This essay will focus on the people using and are involved in, and have a large interest in the horror film genre. The purpose of this essay is to find what urge these people to continuously watch horror movies and how they believe to be acknowledge by the society in a modern sense. Our study is mainly based on two separate interviews and therefore, mainly from the users perspective. This essay is also complemented by earlier research on this topic. In context of stigma, violence debate, exclusion we found that the users truly can be found in a rare type of alternative sphere, besides the public sphere.

Syftet med rapporten är att jämföra spansk byggteknik kontra svensk byggteknik och granska likheter och skillnader mellan dessa. Många av oss svenskar är bosatta i andra länder bland dessa Spanien och många avstår från att bygga sitt hus och istället väljer de att köpa hus.Detta har sitt grund i att det inte finns tillräckligt med information som underlättar att genomföra ett bygge trots att många av dessa människor har byggt sitt hus själva här hemma i Sverige.Vi hoppas verkligen att vår undersökning blir grund till att allt fler med hjälp av dessa undersökningar och fakta lättare ska kunna bygga sitt hus i Spanien som länge har varit ett favoritmål för oss som älskar värme och glädje..

The purpose of this essay is to investigate Swedish as a second language acquisition in a group of students with diverse culturul backgrounds. my intension is to find out if a dialogical posture in teaching with focus on the students earlier knowledge,experianses, thoughts and feelings, will contribute to a teaching enviroment where the students can express them selves and listen to each other. the teachers task is to help the students to explore their own thinking.According to the theoretical base of the essay, sucessfull second language asquisition occours in a meaningsfull context through dialogue and interaction between students and teacher as well as between student and student.I have used a qualitative method consisting in participating as a teacher in this group of second language learners during four lessons, observing, taking notes and writing diary. The teaching material used during the lessons was a book (fiction but based on a true story) and the dialogue in the group proceeded from the story we read together..

Recent studies show that the knowledge in and understanding of science, technology andmathematics of Swedish junior high school and high school students is decreasing. As a resultof this the Swedish government has initialized several studies, research and reforms. One ofthe theories for teaching that today is seen as effective is the socio-cultural perspective and itsdescendants, including scientific inquiry. Using the pedagogy of the socio-cultural perspectivefour assignments regarding the human body was constructed for junior high school studentsattending summer research school in the summer of 2008, hosted by AstraZeneca. Theassignments follow a structure (goal of assignment, preparations, experiment and follow-up)inspired by the concept of NTA ? Naturvetenskap och Teknik för Alla (Science andTechnology for everyone).

The aim of the thesis is to study young peoples, defined as boys and girls between 14 and 16 years old, attitudes to library in two municipalities. Notwithstanding the fact that young people, and children, often is given priority in library work, the reality often seems to be another. Attitudes are founded primarily in childhood and therefore it is of great importance to examine how young people regard libraries. Besides studying former research about young people and libraries that has been performed on library and information science, we also have been using concepts and theories from social science. We give a brief outline of youth research and its development and look at official records and legislation to see if and in what context young people are mentioned.

Abstract The purpose of this essay is to find difficulties and risks in the re-engineering process when restructuring to Model-View-Controller (MVC). A thoroughly theory study has been conducted to be able to understand the important steps in the re-engineering process. The methods and concepts of this essay are re-engineering, UML, system development life cycle, design patterns and MVC. The science approach used is design science where the artifact being developed are a set of models.In the analysis phase of the process the system is analyzed. The result of the analysis is notes of difficulties found and models showing the structure of the system.

Historiskt sett har begreppet corporate governance, med svensk term bolagsstyrning, endast haft sekundär betydelse inom det ekonomiska området. Under de senaste åren har dock bolagsstyrning utvecklats till ett av näringslivets viktigaste fokus. För den breda massan är det främst redovisningsskandalerna under början av 2000-talet som bidragit till den allmänna diskussionen. Corporate governance handlar dock till stor del om att styra bolag så att de uppfyller ägarnas krav på avkastning och därigenom bidrar till samhällsekonomisk effektivitet och tillväxt, dvs. en utgångspunkt utöver kriminella handlingar och bedrägligt beteende.

I den föreliggande studien diskuteras och undersöks olika aspekter av lärandet som sker på ett science center. I arbetets empiriska del undersöks om elever från skolår 4 till gymnasiets år 3 lär sig något om hur fotosyntesen går till, genom att spela det dataspel som heter Fotosyntesen. Totalt ingick i studien 182 elever, uppdelade på tre åldersklasser. Alla deltagande elever fick svara på en enkät med frågor om fotosyntesen. Hälften av dem fick först spela Fotosyntesen.

Abstract The 1st of January 2009 there will be a new discrimination law in Sweden. That means that the Parliament finally will interpret three EC-directives in there entirety. The new law means that the present discrimination laws will be merged to one law. The situation for disabled persons on the labour market has improved, since the discrimination law was founded in 1999. The Labour Court got some cases to judge and media has attracted attention to disabled persons rights.

Syftet med studien är att utforska och förstå de resonemang lesbiska par begagnar sig av i beslutsfattandet om reproduktionsmetod. Här ingår även berättelser kring de erfarenheter paren har av möten med professionella inom svensk sjukvård och myndighetsutövning. Studien består av tio intervjuer med lesbiska par, vilka har fått barn inom den offentliga sjukvården sedan detta blev tillgängligt den 1 juli år 2005. Materialet har analyserats med hjälp av kvalitativ metod i det diskursanalytiska fältet.Resultatet visar att parens beslut har föregåtts av en process där alternativ har vägts mot varandra. Här återfinns två typer av tolkningsrepertoarer där svensk sjukvård har fått företräde på grundval av externa omständigheter.

Uppsatsen är genomförd utifrån hermeneutikens kvalitativa metod, där vår förhoppning har varit att uppnå en ökad förståelse kring pedagogernas förhållningssätt till integration i skolan. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka vad lärare på de besökta skolorna har för förhållningssätt till integration i skolan utifrån två perspektiv svenskhet kontra mångfald. Studien genomfördes men hjälp av intervjufrågor eftersom respondenterna då ges möjlighet att med egna ord presentera sina tankar kring ämnet för studien. Det vi kom fram till i denna studie är att språket är en viktig beståndsdel i integrering avelever oavsett om det är en mångkulturell skola, en skola med kulturella olikheter, eller en svensk skola, en skola med elever med få kulturella olikheter. Elevernas bakgrund ska inte ha någon betydelse när det gäller bemötandet eller bedömningen utan den ska vara likvärdig oavsett om det är en elev med annan bakgrund än svensk eller en elev med svensk bakgrund.

This Batchelor?s Thesis concerns 20 points at the MDA-program (People, Computers and Work) at Blekinge Institute of Technology in Ronneby, Sweden. 10 points concerns Computer Science and 10 points Human Work Science. The thesis is about the process of starting a new department of Blekingesjukhuset [Blekinge Hospital] in Karlshamn, Blekinge called Sjukvårdsrådgivningen [Health Care Advice Bureau]. The thesis starts with a description of the ethnographical methods used, followed by the process of establishing the department.

The aim of this study is to analyze the process of an agenda setting and see how a specific issue came to materialize on the security policy agenda. The empirical goal of the study is to see why Sweden chose to participate in the EU-led operation to Chad, and how that process came to be? The analysis is based upon Kingdon's multiple streams theory (2003) where he distinguishes the process into three streams. Central for his theory is the coupling of these streams and the importance of a policy entrepreneur. I complement Kingdon's theory of policy entrepreneurs by taking inspiration from Hinnfors (1995), Gustavsson (1999) and especially Eriksson (2000) and their analysis of policy change and agenda setting.
