Because of increasing demand of power on Malmbanan the capacity of the existing wires which supply the trains must be increased. This increases the stress on the existing poles and for this reason the system for supplying the loads along the railway is to be removed from the poles and be replaced by some other system. This thesis is a study on a two-level low voltage (1 kV and 0.4 kV) electrical system with the aim to investigate if it can be an alternative to the system used today taking into account the voltages, fault currents and costs.In this thesis the following tasks have been performed:? Gathering of data? Description of basic theory? Loadow and fault current calculations of the system with MATLAB? Life Cycle Cost estimate of the system? Analysis and conclusions from the resultsThe results show that the new system can be an alternative to replace today's system. The simulations and calculations show that the voltage drop is at an acceptable level and that the fault currents are large enough to supply a safe disconnection if a fault occurs at the far end of the system..

Warehouses are a key aspect of modern supply chains and play a vital role in the success or failure of businesses today. Figures from the USA indicate that the capital- and operating costs of warehouses represent about 22 % of a company?s logistics costs while figures from Europe indicate 25 % (Baker & Canessa, 2009). During year 2000, Hallstavik used approximate 1.200 m3f spruce, either as logs or chips from sawmills. Risk-based sampling program of microorganisms in the water source in northern SwedenAfter several disease outbreaks caused by parasites in the drinking water during the last years, it is more essential than ever to insure that the water supply companies have enough barriers to counteract the presence of microorganisms in the outgoing water. It is also discussed whether climate changes such as increased precipitation can have a connection to the increased cases of parasites in water sources. The water source at Gäddvik is Luleå municipality?s largest and provides drinking water to 64 500 of Luleå?s 74 000 inhabitants. The investigation of microorganisms in the water source, especially in the Lule River has not been as prioritized as the sampling of chemical parameters.

This thesis examines the underlying components that affect consumer behavior regarding organic food. The thesis theoretical framework is based on Ajzen and Fishbein?s The Theory of Reasoned Action combined with theories regarding involvement and routine purchases. The empirical material is based on a desk research with 19 research papers between the years 1994 till 2009 and sales statistics over organic food.  The thesis conclusion shows that the underlying components when looking at attitude towards conventional food are price, taste, expiration-date and healthfulness. During the last decade executive coaching has become an increasingly popular method of management development. Few studies have been conducted within this area, especially in Sweden, and little has been said about the construction of management in executive coaching. The purpose of this master?s thesis is to study executive coaching from a social constructionist perspective, focusing on the construction of management. The two research questions are: How is management constructed in executive coaching? How can we understand the construction of management in executive coaching? Additionally, we identify gender as a social construction of importance and thus include a gender perspective in our analysis.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze and explain the similarities and differences in management control between a private and a public primary care company. A comparative case study was developed based on one public and one private primary care company in Stockholm County Council. The framework of Otley (1999) was used to define and limit the area of management control systems, according to his five factors. For the analysis of the empirical results Hood's (1995) seven doctrines of New Public Management was applied, and customized to fit the purpose of the study. The results indicate that the differences between the two organizations are very limited.

Syftet med rapporten är att ge en inblick i miljöarbetet i värdekedjan hos mindre konfektionsföretag, vilka svårigheter som kan förekomma och hur den hållbara utvecklingen kan effektiviseras. Vi vill ge mindre svenska konfektionsföretag råd och förslag om hur de kan uppnå en tillfredställande nivå på deras miljöarbete utan tillgång till enorma resurser.Vi har utfört intervjuer, litteraturstudier samt jämförelseanalyser mellan företagen H&M, ACNE och Lindex. Vid diskussion och analysarbetet var det tydligt att miljöarbete i värdekedjan är en komplex process och att det är flera aspekter som spelar in.Vi har kunnat identifiera åtgärder som företagen kan utföra i hopp om att uppnå en mer hållbar utveckling, både specifika som tex, materialval men även mer övergripande som att ändra sitt synsätt. Åtgärderna vi kunde påvisa kretsar kring:- Minska överkonsumtion och effektivisera resurssparandet- Minska koldioxidutsläppen- Använd miljöledningssystem och märkningar- Ändra företagets synsättEn av slutsatserna vi kunnat konstatera genom våra undersökningar är att det inte räcker med att åtgärda problemen.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att testa olika tradingmodeller inom valutahandel, byggda på tekniska indikatorer, för att undersöka om man kan nå en positiv avkastning.Undersökningen omfattar 24 olika modeller, byggda på fyra olika tekniska indikatorer och med tre olika money management strategier. Modellerna testas på fem olika valutapar under tre månaders tid. Slutsatsen är att det går att nå positiv avkastning och även positiv överavkastning med automatiska tradingmodeller om rätt indikatorer och money management strategier används. Modellernas avkastning är mer känsliga för valet av money management strategi än för valet av vilka tekniska indikatorer och parametervärden som ska användas..
