing company in their current transformation towards servitization. By studying the management perspective, we aimed to understand how Information Technology, by adding value, could play a role in the transformation process. This study shows that information technology can take an integrating role, by supporting new value-adding services to provider and customer, as well as a co-creating role, where both provider and customer benefits by learning from each other, in the changing work process initiated by new services. The study has also shown that Information Technology, together with organization, information and people, are crucial components in the manufactory industry?s transformation towards servitization.  Furthermore, the study has also shown that the value chain has the potential to drastically change due to the value-adding that the information technology brings to the progress of servitization..

Dagens arbetsliv är till stor del beroende av IT på olika sätt. Majoriteten av Sveriges arbetare har på något sätt kontakt med IT i sin vardag för att genomföra sitt arbete. För en del är det helt nödvändigt då deras arbete enbart berör IT medan det för andra är ett verktyg som underlättar den vardagliga processen. Frågan är ifall det alltid är ett verktyg som underlättar de vardagliga processerna?I den här uppsatsen redogör vi för en kvalitativ studie som genomförts genom intervjuer vid Karlstads universitet för att se hur åtta stycken anställda med utbildningsrelaterade arbetsuppgifter uppfattar och upplever den digitala arbetsmiljö.

The Library of Uppsala University has decided to change their classification system from the Swedish SAB system to the American Dewey Decimal Classification. One of the main reasons for this decison was that Kungliga biblioteket also has made an exchange between these systems. Due to that, the national bibliography of Sweden classifies Swedish documents according to Dewey Decimal Classification and the SAB system is no longer maintained. A transition to Dewey Decimal Classification will enable Swedish librarians to import foreign catalouge posts and classification codes and will provide them with a common standard between their libraries and other libraries due to the use of the same international classification system. It is disputed whether the Dewey Decimal Classification is equally suitable for all subjects.

Men för att dessa system ska vara kompletterande och inte öka utgifterna för företagen så krävs det att kiosk-tjänsterna har en fungerande och eektiv interaktionsdesign. Annars leder det till missnöjda kunder och ökade omkostnader för uppdateringar och underhåll.Vi har undersökt och utvärderat tre system för att se vilka brister som finns i deras användbarhet och hur detta påverkar efektiviteten.

When a new technique is considered it is often the performance of the technique itself, under given conditions, that is evaluated. However, in order to evaluate the overall function the whole picture is needed. With a system analysis it becomes possible to make a comparison where all the positive aspects are put up against the negative ones, for the technique itself as well as its requirements. Quickmatch is a company that recruits students to other companies that need temporary workers. Today all administration is done by hand, which is very time demanding and therefore inefficient. During test flights SAAB uses the data acquisition system COMET 16. The part of the system that receives the signals from the sensors and converts them is called KSM 15. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a data acquisition module on stacked PC/104 modules with a lower production cost. Our work has been divided into one part about analog signal conditioning and a second part with digital filtering and memory management of the sampled data. The analog part, designed of regular components like instrument amplifiers, voltage references, operational amplifiers and multiplexers, adjusts the sensors signal levels for the ADC?s that converts the signals.

I will write about product placement in film from a Swedish point of view. This entails writing about Swedish films with different types of product placements, not only how they are done but also discuss how they succeed from a sales perspective. In my earlier work I have written about the product placement of watches. In this thesis I focus on the film series about the Swedish agent Carl Hamilton, since here you can see how Swedish film has developed during the past 30 years with regard to product placements. Both world politics and the concrete placements are illustrated in a clear way.

The thesis describes the following main question: Will the administrative labour during football tournaments be made easier with the help from a mobile web service or will it convey to unnecessary extra work? To be able to give a good and qualified answer to this question, the thesis will in the beginning describe how the technique for such a system might look like and also describe the existing administrative moments during a football tournament, this is too give the reader a deeper understanding for further reading. The thesis then goes on to describe a concrete system which is tested on three football tournaments. On the basis of the tests, interviews and through analysis of these the thesis will be able to answer our questions. The result which we present in the thesis have unfolded through testing of the system on three chosen football tournaments.
