Uppsatsen syfte är att analysera förändringarna hos tre mikrofinansiella organisationer då de gjorde ett inträde på aktiemarknaden. Fem kritiska punkter behandlas; antalet låntagare, hur fattiga låntagarna är, återbetalningsfrekvensen, ränteförändringar och vinstförändringar. Studien är begränsad till tre år - året före inträdet, inträdesåret samt året efter inträdet. Resultatet av studien visar att samtliga har ökat antal låntagare i och med IPO men endast Compartamos har fortsatt att öka året efter IPO, både SKS och Banco Sol har minskat antalet. Kritiken gällande nivå av fattigdom stämmer endast överens med Banco Solidario, enligt min studie hjälper de endast mindre fattiga människor. Att återbetalningsfrekvensen skulle vara sämre hos de kommersiella stämmer inte med någon av organisationerna.

This essay is about integration of theoretical subjects and practical subjects at the vocational training education in a Swedish Upper secondary school. The purpose of the essay was to examine if integration of the subjects increases the students` motivation for, interest in and knowledge of the subject Swedish. Other purposes were to examine how the teachers organize their teaching of Swedish in order to adjust it to the students? interests and to examine the students? attitude towards Swedish as a subject.The essay also describes the recent development of the vocational training education of Swedish Upper secondary school and presents theories about learning and other examinations about teaching of theoretical subjects at the vocational training education.The examination carried through with a questionnaire which was distributed to the students at three programs at the school and interviews with the headmaster and two teachers. The result of the study showed that a small majority of the students believe that integration increases their motivation in and knowledge of Swedish.

These distributors have been affected negatively by the internationalization which has made it possible for international distributors to establish their stores in the Swedish market. These international distributors are focused on low price stores. Their establishment on the Swedish market has led to a decrease in market shares for the Swedish distributors, which has damaged their profitability. Another change that has affected the Swedish distributors is that the behavior and needs of the customers has changed.

Background: During the 2000s, there has been an increased interest in studying business management and strategy implementation with customer focus in public organisations. To achieve business goals it is important to continuously work with strategies to meet customerdemands for increased efficiency and service. Purpose: The aim of the essay is to examine how to work on strategy implementation in a municipal real estate company from a management perspective in order to achieve overall goals. Method: The study?s methodology is a case study based on qualitative telephone interviews that were conducted with representatives in managerial positions from various levels of the company. The choice of the qualitative data was considered relevant in relation to the chosen topic of the thesis. The empirical data was then compared to the theoretical framework of the thesis. Results: Strategies guide the company to achieve the overall goals, which are later on broken down into operational targets.

The Civil Engineering office in Skellefteå needs to develop the users' participation in the planning of parks and playgrounds. In order to get such a procedure to work one have to find a method that can work in the daily activity. My work aims to find such a method and to implement it in practice. Apart from helping the Parks departement to find an functional method I will also develop a deepened knowledge about users?participation wich can be very useful i my future profession. This work can be divided in three stages.

This paper deals with the use of Internet at Swedish public libraries. The author asks whether public libraries should or should not limit access to information available on the Internet. Starting from the American discussion, concerning Internet at public libraries, the author shows the Swedish attitudes. The paper demonstrates that many Swedish public libraries have adopted rules forbidding retrieval of certain kinds of information, such as hard-core pornography and racist propaganda. The persons in charge of such actions claim that public libraries should provide high-quality educational literature and should not spread mass-produced, provocative information.

Gendered reading has a history of intense debate and negotiation. In this essay I will examine how feminine and masculine reading was construed in the early 19th century through three Swedish texts that all give a didactic, moral and instructive opinion about gendered reading. They consist of an advice manual, a collection of letters and a periodical featuring an assortment of suitable reading material, all published between the years of 1808-1815 and directed to a female audience. As the male sex was generally considered the invisible, desirable norm and the female sex tended to be viewed as deviant and problematic, gendered discussions are inclined to focus on the latter. I will argue that female reading is largely construed in relation to the bourgeois marriage while the male is construed in terms of citizenship.

At the turn of the century 18/1900 Swedish law looked upon young people as being adults at about the age of 15. At 15, the young person had left school, had his first employment and provided for himself and also had been confirmed to full membership of the Swedish State Church. Thus he was to be considered an adult and responsible for his actions. Parents, society/school and Church had done what was expected of them and now it was up to the 15-years old to live according to the laws and to be punished if the laws were broken. Over the following hundred years, at the time of the millennium, Swedish society changed a lot.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att studera upplevda tillväxtutmaningar utifrån en företagsledares perspektiv. Genom fokus på tillväxtfasen skildras omfattningen och betydelsen av de hinder som tidigare forskning behandlat. Metod: Studien har en teoretisk grund som vi har använt oss av när vi genomfört individuella intervjuer med utvalda företagsledare i gasellföretag. Dessa teorier har även använts som grund till analysen. Det teoretiska samt empiriska materialet är sammanställt under respektive kapitel. Slutsatser: Det teoretiska materialet påvisar de utmaningar som företag möter under tillväxtfasen. Trots sin starka tillväxt under kort tid har samtliga av de intervjuade gasellföretagen upplevt något av utmaningarna.

When traffic in large cities increases, it becomes more vulnerable to disturbances such as accidents, stalled vehicles or construction; therefore, traffic jams are more likely to occur. For better control of the traffic at a disturbance the Swedish National Road Administration (SNRA) has traffic equipment which can be controlled from a command centre. This traffic equipment consists of gates and signs with variable messages. This report will discuss the system used for traffic control in Stockholm. It will present proposals designed to improve it.

Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka om chefer verkligen har så stor betydelse som den allmänna uppfattningen tillskriver dem, och vi gör undersökningen med särskilt hänseende till bibehållandet av företagskulturen då ett företag expanderar till nya marknader. Vi tar reda på och klargör chefens betydelse för bibehållandet av företagskulturen vid företagsexpansion. Metod: För att studera förhållandet mellan chef och företagskultur intervjuade vi fem chefer i personliga intervjuer respektive per telefon, om deras erfarenheter vid företagsexpansioner. Genom att göra det lade vi den empiriska grunden för den analys vi därefter genomförde via kultur- och ledarskapsteorier vi fann i litteraturstudien. Slutsatser: Vår slutsats är att ledaren som levt och verkat i företagskulturen har stor betydelse för företagskulturbevarande vid företagsexpansioner, då denne vet vad företaget vill förmedla till de nyanställda. There are more and more elderly people and different diseases will affect them. How will the public care be able to face this need of care for the elderly? There are a lot that shows that there will be an increasing demand on the achievements of the relatives. How can this development be answered to? Shall the achievements be concentrated on giving support to the relatives, or will there be a concentration on nursing staff? The purpose of the study was to enlighten who elderly people will be nursed by if a disease affects them.

Försvarsmakten sköter praktiskt taget all distribution av drivmedel till de interna kunderna. Inom Försvarsmakten finns planer om att undersöka om detta drivmedelsarbete sköts effektivast inom försvaret, eller om externa leverantörer kan göra det bättre. Innan beslut tas skall det undersökas hur det går till i nuläget samt vilka förbättringar som kan göras på det egna arbetet. Resultatet av detta skall sen tas med vid jämförelsen med de externa leverantörernas förslag. Detta projekt beskriver hur drivmedelsarbetet sköts inom Försvarsmaktens logistik.

The Swedish armed forces are facing a change, a change in both organization and profession. From a conscript military service system, the Swedish Armed Forces has changed to having full-time contracted soldiers. Conscript military service has a history of over a hundred years; it was introduced in 1901 and has survived two world wars and the Cold War.The Swedish armed forces have changed to have contracted soldiers. My reflection is whether the armed forces really have had time for this changes that the new professionalization has meant. Today the Swedish armed forces consists of contracted soldiers, soldiers who are employed full time and costs the armed forces a lot of money.
