This report describes how we, with support from Systeam Datakonsult AB Värnamobuilds a dynamic website for a fictional company. The purpose of this work is to tietogether our studies with the businesses in the region, and expand our knowledge.Together with Peter Bäckrud from Systeam we worked out the goals to achieve thispurpose. The goals are to create a polished intranet to a company with the webpagepublishing tool EPIserverThis report begins with describing the goals and visions that were set up. Then follows athorough theoretical background that describes the areas we have touched, to give thereader an idea about the work. The report then moves into the creation phase that talksabout the problem that occurred during development.The creation phase is split up into two parts where the first part gives a good descriptionabout how we designed a usability friendly website that would fulfill the goals we had setup.

Detta arbete beskriver och analyserar vilka förutsättningar som är viktiga att ta hänsyn till vid en installation av ett trådlöst nätverk hos Systeam. Ämnet trådlösa nätverk är omfattande och komplext och många i branschen saknar idag kompetens inom området. Det finns en uppsjö av olika komponenter, krypteringar och tillvägagångssätt. Detta arbete har utförts i samarbete med Systeam Network Center (SNC), som vill undersöka möjligheterna och vilka förutsättningar som krävs för att kunna erbjuda ett gemensamt trådlöst nätverk som uppfyller kraven att vara säkert, skalbart och centralt administrerbart från SNC. SNC vill skaffa sig en uppfattning om vilket behov som de olika bolagen hos Systeam i Huskvarna har av ett trådlöst nätverk, och därmed få fram en gemensam bild av hur ett trådlöst nätverk bör utformas.

This paper aims to investigate whether a small organization with small development teams can find a value in leaving a functioning development process to follow a formal systems development methodology, if these organizations can find support in an agile systems development method and in such case the method needs to be adjusted according to the organizations unique conditions.A traditional plan-driven system development methodology includes a number of phases that are carried out sequentially and a completed phase can basically not be resumed. All requirements are specified at the beginning of a project and at the end of the project only one delivery of software take place. This can cause difficulties in for example dealing with changing requirements. Agile system development methods intend to deal with changing requirements and to enable continuous delivery of valuable, working software.In this paper, both the traditional plan-driven methods and agile methods will be explained. Research methodology and existing system development theories will be discussed and a company where the study has been conducted will be presented.

This exam paper has been a collaboration between the writers and Systeam Utvecklingspartner in Huskvarna. The assignment was about finding a need for a mobile application, making a requirement specification document with design documents and parallel to this constructing a prototype. The assignment is summarized in the following questions:? How can companies in the forest industry benefit from mobile information technology?? How can a user centered perspective be used in the process of making the requirement specification document and the design documents?? How do guidelines for usability apply to a mobile application?Three visits to companies in the forest industry were made to find a need for mobile information technology solutions. After a small analysis of the different companies? problems and conditions the decision was to use Tenhults Impregneringsverk AB in the case study.We used the FA/SIM method in our job of finding the organization needs for change and the principles of User Centered Design in the work of constructing a prototype.The result of our work is a requirement specification with design documents and a prototype.

The changed role of IT continuously influences organisational development, the individual and his role in the organization, different kinds of structures, management processes and strategies. One of the big concerns for IT firms is the need for IT consultants with enough experience to effectively and rapidly understand the business procedures of the firm in or-der to become a resource. In the classic IT-consultant role in the early days of IT, quite dif-ferent features were expected from them in their work procedures. The structure of how and which tasks they were expected to handle has undergone an indisputable transforma-tion. Today?s IT consultants are expected to know how to think in business strategic man-ners as well as the IT strategic manners.

Bakgrund: Business Intelligence är ett avancerat IT-verktyg och BI-branschen är glödhet.Företag konsolideras och nyligen äntrade Microsoft, det enda företaget i världen som anses haen monopolposition, marknaden. Aktörerna på BI-marknaden slår sig för bröstet och hävdaratt de är bäst på att leverera dessa lösningar till företag. BI-verktygen har fleraanvändningsområden bland annat prestationsmätning. En effektiv prestationsmätning kräveren stark koppling mot företagets strategi men studier har identifierat problem i relationenmellan strategi-prestationsmätning-avancerad IT. Det faktum att få studier ha gjorts berörandedet relativt nya begreppet BI och att fler studier behöver göras kring strategiprestationsmätning-avancerad IT-relationen, formulerade vi frågeställningarna: Hur arbetar ettföretag med prestationsmätning och använder de ett BI-verktyg för detta?Syfte: Vi har valt att dela in vår studie i delsyften.Delsyfte 1: Beskriva hur företaget arbetar med ekonomistyrning i allmänhet ochprestationsmätning i synnerhet.Delsyfte 2: Undersöka de bakomliggande faktorerna kring vilken roll Business Intelligence (isamverkan med ERP) spelar i företaget.Metod: Vi använde oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod baserat på fem separata intervjuer.Intervjuerna var närmare bestämt av formen kvalitativa, icke-standardiserade, strukturerare,målinriktade ämnesintervjuer.

Uppsatsen är en reflekterande uppsats som behandlar arbetsprocessen av det verk med samma titel skapat under Vt-2007 på Högskolan i Skövde. Den reflekterande uppsatsen inleds med bakgrund och idé till verket och bearbetar arbetsprocessen från mål, avgränsningar, kontext och avslutas med reflekterande diskussion kring resultatet. Arbetet diskuterar gränssnitt både ur ett generellt perspektiv och även mer precist utifrån tre program som analyseras mer djupgående; The Sims 2 (Electronic Arts, 2004), Planit (Systeam CAB, 2007) och Ikea Home Planner (Ikea, 2006). Dessa program beskrivs närmare i den reflexiva texten. Programmen analyseras utifrån fem punkter med funktioner som är kritiska för en framgångsrik heminredningsklient.

Through the entry of web 2.0 the technologies behind web development has changed dramatically. Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) is the umbrella term for different techniques that make it possible to build rich and interactive user interfaces in today?s web browsers. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) describes how common services can be bundled and published so they can be consumed by different systems.The company Systeam Evolution AB, which has requested this project, wanted a web application that shows a graphical activity chart in order to easier view ongoing projects. The goal for this project is to develop a demo platform that shows how AJAX and SOA can be used to create flexible and reusable applications.

Studiens syfte är att undersöka hur konsulter arbetar med nyttovärdering vid ERPinvesteringar,samt finna kritiska framgångsfaktorer som kan fungera som stöd för ERPkonsulter.Vi har genomfört en fallstudie på Systeam Anderstorp där vi på ett kvalitativt vissamlat in data via dokumentundersökningar, observationer och intervjuer. Vid analys avinsamlad data kunde vi identifiera fem steg en ERP-konsult bör gå igenom för att värderanyttor vid ERP-investeringar. Dessa steg är 1processkartläggning, 2identifiering av nyttor,3värdering av nyttor, 4genomförande och 5uppföljning. Vidare har vi i varje steg kunnatidentifiera kritiska framgångsfaktorer som vi anser kan underlätta en ERP-konsults arbetemed nyttovärdering. Sammanlagt har vi kunnat identifiera fjorton kritiska framgångsfaktorer.De slutsatser vi kunnat dra av denna studie är att befintliga modeller för nyttovärdering ochvärdehemtagning tenderar att bli för teoretiska för att kunna tillämpas i praktiken.

This report is about a thesis that is performed in and for Systeam Engineering AB in Motala. The thesis work is divided into three parts, study of the market, programming and electronics. The study part consists of examining and comparing different data acquisition systems for testing of different circuit boards, taking into account the modularity, real-time applications, mobility, environmental, interface hardware and software, to be able to define a general module-based data acquisition system in both hardware and software that enables for future developments.The programming part consists of getting started with Visual Studio, which integrates the Measurement Studio for C#. NET. Measurement Studio includes classes and user controls for testing and measuring and offers tools for acquisition, analysis and presentation of real world data.

Systeam DTS AB är ett IT-konsultföretag etablerat i Borås. De har cirka 35 anställda,cirka 300 kunder och erbjuder verksamhetsanpassade helhetslösningar inom IT-området.Varje års affärsplan behöver som oftast skrivas ihop under en kort tid vilket medför attunderlaget kanske inte innehåller exakta och uppdaterade uppgifter. Tidsfaktorn påverkaralltså affärsplanens kvalitet.Genom att definiera den typiska kunden till DTS inom modebranschen fastställs likhetermellan kunderna. Därigenom går det att identifiera vilket typ av företag DTS inriktar sigmot och hur mycket pengar det finns kvar att tjäna på dem. Det är nu också möjligt attidentifiera företag som inte är kunder i dagsläget men som har stora likheter med dentypiska kunden, samt hur mycket pengar som finns att tjäna på dem.

Den snabba utvecklingen i affärsvärlden bidrar till att det ständigt sker stora förändringar genom sammanslagningar och uppköp. I den här magisteruppsatsen undersöker vi genom en kvalitativ metod effekterna av aktörernas samspel i samband med ett företagsförvärv. Studien utgår från följande frågeställning: Hur ser aktörernas samspel ut vid ett företagsförvärv och vilka är dess effekter? Studiens syfte är att analysera aktörernas samspel och effekterna av det undersökta fallets förändringsarbete, samt att utifrån det här utreda om det finns ett behov av att förändra implementeringsstrategin vid framtida förvärv.
