The structures of organizations have gone through a dramatic change over the last years; as a result customer service is no longer a small side activity but a critical part in customer relationship management. Development in information technology has created opportunities as well as challenges for organizations when it comes to providing a customer service with capacity of sensing and responding to customers' needs. Previous research shows a relationship between customer response capability and customer knowledge processeses, this study investigates and confirms this relationship. However, findings show that dedication and understanding for customers needs has a direct impact on both customer response capability and customer knowledge processeses, this result indicates that customer knowledge processes and customer relationship management are difficult to differentiate. Furthermore, this study explores IT-related resources impact on customer response capability and customer knowledge processes.

Den här uppsatsen handlar om stress och ledarskap och hur de två begreppen påverkar varandra. Bakgrunden till detta arbete är att belysa hur stress påverkar ledarskapet och beslutsfattandet. Syftet med arbetet är att undersöka hur stress påverkar officerare inom Försvarsmakten som sitter i beslutsfattande ställningar. Med den här uppsatsen vill författaren ge en större förståelse för hur stress påverkar officerare när de ska fatta beslut. Det här ska genomföras genom att besvara följande trefrågeställningar: Vad är stress? Vad är ledarskap? Hur påverkas en officer vid beslutsfattande om han/hon befinner sig under stress? Problemformuleringen är att idag talas det om att stress påverkar oss mer än vad den gjorde förr.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how teachers approach communication in their mathematics instruction. The communication involves concepts such as teachers' mathematical language, incorrect answers, and various interaction patterns. In line with this, the study also examines how these types of communication may affect students in the classroom. Furthermore, observations and interviews were conducted with five different teachers in Sweden using an observation scheme and an interview guide. The results reveal that four out of the five teachers use both child-directed and adult-directed language when addressing students at different levels of mathematical understanding.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka vilken kunskap lärare med elever i årskurs 6-9 har om elevers stress och vad de gör och kan tänka sig göra för att underlätta för stressade elever, och vad jag i min kommande profession som svensklärare kan ta med mig ut av deras erfarenheter. Metoden jag använt för att ta reda på svaren till frågeställningarna är kvalitativa intervjuer. Resultatet visar på att lärare är relativt kunniga om vad stress är, dock skulle de behöva mer kunskap för att se symptomen på stress hos sina elever. Lärarna har en hel del konkreta metoder för att förebygga och underlätta för stressade elever, och många av dem finner stöd i litteraturen. Jag har fått en del nya idéer om hur man just i svenskämnet kan förebygga stress. Slutligen är det viktigt att identifiera stress på ett tidigt stadium så att man på så sätt kan sätta in stressförebyggande åtgärder och eliminera stressfaktorerna så vi inte utsätter eleverna för mer stress än nödvändigt..

Krav och utveckling ökar oavbrutet inom sjuksköterskeyrket, den nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskan behöver därför tydlig vägledning då erfarenhet och klinisk kompetens saknas. Stress innebär en obalans mellan krav som ställs och förmågan att hantera dessa. Ökade krav på arbetet visar på högre förekomst av stress och stressymptom. Syftet var att beskriva stress hos nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor. Metoden som användes var litteraturstudie vilken grundades på tio vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades och sammanställdes.

Syftet var att undersöka graden av upplevd stress i hem- och arbetsmiljö ur ett könsperspektiv. Syftet var även att undersöka om antal barn och ansvarsnivå i hemmet har någon betydelse för upplevd stress. Självskattad stress i hem- och arbetsmiljö undersöktes med Perceived Stress Scale hos 126 arbetande eller studerande män och kvinnor.  Studien visade att kvinnor upplevde högre stress än män främst i hemmet. Det framkom också att män upplever högre stress i arbetet än i hemmet, medan kvinnor inte uppvisade någon skillnad mellan de båda miljöerna.  Huvudslutsatsen var att upplevd stress kan förklaras av kön.

The smell appears while cooking meat of boar and is described as urine- and sweat-like. High levels of androstenone and skatole are considered the main factors behind boar odor. Skatole is a metabolite of the amino acid tryptophan, which is formed in the colon of all pigs. Androstenone is a steroid hormone that is released from the Leydig cells in the testes of boars.

ObjectiveThe objective of this study was to investigate the clinical application to use ASSR in anesthetized childrenDesignOne main ambition of the investigation was to compare hearing threshold using ABR with estimated hearing threshold using ASSR. Another aim was to examine if the duration of an ASSR measurement could be reduced by only using the frequencies 1, 2 and 4 kHz and exclude the frequency 0.5 kHz. This is a retrospective study using electrophysiological measurement from a database.ResultResults showed a high correlation between hearing threshold using ABR and estimated thresholds using ASSR, with the frequency 0.5 kHz showing a slightly lower correlation. Result also showed that the test duration was increased when using all test frequencies in ASSR-measurement compared to when 0.5kHz was excluded. ConclusionThe study showed a high correlation when comparing hearing threshold using ABR and ASSR.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) har framförts som en lämplig metod för lindring av stress hos friska, men stressade människor. Effekten av MBSR på stress hos personer utan psykiska eller fysiska sjukdomar undersöktes genom en litteraturgenomgång av artiklar som behandlar experimentella utvärderingar av MBSR. The high incidence of cranial cruciate ligament injury in dogs results in both suffering and significant costs due to treatment and care of affected dogs. Today there are several different technics for surgical treatment in dogs with ruptured cranial cruciate ligament. At University Animal Hospital (UDS), SLU, in Uppsala two fundamentally different methods; TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) and external fixation with suture material are practiced. The aim of this study was to estimate if the different surgery technics result in any difference regarding the function of the dog in a long term perspective. Since motion and function are very affected by arthritis, was the purpose also to determine if there are any differences in developing arthritis between dogs surgical treated with external fixation respectively with TPLO. Development of arthritis is common after surgery or traumatic injuries in a joint, such as cruciate ligament rupture. Unfortunately was the number of dogs in the study to small to achieve two comparable groups.

This essay deals with the issue of children and stress, and the impact that stress can have on children. The purpose has been to explore how I, in my role as teacher, can prevent children from developing stress in preschool, and how I can prevent stress to develop inside of my own department. My essay is structured as follows: First, I describe my practical work with children. Then I analyze some research literature on stress, and finally I reflect over what I have described earlier and try to connect the practical with the theoretical.In the practical part of this essay I describe the various events that I have observed during my work in preschool, where I have seen how stress can affect both children and teachers. Then I describe how the increasing size of children?s groups can create stress because of the noisy environment of the department.

Denna uppsats är en kvalitativ studie om svensklärares attityder och förhållningssätt till hur skönlitteratur används i undervisningen och om det görs några tolkningar av de lästa verken samt hur dessa tolkningar tar sig uttryck. Området som undersöks är i vilken utsträckning lärarna låter sina elever göra subjektiva tolkningar av de litterära texterna som de möter och om det är läsarens egen upplevelse och den estetiska känsligheten som eftersträvas i klassrummet eller om skönlitterära verk har andra värden som känns viktigare för yrkesverksamma lärare.Vad som också utreds är om lärarna på något sätt är influerade av reader-response-kritiken och om de anser att reader-response-kritiken har påverkat skolvärlden under 1900-talet.Undersökningen ger först och främst en bild av sex svensklärares inställningar och attityder gentemot användningen av skönlitteratur på gymnasiet. Abstract- Stress, conformity, groups and self-worth in high-school girlsThe aim of this questionnaire-survey was to investigate the experience of stress and symptomsof stress in high-school girls, and to examine if the experienced symptoms of stress could bepredicted by groups, self-worth and conformity. Another purpose of this study was to describethe girls own thoughts concerning these factors. 80 girls between the ages of 15-18 yearsanswered the questionnaire. The results showed that stress could be predicted by theexperience of conformity, but not by the experience of belonging to a group and self-worth.The most common symptoms of stress were tiredness, problems to concentrate and headache.The girls reported that they thought that girls of their own age were ?slutty and cocky?, andthey thought that it was important to look good, but at the same time many girls were happyabout themselves and they had realised that they had to live with who they are.Keywords: high-scool girls, stress, groups, self-worth, conformity.
