Problem och bakgrund: Fram till för ett antal år sedan fokuserade forskare inom Supply ChainManagement på frågor som miljö, säkerhet och sociala rättigheter separat, utan att titta på vadinteraktion mellan dessa frågor kunde innebära för företag. Sedan dess har mängder av akademiskaartiklar skrivits som behandlar hållbar utveckling sett ur ett helhetsperspektiv där ekonomiska,miljömässiga och sociala strategier behandlas tillsammans för att uppnå största möjliga nytta i företagsleverantörskedjor. Dessa har sedermera mynnat ut i ett koncept som benämns Sustainable SupplyChain Management (SSCM). I ljuset av detta ämnar rapporten besvara två frågor: (i) Vilkanyckelområden består ämnesdisciplinen SSCM av? och (ii) i vilken utsträckning arbetar svenskaföretag som anses vara goda exempel inom arbete med hållbar utveckling med SSCM i sinverksamhet?Syfte: Syftet med rapporten är att redogöra för vilka nyckelområden forskningsdisciplinen SSCMbestår av.

The aim of this paper is to study whether the way directioners (One Direction fans) on Twitter express self-understandings denote fandom as a sacred experience. For this purpose, the data was analyzed in relation to Nicholas Jay Demerath III typology of the varieties of the sacred experience. The method used was discursive psychology. The data was analyzed by how the fans draw the line between ?us? and ?them?, when expressing their self-understandings and their position in relation to others. Five themes were identified: (1) positioning and demarcation for membership, (2) group identity, (3) conflict, (4) the norms for behavior, opinions and language and (5) the group?s role and function.

Denna uppsats utgår ifrån att människans aktiviteter påverkar miljö och naturresurser negativt. Generellt har företag en mer betydande miljöpåverkan än enskilda personer och det är därför viktigt att de tar sitt miljömässiga ansvar (Ammenberg, 2003). Ett sätt att göra det är att arbeta med miljöledningssystem, MLS. Det MLS som används mest globalt sett är International Organization for Standardizations miljöledningssystem ISO 14001. Antal företag och organisationer som är certifierade med ISO 14001 räknas som en indikator på hållbar utveckling i Sverige (www, Statistiska centralbyrån, 2010).

Following study is about the anorexic behavior and the pro-ana movement, which is a web-based subculture where the followers of this, stands for anorexia as an identity position and lifestyle, rather than a disease. The purpose of this study was that, from a sociological perspective give possible interpretations of the anorexic behavior, and interpret why some anorexics choose to be a part of and identify oneself with the pro-ana movement. The reason has been to conduce more knowledge and understanding of the topics, but also to contribute with a deeper perspective and sociological approach to the former research that is already available.To conduct the study, qualitative research has been used, and the chosen methodology was document analysis/text analysis. The collected empirical data consisted material from two pro-ana forums, four blogs and six twitter accounts, where all the users of those claimed to be supporters of the pro-ana. The empirical data has been interpreted by Howard S.

The purpose of this study was to investigate youth?s experiences of what meaning the nonprofit youth project Husby Marathon had on their social capital and self-identity. In order to answer the purpose a qualitative methodology was used based on interviews with four of the participant youths. Two teories were used, Social capital by Robert D. Putnam and Selfidentity by Anthony Giddens.

The mobile development also means more challenges and changes in today?s modern organizations.The purpose of this paper is to analyse how employees in a consulting form use mobile technology in a work context, how they interact with others and how individuals reason about mobility.

Ohälsosamma levnadsvanor ökar risken för sjukdom och död. Hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar, cancer och diabetes typ-2 är exempel på sjukdomar som kan undvikas genom en förbättrad livsstil. En viktig roll i sjuksköterskans arbete är att undervisa patienter i hur de kan förändra sin livsstil och ta ansvar för sin egenvård. Syftet med den här studien var att belysa sjuksköterskans roll i patientundervisning med fokus på livsstilsförändring. Studien gjordes i form av en litteraturstudie där grunden för resultatet utgjordes av 11 vetenskapliga artiklar.

Background: More than half of the elderly (65-84 years) in Sweden have problems with hearing. In some studiesit?s discussed if age related hearing loss or presbyacusis is a part of natural aging or if it depends on underlyingfactors.The purpose of this literature study was to analyse scientific papers which illustrate correlations between lessknown underlying factors and presbyacusis, defined from psychoacoustic and/or neurofysiological tests.Material and method; Literature study where scientific papers, relevant to the purpose of the study and thequestions at issue were found in the database PubMed.The result shows that cardiovascular disease, hormones, diet and drugs have an influence on presbyacusis. Thehealth condition of the individual and their lifestyle matters, likewise estrogen which according to the results of 2studies has a protective effect on hearing.Conclusion; The studies show that heart attack and high systolic blood pressure in women have a correlation topresbyacusis, but not in men, - the hormone estrogen, - some vitamins, antioxidants and diet have a protectiveeffect on hearing and studies show that smoking and alcohol have negative effects..

In Gällivare municipality there is a drogpolitical plan which goal is to provide parentsupport for the municipalities parents, make sure the children get a schooling that is evolving and to provide a vide variety of activities for the children?s free time. There should be a possibility for children to have healthy second natures. There should also exist environments that are free from alcohol. At those restaurants that serve alcohol a responsible serving of alcohol should be performed.

Our study is focused on how the public sector can collaborate with the private sector on a certain issue. The public sector wanted to create a project to increase bicycling in the municipality of Kalmar. Our problem was to develop a sustainable way to collaborate between the two parties. We managed to present a suggestion on how the public sector with communication could improve their Public Relations with the private sector and therefore letting the parties benefit from their differences, thus making it possible to release synergy.Using semi-structured interviews and a workshop, we could clarify the values and attitudes of the parties to bring forth the core values to develop a shared vision. Where the identified differences were found, we used a dialog strategy based on intercultural conflict management as a communication tool.

Traditionally, it has been argued that companies are only responsible towards their shareholders, to maximize the profits. But lately it has changed into another way of responsibilty. It has become of great importance to demonstrate sustainable long-term values for stakeholders to identify with. This thesis aims to clarify the banks? definition of responsible investment and what criteria they assume when talking about such kind of investments.

As a public nurse there is a great probability that you will meet patients that have had a myocardial infarction. We want to contribute to create a greater understanding of how a nurse can support and understand these people. The last 30 years the infarction care has made a big progress. Still many conceptions remain which means that for many people a myocardial infarction leads to a belief that this is the end of the working life, social life, sparetime activities and travelling. Due to this misbelief it is important that the nurse creates good conditions for the patient right from the start.

The purposeof this study was to investigate whether preschool staff who participated in a previous health project retains the good behavior change, and to explore their perceived barriers and opportunities for this. The study was conducted on a "feel good" preschool and the selected population was preschool teachers and/or child minders. The selected method was qualitative, descriptive, and through the interviews the respondents got questions about their behavior changes and their experiences of this. The result of the survey showed that nearly all of the participants in the study had maintained the good behavior changes and most of them had implemented them in their lives. The obstacles that individuals perceived were mainly time constraints and the opportunities they saw were planning, motivation and positive experience.

Tolerance and resistance are two different defence mechanisms within the immune system that differ from each other in many ways: However it is not clear which of the two is the most advantageous in dairy production. Resistance is described as the ability to fight a pathogen in a host. Tolerance is, on the other hand, not aggressive to the pathogen per se, but rather protects the host and its tissues. Furthermore tolerance rather offsets the toxin from, for example, a parasite whilst resistance offsets the parasite itself. Resistance is however disease specific, which means breeding for a large number of diseases is needed in order to make resistance worth the cost for the host.
