Intelligent IT-based solutions, often called Smart Grids, are considered to be the future balancers of renewable energy sources. One area within the Smart Grid concept is called demand response, which is focused on making customers more consumption flexible by making them more active in their consumption. In this thesis the aim is to analyze a business model by investigating the income potential for a demand response solution as well as its market potential. This has been done through literature studies, interviews and development of a computational model.The use of 5000 households with flexible consumption can provide a cost reduction of 17.2% or 2.4 million SEK for a balance responsible party during an average year. If the solution is used to make strategic bids on the regulation markets the study indicates that the largest potential for revenues lies within this strategy.

I dagens samhälle möts barn av enorma krav från olika håll, skolan är en stor del i barnens liv, och vi har i denna uppsats fokuserat på hur barn upplever stress och vad som orsakar deras stress. För att ta reda på detta har vi använt oss av den kvalitativa metoden i form av intervjuer med barn och en pedagog. Problemformuleringarna vi har använt oss av består av dessa frågor: är barnen medvetna om sin egen stress? Hur känns det i kroppen då de är stressade? Och vet de varför de är stressade? Resultatet av vår undersökning visar att vår barngrupps medvetenhet om stress inte är särskilt stor. Barnens svar kretsar runt tid och vuxnas stress, av 11 intervjuade barn var det endast tre som kopplade stressen till sig själv och beskrev sin egen stress..

Stress är ett aktuellt ämne i dagens samhälle. Tidigare forskning har påvisat en koppling mellan stress, personlighet och kön. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det fanns något samband mellan upplevd stress och karaktärsdraget neuroticism, med hänsyn till kön bland studenter. PSS och SGC-1 formulären delades ut till 109 studenter, varav 62 män och 47 kvinnor. Resultatet av studien visade att det fanns ett positivt samband mellan upplevd stress och neuroticism, när det kontrollerades för kön.

The earmould acoustics affect the amplification that the hearing aid is programmed to give to its user. It is therefore important that the choices made for the earmould are correctly done. One choice is regarding the shape of the soundbore that affects the frequency response of the hearing aid above a certain cut-off frequency. The purpose of this project was to measure the frequency response when altering the shape of the soundbore in the earmould. Additionally, the aim was to examine how the frequency response is affected when the shape of the soundbore is not set or is not possible to set in the software when programming the hearing aid.

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to examine whether the individual influence at the working place leads to the perception of decreased stress. Also I looked at whether stress and individual influence is affected by the employees age, sex or employment years. Previous research shows that individual influence decreases stress but strangely enough do the research show that individual influence seem to decrease in today?s work environment. This research is quantitative with questionnaires, answered by 74 civil servants working in a department in the municipality of Karlstad.

Som operationssjuksköterskor med lång erfarenhet av operationssjukvård har diskussioner kring munskyddets vara eller icke vara funnits, huruvida munskyddet verkligen skyddar patienten mot postoperativ infektion, eller varför munskydd egentligen behövs. I rollen som operationssjuksköterska ingår ett ansvar för patientens säkerhet, däribland ingår att se till att hygienrutiner följs.Om en patient får en postoperativ infektion orsakar det ett extra stort lidande för patienten, vilket även kan innebära att vårdtiden blir längre. Om operationssjuksköterskor kan undvika detta lidande för patienten genom att använda och hantera skyddsutrustningen i form av munskydd på rätt sätt uppnås ett av målen på operationssalen. Idag utlöses stress i arbetslivet till stor del av psykosociala faktorer. Den ökade användningen av IT sedan 70-talet har lett till att nya faktorer kan utlösa stress. Syftet med min studie var att ta reda på hur kunskapsläget ser ut när det gäller ämnet stress, med hjälp av frågeställningen; Hur beskrivs och diskuteras ämnet stress av forskare i utvalda delar av forskningslitteraturen? För att ta reda på detta använde jag mig av kvalitativ metod en selektiv kunskapsöversikt. Resultat och analys redovisades i tre teman tillsammans med teorierna coping och KASAM. Slutsatsen med studien är att största bidragande orsak till uppkomsten av stress symptom handlar om arbetsrelaterad stress med fokus på arbetsmiljön. Med hjälp av hög grad av KASAM kan individer utveckla användbara copingstrategier för att möta och hantera den skadliga stressen. .

Stress is something that has increased in recent decades among adolescents. Several reports indicate that young people today are more stressed because of the many demands they wear. They should be good in school, achievement expectations, get an education or job, make choices and think about their future. The purpose of our essay is that we want to explore and gain an understanding of how young people in the third grade in high school looks to stress. To conduct this study, we used a qualitative approach, by doing interviews with 10 high school students attending third grade at Västerviks gymnasium. The result we got out of the interviews was that young people experience stress differently, depending on their different as individuals. We found that there are different causes of stress, such as school, media, friends, demands from various quarters and choosing education.The interviews showed that some kind of stress was possible to handle for the adolescents, for instance by making schedule. Some stress from society was, on the other hand, more difficult to avoid..
