Barns behov i centrumMaria Schyllander och Julia OlssonDen kvalitativt förankrade studiens syfte var att erhålla fördjupad kunskap kring socialsekreterares uppfattningar gällande dokumentations- och handläggningssystemet BBIC, Barns Behov I Centrum. Studiens frågeställningar fokuserade på att se hur organisation och handlingsutrymme är förenade med arbetet enligt BBIC. Kvalitativa intervjuer med socialsekreterare som arbetar med barnavårdsutredningar genomfördes och data analyserades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys, organisationsteori och handlingsutrymme. Huvudresultatet visade att socialsekreterarna var positivt inställda till att använda ett dokumentationssystem i utredningsarbetet men att BBIC var omfattande och tidskrävande.

The aim of this thesis is to explore and outline the cataloguing of sound recordings at two main Swedish audiovisual archives, The National Archive of Recorded Sound and Moving Images Statens ljud- och bildarkiv, SLBA and The Grammophone Record Archive of the Swedish Radio Sveriges Radios grammofonarkiv and its data base GAMBA. As non-book, non-printed, material in many ways differs from printed material, the institutions that deal with this kind of material have often developed their own rules for the cataloguing of it. The general codes for cataloguing, AACR2 and KRS, are insufficiently suited for audiovisual material. That is the reason why the IASA Cataloguing Rules, presented in this thesis, have been created. After the presentation of the IASA rules the problems of accounting for important sections of the catalogue record are discussed such as title, statement of respeonsbility, performers, physical description and notes.

Competence Portals are software tools that are intended to make it easier for persons that have had no previous contact to find and contact each other. The portals can address areas ranging from finding an expert within an organisation to the marketing of the competence of a region or a research centre to other organisations. The purpose of the thesis is to examine the necessity of Competence Portals in research-intensive organisations. Important characteristics of the information in such portals have been identified and used as a basis for recommendations regarding how Competence Portals could be designed. Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the task of finding a source of knowledge within an organisation.

The background to the work bases on the consumers view around Swedish and foreign meat products, and how the attitude around the meat products is pursued in the shops. The consumers request high meat quality and security . Many consumers value local produced and ecological meat products but the price is too high. We have done verbal interviews with consumers on three different shops, where we asked questions and had dialogues around Swedish meat products where the consumers have told us their arguments and opinions about Swedish and foreign meat. The result shows that the majority of consumers consider that it is important to know that meat is produce in Sweden.

The aim of the study was to examine how Swedish tabloid journalism presented the contestants in the Swedish version of the reality show Idol 2009. We wanted to see which approaches tabloid news papers use when constructing the public identities of them. We have used text analysis to examine 37 articles and nine front pages with focus on the words, propositions, comparisons and parables that describe four of the contestants. In addition we have looked at myths and connotations shown in the pictures by using a semiotic analysis. The results show that the Swedish tabloids tend to describe the contestants in relation to their performances and personalities.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att redogöra för hur ledare och anställda i en distansorganisation kan uppmuntras, via en god kommunikation till att förmedla sin kreativa förmåga. Genom att beskriva hur arbetet med kommunikation sker mellan de båda partnerna, kan vi presentera en förståelse om hur det skapas nya kreativa idéer även när medarbetarna inte är under kontorets tak. Metod: Den metod vi har utgått ifrån är en kvalitativ studie där data har samlats in genom en personlig intervju samt tre stycken telefonintervjuer. Den personliga intervjun genomfördes med KNS Bilfrakt AB ena delägare. Telefonintervjuerna genomfördes på tre lastbilschaufförer inom samma organisation.

In the year 2010 a transition will take place here in Sweden from the present rules how to dimension buildings in to the common rules with have been developed in Europe, the Eurocodes. Eurocode is the term for a collection standard that contains calculation rules in how to dimension constructions and buildings. They are developed by the European standardize committee.The purpose with this examination work is to get an insight of what changes this will contribute to, and how it will affect the dimensioning. Are there going to be any differences in the dimension you finally chose?To investigate these possible differences two constructions will be calculated first in the present Swedish rules, and then in the coming eurocodes.One of these two constructions will be build completely in steel, while the other will be build completely in concrete.

Mot bakgrund av teori och tidigare forskning inom området arbetstillfredsställelse kan antas att en viktig faktor som bidrar till att skapa arbetstillfredsställelse är upplevd delaktighet i arbetet (Spreitzer 2007). Denna studie syftar till att undersöka ett eventuellt samband mellan upplevd delaktighet och arbetstillfredsställelse i en facklig organisation, och om någon aspekt av delaktighet (autonomi, information eller påverkan) har större inflytande på ett eventuellt samband. Studien utfördes genom en enkätundersökning på kansliet hos en facklig organisation (n=53). För att mäta arbetstillfredsställelse användes ett mätinstrument utarbetat av Hellgren, Sjöberg och Sverke (1997). För att mäta upplevd delaktighet användes ett eget mätinstrument som utformats och testats i en pilotstudie.

I denna uppsats har vi undersökt frivillighetsorganisationen Missing People Sweden. Det är en volontärorganisation som anordnar skallgångar efter försvunna personer. Organisationen har varit väldigt framgångsrik med sitt arbete och uppmärksammats en hel del i media. Idag är Missing People Sweden en riksomfattande organisation med verksamhet över hela landet. Denna uppsats består av en kvalitativ metodkombination med personliga intervjuer från volontärer som arbetar inom organisationen samt av deltagande observationer vid en skallgång.

The aim of this essay is to get a view of the contemporary approach to children´s learning and how children´s learning and development are influenced by the preschool year for six- year olds, by analyzing the Swedish curriculum. What is the purpose of the preschool- year for six year-olds? What does the curriculum say about what children need when entering primary school? I also wish to investigate how through the curriculum common norms and standards, as far as children´s learning are concerned, are shown and discussed. My result show that the curriculum does not mention much about the preschool year for six-year-olds at all. It seems that this year in school is not given priority, which makes it difficult for the teachers to work with the children of this age and to know what their assignment is.

Vårt syfte med studien är att belysa det i Borås Stad vräkningsförebyggande arbetets organisation och funktion. Våra frågeställningar utifrån syftet har varit:Är det vräkningsförebyggande arbetet gynnsamt, för vem och varför? Hur ser maktförhållandena ut när det gäller vräkningsförebyggande arbete? Hur kan arbetet utvecklas och på sikt skapa en förändring?Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ studie och använt oss av den kvalitativa metodens semistrukturerade intervju. Vi har valt att belysa vår empiri med hjälp av teoretiska begrepp så som makt, intressentanalys men även organisationsteoretiska begrepp så som ledning och målsättning. De slutsatser vi kommit fram till utifrån empirin är att det i det vräkningsförebyggande arbetet finns flera intressenter vilka på olika sätt gynnas av arbetet.

The Swedish carrot market is dominated by a few big companies and three of them stands for 50 % of the market. During the last twenty years the number of growers has decreased, the area and the harvest have increased. The big producers have invested in advanced and expensive postharvest equipment that fulfils the high standards of the food industry. Few carrot producers are members of an organisation and they keep contacts with there buyers one by one. The buyers are mostly wholesalers and these have during a long period of time decreased the number of suppliers.

En av de viktigaste nycklarna till en lärande organisation, är teamlärande. Samarbetar och arbetar de anställda tillsammans så överstiger det den enskildes kunnande. Facilitatorer arbetar med förändringsprocesser där de anställda utmanas och coachas mot att samverka aktivt för att tillsammans bilda en lärande organisation, där ett mål med processen är att leda organisationer mot att fortlöpande vilja eftersträva förbättringar med andra ord bli en lärande organisation. Det har visat att det finns en viss problematik kring att skapa grupper som frambringar förutsättningar för lärande och utveckling. Vi kände då att vi kunde bidra till den pedagogiska vetenskapen i anknytning till detta problem genom vår studie som riktar sig mot facilitatorns upplevelser av hur de påverkar förutsättningarna för utveckling och lärande i/hos arbetsgrupper.

The purpose with this essay is to get a deeper insight into why there is a lack of male educators in Swedish preschools. I also want to know which role the male educators have in comparison to the female educators. This essay builds on four questions, which covers:The cause of the lack of males in Swedish preschoolsIf there are any gender bound expectations on male educators in the Swedish preschoolsWhat the woman educators perceive about the roles of the male educators in the Swedish preschoolsHow the male educator experience his own work in a workplace dominated by womenThe method I have used is a qualitative interview study in which I have interviewed four male educators and two woman educators from three different preschools. The result of this study shows that male educators gave different reasons to why there is a lack of male educators in Swedish childcare. According to the male educators the reason for this situation is that there is a worry to be seen as a feminine person, get singled out as a pedophile and that the childcare sector has low status.

 The purpose of this case study was to view if there were any differences and similarities between Swedish and American female leaders, with focus on the Swedish female leaders. We also wanted to find out if the American female leaders had problem whit the classcelling.Our case study is a quality method, because we wanted to reach the dep't that quality methods can reach. We interviewed four Swedish female leaders and tried to get in touch whit American female leaders but whit out any success. So instead we analyzed already existing research about the American female leadership. Our result showed that there were some differences between the two countries; in the same time we also found similarities. The classcelling tends to exist more in Sweden than in the US.   .
