Försvarsmaktens förändring genom reformarbetet mot ett insatt insatsförsvar, har lett till ett fokus mot delvis nya uppgifter. Expeditionära operationer är en sådan uppgift, som innebär förändrade krav och förmågor på materiel och personal. Problemet, som uppsatsen vill belysa, är att vid planering och genomförande är taktiska uppgifter i operationsområdet dimensionerande i för hög grad. På det viset läggs inte tillräcklig kraft på hur förbandet ska komma på plats och hur bäst förutsättningar för uthållighet ska säkerställas över tiden. Det är därför angeläget att en noggrann analys genomförs i planläggningsskedet, så att egna kritiska sårbarheter kan identifieras.Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka vilka kritiska sårbarheter som är tydligast ur ett logistiskt perspektiv, vid en vald expeditionär operation.

The Swedish language has for over six hundred years been under influence of foreign languages. Nowadays, it is the English language that undoubtedly affects it in largest scale - even though both French and especially German have had a serious influence through history. In an inquiry by behalf of the Swedish Government, named Mål i mun ? förslag till handlingsprogram för svenska språket (2002), one of the conclusions was that journalism is an important area that has to be under linguistic supervision to avoid a gradual weakening of the Swedish language. It is also a known fact that the Swedish sports writers has a tendency to use a lot of English words, even though there are equivalent Swedish ones applicable.

The aim of this paper is to map and analyze what role Swede's played in King Leopold II's colony in the former Congo Free State. Letters and messages that arrived at the Congo Consulate in Sweden between 1895 and 1906 have been used as the paper's primary sources. Application letters from 32 different Swedes, seeking to join the Congo Free State Army, to the General Consul of the Congo Consulate, Hans Hugold von Schwerin, have been used as primary sources, and constitute the basis of the paper's analysis. The letters arrived at the Congo Consulate in Sweden between 1895 and 1906. The applicants were all men of different social classes, and were between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. Their chief reasons for applying were primarily for own financial gain or because they did not get a chance to serve in the Swedish army.

Benchmarking is an established method of working which is often used in order to develop the quality of the organization. However, almost 70% of the organizations with benchmarking fail due to the lack of planning and structuring of the benchmarking exercise. Maintenance sections in the paper and pulp industry are one of those who have decided to conduct benchmarking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to gain knowledge of how the maintenance sections in the paper and pulp industry deliberately structure and plan to use benchmarking as a driving force for quality development in the maintenance sections.The study is a hermeneutic case study. Telephone interviews and document analysis have been used as data acquisition methods.The results show that there is a lack of both planning and structuring in the benchmarking process, and lack of management commitment for quality improvements within industrial maintenance.

I detta arbete undersöktes och jämfördes begreppskoherens och attityd till fysik bland elever på fysik- respektive naturvetenskapsprogrammet vid gymnasieskolan Polhemskolan i Lund. Begreppskoherensen undersöktes med Force Concept Inventory som är ett omdiskuterat flervalstest från USA som ska mäta studenters begreppskoherens för kraftbegreppet inom den klassiska mekaniken. Eftersom många undersökningar visar att intresset för fysik minskar undersöktes också elevernas attityd till fysik med ett svenskt test av Likertmodell. Undersökningarna gjordes på elever som precis börjat åk 1 och på äldre elever som läst kursen Fysik A inom båda programmen. Resultatet av undersökningarna är att eleverna på fysikprogrammet har större begreppskoherens för kraftbegreppet än eleverna på naturvetenskapsprogrammet och att begreppskoherensen höjs efter Fysik A. Attityden till fysik är dessutom mer positiv på fysikprogrammet men eleverna på naturvetenskapsprogrammet har större spridning i attityd.

The Swedish rules for marrying in Sweden are different for swedish citizens and foreigners. A swedish citizen has to have permission from"Länsstyrelsen"to marry before the age of 18 but a foreigner may marry without permission at an age of 15, unless a higher age is required by the foreign law. The purpose of this study is to investigate how two elementary schools work with Swedish and Swedish as a second language through four teachers thoughts and perceptions. My issues are: How do the teachers perceive the Swedish classes in the school, and how do they perceive that they are conducting it? Which examples of material for teaching do the teachers show me and how do they use it in each school? Do the work with Swedish and Swedish as a second language in the multi-ethnic school and the more mono-ethnic school differ according to how the teachers perceive they are conducting it? Do the teachers think that the equivalent education that is part of the curriculums values and mission always is maintained and why/why not? My study is performed from a sociocultural perspective. My conclusions are that the teachers from the multi-ethnic school are more aware of how to work with Swedish or Swedish as a second language regardless of the students ethnic or national origins. Some aspects of how the teachers work with Swedish are equal with each others, but there are differences to.

Swedish beef production has during the past year decreased while the consumption has increased. It´s imported beef that takes market shares. The purpose with this degreeproject is to investigate if the restaurants in Sweden are using imported or Swedish beef and the reason for their choice. The purpose is to find out if there is something the Swedish beef producers can change to increase Swedish beef in restaurants. My expectation is that the demand for Swedish beef will increase in restaurant and later even among consumers. I have interviewed ten chiefs in different restaurants and asked them the following questions: Is it the price, quality or something else that influences your choise? Does it matter to their customers if they serve Swedish or imported beef? How is the marketing of Swedish beef? It appeared both Swedish and imported beef on the restaurants.
