Språkutvecklande arbetssätt : En kvalitativ studie om hur lärare arbetar med halvspråkiga elever
The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers conduct their teaching to be language developing, and how they in a practical way work with semi-speaking students who have language deficits in the Swedish language and / or their native language. To carry out this study, I used qualitative interviews as a method and I have interviewed six teachers working at a high school.The school that these teachers work at execute a language developing teaching throughout all the courses in the school. All teachers have a similar idea of what language developing work is, however, how they go about and what is emphasized most in the teaching differs. The reason for this is because these teachers have different experiences with the language developing teaching. These professionals agree that this approach is very important and that all teachers, regardless of subject, should work in a language developing way, in parallel with the rest of their subjects.

Building Automation Systems in commercial buildings are often designed and installed by different contractors, using equipment and components from different manufacturers. The lack of an accepted communication standard has resulted in a few different standards. Many manufacturers of building automation systems only support one, a few or none of these standards, while developing proprietary system solutions. Regin, who develop such equipment, are planning to adopt an open communication protocol specially designed for building automation - BACnet. As a step in that direction this thesis was announced with the purpose to investigate the possibility to implement BACnet in one of their products and to gain more knowledge of the BACnet protocol.
Virtuella organisationers betydelse för integrering av affärsprocesser i B2B-företag
Med tanke på att kraven ställs allt högre på dagens företag och organisation, vill det till att företag är flexibla och konkurrenskraftiga. Kraven på effektivisering av affärsprocesser ökar markant för att ständigt förbättra arbetssituationen i organisationer. Detta examensarbete behandlar ämnet virtuell organisation och dess betydelse i integrering av affärsprocesser i B2B-företag.Undersökningen är gjord i form av intervjuer, där sju företag medverkade. Arbetet syftar till att klargöra i hur stor utsträckning det virtuella arbetssättet används i B2B-företag, gällande affärsprocesser. Syftet med detta arbeta är att undersöka ifall affärsprocesser i B2B-företag har inslag av egenskaper som kännetecknar en virtuell organisation.Resultatet visar att integrering av affärsprocesser i B2B-företag har stora inslag av egenskaper som kännetecknar en virtuell organisation..
A Long Day?s Journey into Night ? examining the Swedish model, present and future
In this essay we strive to examine how the social work in Sweden will be affected if the Swedish welfare model goes through fundamental changes. The study illuminates the close connection between the Swedish collective bargaining model and the Swedish welfare system. The questions we present in this essay, and hopefully answer satisfactory, are: is the Swedish welfare model subject to thorough changes? How will such a change alter the social work in Sweden?, is the Swedish collective bargaining model in a state of modification? Would a modification in the collective bargaining model have effects on the Swedish welfare model?We have used a qualitative method in collecting empirical material. We interviewed three representatives, who worked for Confederation of Swedish Enterprise, IF Metall and The Swedish Municipal Workers respectively.
Inkluderande organisation? : En intervjustudie kring hur rektorer organiserar undervisning för grundsärskoleelever samt hur de definierar och resonerar kring begreppet inkludering.
Syftet med denna studie är att få kunskap om rektorers syn på organisation av undervisning för grundsärskoleelever samt rektorernas definitioner av begreppet inkludering med hänseende på en skola för alla. Bakgrunden till undersökningen är att det i dag finns många olika sätt att organisera undervisning för grundsärskoleelever och att flertalet rektorer anger att deras organisation är inkluderande. Vad menar de då med att organisationen är inkluderande?Studien är genomförd som en intervjustudie. Urvalet baserades på jämnstora kommuner inom länet samt på kommunernas beskrivning av sin organisation av grundsärskolan på respektive kommuns hemsida.
Krav på redovisning och prestation: En studie om hur en insamlingsorganisation hanterar externa krav
Much attention has been directed to Charity Foundations and how they use the donations given to them. Donators and external organisations put pressure on and evaluate the performance of Charity Foundations. The purpose of this thesis is to increase the understanding of how Charity Foundations handle the pressure from external parties through a qualitative case study of one Swedish Charity Foundation. The most important external factors have been identified and the accountability relationships between each party and the Charity Foundation have been examined. The empirical material was collected through semi-structured interviews and from written sources.
Internationell harmonisering av redovisningsnormer - en studie av skillnaderna mellan svenska rekommendationer och International Accounting Standards samt orsakerna till dessa skillnader
Syfte:Att kartlägga vilka skillnader som föreligger mellan IASCs standards och Redovisningsrådets rekommendationer samt att fastställa i vilken utsträckning dessa förklaras av svensk lagstiftning eller av andra faktorer. Metod:Först har en empirisk undersökning i form av en dokumentstudie genomförts under vilken skillnader identifierats och grunden lagts för fortsatt undersökning av orsakerna till dessa. Sedan har en kvalitativ studie av skillnaderna genomförts, understödd av en dokumentstudie, under vilken förklaringsfaktorerna framkommit och fastställts.Slutsatser: Vi finner att svensk lagstiftning inte förklarar alla de skillnader som föreligger mellan de båda regelverken. Ett tiotal övriga faktorer är troliga förklaringsfaktorer; av vilka de mest framträdande är sambandet mellan redovisning och beskattning, förekomsten av ett redovisningsteoretiskt ramverk, försiktighets- och matchningsprincipen, principen om rättvisande bild samt principen om öppenhet i finansiella rapporter..
Usability för svenska folkbibliotek : En undersökning av svenska folkbiblioteks datorsystem med hänsyn till användarvänlighet.
The aim of this essay is to examine three separate Swedish public libraries and their respective websites on the grounds of the usability sciences. I firstly had to summarize the main properties of the usability-field in order to gain an extended knowledge of its purposes and possible usage for today?s library systems. I was then able to apply the extended knowledge in the examination of the three library websites and the purpose of determining whether or not they were designed according to the standards set by the usability-sciences.Usability is a rather new science that deals with the dissection and examination of computer-based systems, in order to find the key components that make systems user-friendlier. With user needs being the main focus of its research, usability tries to meet all the different needs of the modern user and construct systems that are less system-centered and more user-centered.

This essay is about leadership in libraries within the academic world, i.e. leadership in research libraries. To place our survey in a context we begin the theoretical review with a chapter about organisation theory. We dont think its possible to separate the leader from the organisation so we wanted to describe the organisation and its effect on the leadership. The next theoretical section is about leadership research.
Dialog och delaktighet : en studie om balanserad stryrning i praktiken och dess påverkan på verksamheters lärande och utveckling
Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur en balanserad styrning i praktiken påverkar verksamheters lärande och utveckling, samt hur en balanserad styrning i praktiken påverkar verksamheters förutsättningar att bli en lärande organisation. Balanserad styrning är en svensköversatt modell av balanced scorecard, en amerikansk styrform. Det teoretiska perspektivet i studien är miljöpedagogik och lärande organisation. Studien bygger på en hermeneutisk tolkande ansats, vilket syftar till att här skapa förståelse för hur en balanserad styrning fungerar i praktiken avseende lärande och utveckling samt hur den skapar förutsättningar för att bli en lärande organisation. Intervjuer har använts som datainsamlingsmetod, respondenter från två kommuner har intervjuats, och i varje kommun har en enhetschef och två medarbetare intervjuats.

Implementation of a quality management system in food production
The aim of this study was to investigate how the process of implementing a quality management system for food safety was handled in four different food producing companies in Sweden. The aim was also to analyze what difficulties the companies face and the possibilities that arise when certified. Furthermore, the reason for implementation was discussed as well as the main expectations on the certificate. Implementing a quality management system is a good way of ensuring the quality and hygiene of the food production and it also increases the traceability of food products through the whole food chain. A food safety standard provides a method of preventing problems and crisis and it can also help to handle requirements from authorities, the market and others.
Systemen med rätt inställning - En studie om whistleblowingsystem i Sverige
In order to counteract and to discover unethical actions within an organisation, a growing number of Swedish companies implement a so-called whistleblowing system. The purpose of our essay is to study the mindset of companies and further analyse how this mindset affects the design and quality of companies' whistleblowing systems. To do this, we have used a qualitative approach by interviewing different Swedish companies about their mindsets and systems. The study determines that there seemingly are three different categories of systems of varying quality. In this study we have chosen to call them "internal system", "external system" and "combined system".
Finns det någon som lyssnar?: -Om kunskapsspridning vid repatriering
The purpose of this thesis is to study how organisations are working with repatriation of employees who have been working abroad, especially regarding how their experiences and competences are being utilised and transferred within the company. A qualitative abductive method is used, since the aim is to obtain an understanding of this phenomenon. The main source of information has been 21 interviews. The interviews were executed in two steps; a preliminary study with nine Swedish organisations was followed by our main study, containing 12 interviews with repatriates, their colleagues, and personnel employed at the International Assignment departments at Scania and Volvo. The conclusion of this thesis is that large Swedish companies, which have Swedish employees working abroad do not seem to be working with repatriation according to suggestions given by the theories, even though their performances are better than earlier research implies.
