A company library can only exist if it contributes to a positive result for the company. As endusers are beginning to perform searches on the Internet and have access to databases and electronic documents via their desktops it becomes important for company librarians to thoroughly think through what services should be offered to the users so that the library still contributes to the company s profit. The aim of this dissertation was to try to define the services that the company library offers its users having in mind the changes that have taken place concerning the availability of information. I also wanted to explore whether the librarians had the necessary competence to perform the services offered. Six information specialists were interviewed to give their view on the services their libraries offered.

Bakgrund Mäns våld mot kvinnor är ett globalt hälsoproblem, som spänner över såväl religiösa, geografiska som socioekonomiska gränser. En metod för att hitta dessa kvinnor är att administrera ett så kallat screeningverktyg eller frågeformulär. De tillgängliga verktygen är många och inget anses än vara vedertaget inom svensk hälso- och sjukvård.Syfte Att sammanställa en översikt av olika screeningverktyg som kan hjälpa sjuksköterskan att upptäcka mäns våld mot kvinnor.Metod Litteraturöversikt i form av en beskrivande sammanställning, baserad på tolv vetenskapliga artiklar av kvalitativ ansats.Resultat En sammanställning av sex screeninginstrument (ASI, HITS, PVS, STaT, WAST och WEB) presenteras. Frågeformulärens sensitivitet och specificitet redovisas, exempel på frågor samt styrkor och svagheter i formuläret beskrivs.Slutsats De sex beskrivna screeninginstrumenten har ett gemensamt syfte, att upptäcka våld. De skiljer sig åt i psykometriska egenskaper och är svåra att jämföra med varandra.

Background and problemThe Swedish mobile market is highly competitive despite the oligopoly that currently exists. A short product life cycle together with fads and new innovations puts pressure on the operators to respond to the ever changing environment and to develop and adapt their strategies after it.As a previous study regarding a specific operator?s strategy was cancelled due to the extensive confidentiality surrounding it, an interest was sparked to perform an industry analysis as this is clearly something the actors spend a great deal of time on developing. The launch of the 4G network will offer new opportunities for the operators regarding products services. It may also impact the competition on the overall market.PurposeThe purpose of this thesis is to present a deep analysis of the industry and give the reader a comprehensive picture of existing conditions.

Författarna erhöll i februari 2009 ett uppdrag från Nordea Skoghall. De var intresserade av Hammaröbors beteende gällande banktjänster och vad som efterfrågas utav dem. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka förortsbors val av bankkontor, samt analysera hur de värderar tillgänglighet, öppettider, rådgivning, priser och kontanthantering hos banker. Uppsatsens empiriska del är uppbyggd utifrån en kvantitativ metod där insamlingen bygger på 130 enkäter. Utifrån resultatet, som sammanställts i siffror istället för ord, har ett stort antal observationer gjorts. Teorin har samlats från litteratur som berör relationsmarknadsföring, tjänstemarknadsföring samt information från relevanta källor på Internet.

Where in the purchase process do problems usually emerge?Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to describe and analyze the purchasing process of IT from a business perspective.

The aim of this bachelor thesis has been to investigate what affected the body ideals of teenage girls attending the Swedish upper secondary school and thus, the questions for the investigation were: Who/what ?gives? teenage girls their body ideals today and what is considered as an influence of these young teenage girls today with regard to their perception of their own body? The theoretical perspective on the thesis were symbolic interactionism, Gidden's theory on "late"-modernity as well as Ziehe's theory on reflexivity. A quantitative survey were conducted where questionnaires were the starting point. For convenience and simplicity , the author chose to perform the survey on a number of high schools in her vicinity. The headmasters in these schools were contacted and she got the contact infomation for the concerned teachers or the school social pedagogue.

Background: A large part of the daily political and economic debate in Sweden concerns the EU. One question that has been debated since the beginning of European integration is whether trade is created as a consequence of integration and, ifso, how great are the gains related to the increased trade. An equally important but maybe less debated question is whether countries outside the union are affected by the increased European integration. Is increased European integration made at the cost of countries outside the EU? Purpose: The purpose of this study is, by calculating trade creation and trade diversion, to evaluate if a number of developing countries? trade with Sweden has decreased after Sweden?s membership in the European Union.

Ett missfall innebär en förlust av någonting som kunde ha blivit, och medför därför psykologiska reaktioner hos kvinnor som drabbas. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka kvinnors upplevelser efter ett missfall. Studien baseras på nio vetenskapliga artiklar som analyserades genom en kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fem kategorier: Att söka förklaring och lägga skulden på sig själv: Att livet och framtiden påverkas: Att andras tystnad isolerar: Att behöva stöd och förståelse och Att gå vidare och känna sig styrkt. Vissa kvinnor kände att andra människor inte ville prata om deras förlust och de upplevde sig isolerade med sina känslor och tankar, men det fanns kvinnor som kände sig stärkta av upplevelsen.

This paper investigates the science fiction novels of Swedish crime writer Per Wahlöö, most famous for his collaboration with his writing partner Maj Sjöwall on the ten Martin Beck mysteries. During two important years, 1964 and 1968, Wahlöö wrote the novels Murder On the 31st Floor and The Steel Spring, set in a near future land ruled by a social fascist power structure where political opposition is eradicated. The pretexted notion of this paper is that these novels consists of extensive quantities of criticism against the Swedish welfare state and the monopoly-capitalistic Swedish press during the sixties. Through the lens of science fiction theory and the notion of the novels as historical sources this paper concludes that PerWahlöö´s science fiction becomes a bridge between the classic Swedish detective novel and the new social critic crime fiction in the style of Sjöwall-Wahlöö and others. The novels are also representations of the historical process in the mid-sixties during the radical turn: the sci-fi novels as social criticism of the contemporary society ? an utopian flare.

Bakgrund: Perioden innan den aktiva förlossningsfasens start benämns latensfas. Den är svårdefinierad eftersom den kan yttra sig på olika sätt och varierar i längd. Blivande föräldrar som anländer till förlossningsavdelning söker stöd och bekräftelse hos barnmorskan när de tror att förlossningen har startat men är oroliga för att bli hemskickade igen. Syftet: Att undersöka och belysa förstagångsföräldrars upplevelser av latensfas. Metod: Semistrukturerad intervjustudie, data bearbetades med hjälp av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie var att studera hur gymnasieungdomar ser på ansvarstagande gällande preventivmedel i en fast relation.Metod: En kvantitativ tvärsnittsstudie användes för att undersöka könsskillnader i ansvarstagande hos gymnasieungdomar över 18 år. 102 enkäter delades ut med jämn fördelning mellan könen. Enkäten bestod av en öppen fråga samt fem slutna frågor med kommentarsfält. Chi-två-test användes för att undersöka signifikansen (p<0.05) mellan könen.Resultat: Det fanns inte någon signifikans mellan unga kvinnor och män avseende ansvarstagande. Däremot kunde en skillnad mellan könen ses när det gäller kännedom om olika preventivmedel, vart man hämtar information om preventivmedel samt varför preventivmedel används.

The retailing industry has an extremely high density of brands. In order to differentiate its offer, both retailers and suppliers, are constantly forced to come up with new ways to launch their products. A collaborative strategy between two brands is called co-branding, which means that both the private label and the supplier's brand are displayed on the new product packaging. Several studies have shown that a co-branding strategy is successful, but many operators are still reluctant to use co-branding in fear of long-term losses due to potentially damaged business relations. The objective of this study is to explain how the product- and brand related value for customers, retailers and suppliers is affected by co-branding between private labels and national brands.

Our employer Camatec Industriteknik AB gave us the assignments to increase theirs range of versions on Camcoil that is their own patent product. Camcoil is a capstan system that is used when steel band fabricated. Exist for example in production lines their steel band should be annealed. Our goal with this work is to come up with a completed production basis on a Camcoil for heavy industry.
