Kvarteret Flaggskepparen, Industriellt byggande för offentligt ägda bostäder -En fallstudie i samarbete med NCC Komponent och MKB

The primary focus of this Master thesis is to study how industrial house building can be implemented during production of rental flats under the terms of public procurement. In order to determine a suitable working process as well as presenting a possible architectonic result of the process, a case study is carried through.A housing projekt is designed on a site i Malmö, where the commisioner is MKB Fastighets AB and the contractor is NCC Komponent with the industrial building system NCC Komplett. The focus of the design is to accomplish high quality apartments to a resonable price, as well as solving the overall scheme for the site.The housing projekt, Kv. Flaggskepparen, built on the consept of a single house model, used to handle the entire site, shows that the building system is well suited to accomodate the commisioners demands.In order to reach the best possible architectonic result with the building system, cooperation initiatded in an early stage of the process is neccesary.A model is proposed to handle the situation under the terms of public procurement. The model suggest that the geometrical design is mainly carried out after inquiry and that architectonic qualities should mainly be defined in a non geometrial way for inquiry..

Value stream mapping is a tool that is frequently used by many different companies. It is a great tool used to achieve the work that follows the theories of lean production. The tool is used, however, only frequent on the factory floor and the method is also designed based on this type of use.An interest of applying the method on administrative parts of the company has occurred lately. Administrative parts of the company refers to the part that does all the planning such as purchasing, receiving orders, customer contact, contact with factory floor and other work that is made around the actual manufacturing. But the knowledge about applying value stream mapping on the planning part of the company is lacking because the method is relatively new.In this work, a comparison is made between the introduction of value stream analysis on production and planning.

BORGMÄSTAREBRYGGAN - En studie av en offentlig plats attraktivitet och tillgänglighet

Syftet med detta arbete är att studera ur olika synvinklar vad som gör en plats attraktiv och tillgänglig. Arbetet utgår från en fallstudie av det planerade kajstråket Borgmästarebryggan i Karlskrona. Genom analyser av resultaten från inventeringar, observationsstudier, intervjuer, dokumentsanalyser och beprövad praktik undersöks de bakomliggande faktorerna till Borgmästarebryggan, planens överensstämmelse med kommunens mål för att skapa en attraktiv och tillgänglig plats. Därefter kommer en kritisk läsning av planförslaget att utföras med grund i forskning och teorier om attraktivitet och tillgänglighet. Borgmästarebryggans tänkta utformning skapar många goda förutsättningar för att bli en attraktiv och tillgänglig plats för allmänheten.

Frihamnen - ett planförslag

Frihamnen är ett mycket centralt beläget, gammalt handelshamnsområde, i Göteborg, som angränsar Hisingen i norr och Göta älv i söder. Området var en gång i tiden sveriges största och enda oceanhamn. När varvskrisen slog till under 70-talet drabbades Frihamnen hårt, likt många andra hamnar. Varvet och hamnverksamheten avvecklades successivt och kvar blev en stor yta mark som frigjordes för andra ändamål. Sedan dess har diverse företag huserat i de kvarvarande byggnaderna och området har haft, och har fortfarande, funktion som arbetsplats. Idag är Frihamnen en del av Göteborgs Stads utvecklingsområde Centrala Älvstaden, vilket är det gemensamma namnet för Norra Älvstranden och Södra Älvstranden. Arbetet med Frihamnen är i dagsläget i ett undersökande stadie och inga konkreta planer har ännu arbetats fram..

Avsikten med detta examensarbete är att utreda möjligheterna för och föreslå lämplig bebyggelse i Västra Sörhaga, Alingsås. Vid en första anblick ser Västra Sörhaga ut att sträcka ut sig över ett mycket stort område. Men Västra Sörhaga begränsas också av flera faktorer. Jag kommer i detta arbete visa hur den byggbara marken för bostäder reduceras av olika omständigheter och hur dessa kan återerövras..

Allergifritt hus

This report consists of two parts, out of which the first deals with the planning and designing ofa small house in the Swedish city of Huddinge, using the weather conditions of the Swedish cityof Malmö. The house has to be in accordance with the Swedish building- and constructionregulations, as well as with the limitations in energy consumption given.The house itself has to consist of at least two bedrooms, and blueprints of the house, variousconstructional elements, ventilation, sanitation and electricity have to be drawn. Calculations ofthese aspects also have to be made, to ascertain that the different parts function as they should,and that the dimensions are sufficient.The second part is called ?Allergy free home?, and investigates how indoor climate affects us,and whether it has changed during the last few decades. It also makes an effort to see whetherthe increase of allergies and asthma is correlated with possible changes in indoor climate, andwhether technical solutions might help to handle or even decrease the issues arisen.

Har de modernistiska principerna med industriellt byggande, funktionsuppdelning och trafikseparering skapat en monoton bebyggelsekaraktär, brist på mötesplatser och brist på lokal kommers? Mitt antagande är att detta är fallet och frågan blir då hur vi kan utveckla möjligheterna för att skapa fler mötesplatser och en dynamisk lokal kommersiell verksamhet? På vilket sätt går det att öka variationen av bebyggelse och lägenheter? Är det önskvärt att överhuvudtaget ändra i en redan befintlig miljö med strikt hierarkisk struktur? Examensarbetet kan ses som en pusselbit i det kreativa och långsiktiga arbetet med att skapa en vision för stadsdelen Rosengård i Malmö. Jag vill redan från början slå fast att jag inte syftar till att skapa ett universellt verktyg för att lösa brister i miljonprogrammets bostadsområden. Jag utgår från projektområdets speciella förutsättningar och relationen till övriga Malmö. Syftet blir att föreslå en framtida stadsutvecklingen som innebär skapandet av nya strukturer och förtätning av bebyggelse för att göra Rosengård till en funktionsintegrerad stadsdel istället för dagens funktionsuppdelade struktur..

Meanwhile, industrialized construction partly earned a bad reputation after the million housing program. As large-scale projects where promoted during this period, it worked very well to use the technique of construction elements. In the mid seventies though, criticism arose which claimed that the aesthetic qualities had been deprived in the corporates effort to make housing production as efficient as possible.Tyréns, Derome and CBBT (centre for building and housing in wood) cooperates in a development project to develop a building system for 4-8-storey buildings, consisting of three platforms: a technology platform, an IT platform and a processing platform. The technology platform consists of flexible, industrially built flat modules of wood and from this platform the subsystem stairwells, is broken out.

Prestation i traktplanering

This study was an assignment for the company Holmen which is located in the region of Örnsköldsvik, Sweden. The study was focusing on the responsibilities of a forestry planner during the planning season. The study was investigating about how much time the planner spent in the office, in the car and out in the forest. Any other issues that would cause delays were also identified. To be more effective and to increase the number of objects to a district bank, a better preparation in the planning stage (for thinning?s or clear cuts) is needed as well as faster transition on to the next area.
