Examensarbetet har utförts på Danderyds sjukhus, ett akutsjukhus i norra Stockholm med uppdrag att erbjuda sjukvård till drygt 440 000 invånare, och närmare bestämt på hjärtsektionen inom akutmottagningen (hjärtakuten).Med utgångspunkt i nya interna målsättningar samt de statligt satta målen, att 80 % av patienterna ska färdigbehandlas inom 4 timmar på akutmottagningar från år 2009, påbörjades ett förändringsarbete på Danderyds sjukhus akutmottagning. Detta förändringsarbete mynnade ut i ett nytt flöde och arbetssätt, benämnt Lean, på akutmottagningen och implementerades i början av 2009. Efter att ha använt det nya arbetssättet i ett år finns behov att utvärdera förändringen och utveckla förändringsarbetet. Syftet med examensarbetet fastställdes därför till att kartlägga de förändringar som gjorts på hjärtakuten och vilken effekt som förändringarna gett. Detta för att kunna föreslå fortsatt arbete med att förbättra flödet genom hjärtakuten.Med hjälp av observationer och intervjuer kartlades patientflödet genom hjärtakuten före och efter förändringen.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att skapa en förståelse och ge insikt i hur konsumenters beteende kan påverkas av butikskoncept. Butikskoncept är ett bredare perspektiv av butiksmiljön som dessutom innefattar sociala faktorer.

Skellefteå Kraft är Sveriges femte största kraftproducent med kraftvärmeverk i Malå och Lycksele och bioenergikombinat i Skellefteå och Storuman. Undersökningen avser Mälardalsområdet som här definieras som Stockholms län, Södermanlands län, Uppsala län, Västmanlands län, Örebro län samt Östergötlands län. Inom detta område bor 38 procent av Sveriges befolkning och här förbrukas 31 procent av landets totala energiförbrukning. Syftet med studien är att kartlägga utbudet och efterfrågan på biobränsle, med tyngdpunkt på skogsbränsle, inom Mälardalsområdet 2010 och om fem år.

Biodiversity is under threat in Sweden and many species are on the brink of extinction. This is mainly due to the large-scale drainage projects during the 19th and 20th century and the increasingly intensive land use in agriculture and forestry. The intensive land use with sharply defined boundaries between the production units has in many cases led to either overgrazing or overgrowing. As a result many species have been pushed back to "leftover" habitats like shooting ranges, power line corridors, roadsides, dumps, embankments and other similar areas. Therefore the question has been raised, wether or not it is needed to re-introduce large herbivores into the wild in order to maintain the biodiversity that is related to the extensive land use.This study has been conducted as a literature review and will focus on the European bison?s (Bison bonasus) impact on other species and biodiversity; conditions for reintroducing large herbivores in Sweden are also discussed.Free roaming populations of large herbivores have a positive impact on plants, insects and many other groups of organisms.

SCA Hygiene Products i Falkenberg tillverkar barn- och inkontinensblöjor vid de olika produktionsavdelningarna Baby och Inko. Produktion sker främst av de egna varumärkena Libero och Tena. Under de senaste åren har produktionen av barnblöjor förändrats genom att en större andel produceras för kunders egna varumärken, så kallade private labels. Detta har fått till följd att antalet ingående material har fördubblats under den senaste treårsperioden. Ökningen ställer högre krav på utnyttjande av lager och rutiner vid hanteringen.

AbstractAn approaching overproduction of cereals and a future uncertain Supply of non genetic modified vegetable protein feedstuffs have increased the interest in an expansion of the domestic production of protein feedstuffs in Norway. Besides rapeseed (Brassica campestris), peas (Pisum sativum) may be the most suitable crop for this purpose. Peas are characterized by having a relatively high content of crude protein, ranging between 20-26%, a high content of starch, 42-51%, and a low content of fat. In general, the energy value for peas is higher than for barley but lower than for rapeseed and soybean meal.Pea protein consists of albumins and globulins to 85-100%, which leads to the fact that a large part of the pea protein is soluble and degradable in the rumen. Starch in peas is on the other hand to a large extent resistant to rumen degradation compared to starch from other starch rich feedstuffs.

The purpose of our essay is to investigate the role of the practice period under supervision from a skilled practioner as a part of the student?s development of knowledge. This essay?s main participants are students who are studying their sixth semester during the spring 2009 at the bachelor program of social work at the University of Gothenburg and active skilled practioners during the autumn of 2008 and spring 2009. The essay has primarily a qualitative approach.
