The first company to send TV-commercial was the American company NBC, it was in the year of 1941. In Sweden, TV-commercials were first shown in 1987/88. TV 4 was the first channel to send commercial in Swedish television.TV has the advantage of showing both sound and picture, which makes TV the strongest channel of communication to mediate a message between a company and the consumer. Although TV-commercial is the most expensive choice to mediate a message, it is also the most effective one. (Persson, 1993)Almost everyone is exposed to TV-commercial daily.

Holmen Skog AB is an important supplier of conifer pulpwood to the Iggesund Paperboard mill. After logging and transport to the landing by a forwarder, the wood is loaded on trucks for further transport, often by using separate loaders. During this handling process considerable amounts of stone material is sometimes mixed into the pulpwood and this causes problems for the industry. The aim of this study is to identify which part of the chain from forest to pulpmill, that contributes the most to this contamination. Sizes and total volumes of the contaminating stones were also investigated.

The purpose of this paper is to make an analysis of the urban Roman water system. I have chosen to work with the system as a general field, not as a case study of a single town. In my opinion such a study would not give a proper and fair view of the subject. Therefore, this paper will discuss the different parts of the system, each one for itself and name examples wherever possible, to give a wide survey of the reality of the Roman water supply system. The aim is to give the reader a clear picture of different solutions used in the time of the early Roman Empire and a good understanding of the subject..

Ett generellt antagande i de flesta finansiella teorier handlar om att människor är rationella och riskaverta. En investerare bör därför diversifiera sin portfölj till att även inkludera tillgångar på den internationella finansiella marknaden. Detta innebär att dagens svenska investerare behöver läsa finansiell information på ett andraspråk, vanligtvis på engelska. Då tidigare studier inom beteendefinansiering visar på samband mellan språk och finansiella beslut, syftar den aktuella studien till att undersöka huruvida individers riskpreferenser vid beslutsfattande påverkas av om information läses på svenska (modersmål för svenska investerare) respektive engelska (andraspråk). Detta sker genom en enkätundersökning bland anställda på fyra svenska banker.

Den här medieuppmärksamheten intensifierades den 6:e maj 2010 då "Flash-krashen" inträffade på Dow Jones indexet i New York och påverkade marknader över hela världen.Vår avsikt med den här kandidatuppsatsen är att kritiskt granska högfrekvenshandeln som fenomen samt den diskussion som förs angående ytterligare reglering av handeln. Detta görs genom en inledande period av litteraturstudier som kompletteras med djupintervjuer av olika aktörer på marknaden.Våra resultat visar att högfrekvenshandeln inte för med sig så stora negativa effekter som media målar upp, och att den forskning som gjorts på ämnet indikerar att handeln främst tillför positiva effekter i form av ökad likviditet och minskad volatilitet.Uppsatsen behandlar även dagens regleringssituation och analyserar de förslag på åtgärder som har lagts fram på EU-nivå. Vår analys visar att många av de förslag som diskuteras är direkt missriktade och inte adresserar det egentliga problemet? en situation som kantas av oklara roller gällande tillsyn och övervakning..

Studiens syfte är att analysera effekterna av en stark VD genom att undersöka sambandet mellan VD:s andel ersättning och företagets resultat vad gäller värde och lönsamhet. Studien bygger på teorier som agentteorin, stewardshipteorin, tournamentteorin och cateringteorin. För att besvara frågan om samband existerar har en kvantitativ metod använts. Data har sedan analyserats med hjälp av regressionsanalyser för att identifiera samband.

The conclusion of the study shows that the traditional way of doing business by treating music as a product that makes revenue is gone. Instead the labels have to take on new roles formerly run by third parties in order to survive and be profitable, especially since artists can now in control of activities that used to be controlled by the record label..

Bakgrund: Kommunikation, informationsflöden samt individuella uppfattningar är några av de psykologiska förhållanden som påverkar beslutsfattanden. Småföretagare upplever en hård kreditmarknad med krav på höga säkerheter och bankerna är medvetna om att de stramat åt kreditgivningen på grund av konjunkturläget. Handelsbanken och SEB är två storbanker som funnits länge på marknaden och båda har fått utmärkelser för att vara framstående banker för småföretagare.Syfte: Att studera lånesituationen för småföretagare genom att angripa de psykologiska aspekter som kan vara av avgörande betydelse utöver hårda värden vid en kreditgivningsprocess.Metod: Genom en deduktiv ansats har semistrukturerade frågor ställts i kvalitativa intervjuer med två storbanker och tre småföretagare i olika branscher i Stockholm stad.Teorier: Behavioral Finance, Asymmetrisk information, Perception, Agentteorin, Imageteorin och Beslutstilsmodellen.Slutsatser: I kreditgivningsprocessen krävs en kombination av hårda och mjuka värden för att kunna fatta beslut på ett rättfärdigt sätt. Det fastställs att psykologiska faktorer såsom god kommunikation minskar det asymmetriska informationsflödet och ligger till grund för relationen mellan lånehandläggare och småföretagare..

During the autumn of 2007 I carried out an investigation within the bank and finance Sector. The aim of the investigation was to see how informal aspects could be understood in relation to equality within Bank AB? The main question was: Which are the obstacles and opportunities for equality within Bank AB? To answer the main question I asked the following questions to the material: Are there any gender related different within the organization? How are men and women represented within the internal magazine? Which are the conceptions related to sex/gender within the organization? The investigation is based on a survey, the internal magazine was investigated and finally interviews took place. Throughout the investigation I used organization theory in a gender perspective. With the gender organization theory I examined concepts as structures, leadership, symbolism and changes associated with equality.

This paper investigates and explains the existence of different governance structures in the Swedish film industry. Using a theoretical framework of transaction cost economics, it is shown that trust follows from frequent production projects, affecting the distributors? control of producers, cinemas, video retailers and television. Control becomes more flexible, informal and less time consuming. Furthermore, the control of the distributors? relationship with television and cinemas proves to be multidimensional and affected by transaction activities, as well as by demands from previous parties in the value chain.
