Ett företag som idag erbjuder certifieringar i Sverige inom livsmedelsbranschen är Kiwa Sverige. Företaget har känt av en ökad efterfrågan av CSR-standarder från sina kunder.

The Master?s Thesis studies safety in three levels: (i) general - design standards, national safety policies and road hierarchy; (ii) local authority and road administrator; and (iii) three specific safety countermeasures - junctions, pedestrian crossings and traffic calming.

Uppsatsen Kampen om staden - En prövning av gränser undersöker relationen mellan den olagliga fasadkonsten och den lagliga fasadkonsten samt konstinstitutioner i Malmös centrala delar. Studien bygger på en icke-deltagande observation där målpunkter för de tre enheterna identifieras och kartläggs. Stadsvandringen mellan målpunkterna är slumpmässig för att pröva om graffiti uppstår utanför sina målpunkter. Detta för att undersöka om graffitin prövar de andra enheterna i det offentliga rummet. Diskussion av resultatet belyses genom teori kring offentliga rum, territorium skapande i staden, stadens rytm och process samt planerarens och arkitektens roll i skapandet av offentliga rum.

Norrköping med närmare 100 000 invånare är en av få städer i Sverige med spårväg. En utbyggnad av systemet till Navestad har länge diskuterats. En detaljplan för spårvägsutbyggnad finns, men spårvägen är ännu inte byggd. Frågan har väckts igen, där man även diskuterar en dragning vidare till Ensjön. Från kommunens sida ser man det nu inte bara som en transportfråga utan en stadsbyggnadsfråga där spårvägen utgör en viktig del i utvecklingen av staden.

The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the regulatory power, efficiency and impact of export control on Swedish arms export from the 1980s onwards, linked to the delegation of authority of permit license to the Inspectorate of Strategic Products in 1997. An increase in the administrative sector, based on a collective decision making process and established criteria and guidelines, aimed to strengthen the control of arms export to non-democratic and problematic states. In short, the aim of the study is to investigate and analyze whether there was a decrease in the arms export to problematic states or not. On one hand, it is reasonable to assume that the introduction of the new regulation entailed a more strict arms export policy. However, previous research has showed that regulations are sometimes not effective since incentives to breach these may be present.The study begins by examining the Swedish case and situation in terms of arms manufacturing and export, as well as the delegation of authority and legislation applied to the field over time.

Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att jämföra Naturvårdsverkets förslag till en förändring av strandskyddsbestämmelserna, som kom år 2002, med de nya strandskyddsbestämmelserna som i fullo trädde i kraft den förste februari år 2010. Vidare har frågan hur de allmänna intressena tas till vara i strandskyddsbestämmelserna ställts samt hur förändringarna i lagstiftningen har påverkat detaljplaneringen av strandområden i tätortsområden. En fallstudie gjorts över ett strandnära område där ett planförslag har gjorts för att visa hur de nya strandskyddsbestämmelserna kan tillämpas vid detaljplanering. Avgränsningen av arbetet har varit intresseavvägningen mellan de allmänna intressena och de privata utmed strandkanten vid detaljplanering samt till att studera strandskyddets påverkan vid detaljplanering i strandnära lägen. The purpose of the thesis is to describe how environmental compensation is carried through when it comes to exploitation of Natura 2000. The thesis also relates to the three theories of planning synoptic, advocacy and transactive. Three cases of environmental compensation have been studied from three different countries where an exploitation of the Natura 2000 is done. Sweden, Germany and the Netherlands have all been working with environmental impact assessments as a demand to be able to carry through their projects. The projects concern the development of a railway track, an industry and a port which all have been approved by the EU-commission to carry on because of socioeconomic reasons.

GPS (Global Positioning system) and GIS (Geographical information system) has been used for planning and inventory in the forest sector for more than ten years. The last years the development has come to equip harvesters and forwarders with GPS and GIS (GIT). The goal with this study was to reach a basis for decision, how Stora Enso Skog should continue its investment in GPS and GIS in harvesters and forwarders. To reach this basis for decision, possible advantages and benefits, disadvantages and problems in the harvesting process was evaluated. The study was made as an interview study with four harvesting managers and ten machine teams. To secure the quality of the results an interview questionnaire was made before the interviews were done. The results showed that GIT will make the harvesting managers work easier.

Boliden Mineral Ab's mine in Garpenberg, Dalarna is going through a massiveexpansion. The annual ore production is being increased from 1,4 million tons to 2,5million tons in less than two years period of time. Along this expansion thedepartment of mining techniques is administrating a project of optimizing the shortterm planning for the mining production. Garpenberg have since mid 90s storedinformation from all mining processes in a database.The information consists of time data from all the different activities required in themining process, for example charging, blasting, loading etc. The database also containstime data of delays that are affecting the production.

The design stage, construction documents, work preparation and the execution are all affected when everything has to be finished quickly. To avoid problems, it is required that all parts are able to deliver good quality solutions and results under the influences of time pressure, which is not always easy.

Hur samverkar de nationella folkhälsomålen med fysisk planering, och på vilket sätt kan folkhälsomålen beaktas för att förbättra förutsättningarna för ökad fysisk aktivitet hos barn? Denna studie är en fallstudie i Hjo kommun. Studien tar utgångspunkt i kommunens folkhälsoproblematik som visar att det finns en hög förekomst av övervikt hos barn. Intentionen är att undersöka vilka organisatoriska processer som kan underbygga det kommunala arbetet med folkhälsomålen, liksom att ta reda på vilka faktorer i den fysiska miljön som skapar förutsättningar för barns fysiska aktivitet. Avsikten med studien har varit att skapa ett underlag för Hjo kommuns översiktliga planering.
