Introduction: Men who have sex with men (MSM) is a vulnerable group with regard to HIVbecause of biological factors, lifestyle, discrimination and, in some parts of the world,criminalization. From a public health perspective it is important to include MSM in order to securea high-quality HIV prevention but also to safeguard human rights (HR) for this group. However, itis only recently that the Swedish development cooperation agencies have begun to integrate MSMin HIV prevention. Objective: To examine how employees of Swedish institutions responsible fordevelopment cooperation manage the vulnerable group MSM when providing support for HIVprevention programs and human rights programs. Topics relate to challenges and strategies tointegrate MSM in HIV prevention, which achievements have been obtained, and how to practicallydeal with the criminalization of the group.

Introduction: All women can be subjected to intimate personal violence by theirpartner, but the older woman's vulnerability to violence is not highlighted in research.Consequences of violence can be severe and it is essential from a public healthperspective to explore the issue even for the older woman. Objective: The objective ofthe study was to generate a deeper understanding of the problems of older woman'svulnerability to violence by their spouse / partner. The research questions focused onwhat characterized their situation and how a gender perspective can illuminate theproblem. Method: A structured search for scientific studies was carried out in thedatabases: Pubmed, Cinahl, PsykArticles and Scopus in the area of interest. A qualityassessment of the articles was preformed and 12 qualitative studies were included in thestudy.

Sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att möta våldsutsatta kvinnor, en systematisk litteraturstudie.Bakgrund: År 2011 anmälde 12 471 kvinnor att de blivit utsatta för våld i en nära relation. Skador som våldsutsatta kvinnor drabbas av är allt från psykiska besvär till svåra fysiska skador. Många av dessa kvinnor behöver komma i kontakt med sjukvården och sjuksköterskor i olika organisationer.Syfte: Syftet med litteraturstudien är att beskriva sjuksköterskans erfarenheter av att möta kvinnor som utsätts för våld i nära relationer.Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie där inkluderade studier granskades och kvalitetsbedömdes. Resultaten analyserades och tematiserades utifrån likheter och skillnader.Resultat: Huvudresultatet påvisade sjuksköterskornas känslomässiga svårigheter att möta kvinnor som utsätts för våld i nära relationer, då det bland annat påverkade sjuksköterskans privatliv.

Holmen Skog AB is an important supplier of conifer pulpwood to the Iggesund Paperboard mill. After logging and transport to the landing by a forwarder, the wood is loaded on trucks for further transport, often by using separate loaders. During this handling process considerable amounts of stone material is sometimes mixed into the pulpwood and this causes problems for the industry. The aim of this study is to identify which part of the chain from forest to pulpmill, that contributes the most to this contamination. Sizes and total volumes of the contaminating stones were also investigated.

Sjukdomen framtvingarrollförändringar som ger stora påfrestningar på familjen. Anhörigvårdaren ärett stort och viktigt stöd inte bara för den demenssjuke utan också församhället. De utför ett betydande arbete som kommunen annars hade behövtutföra.Syfte: Syftet är att beskriva anhörigasupplevelser av att vårda en person med demenssjukdom.Metod: Studien är en litteraturstudiebaserad på vetenskapliga artiklar med både kvalitativ och kvantitativ metod.Elva artiklar har analyserats enligt Fribergs analysmodell. Analysenresulterade i fyra huvudkategorier: En annorlunda arbetsfördelning i hemmet,Ett ansvar som sträcker sig över dygnets alla timmar, En sorg att förlora enanhörig samt Anhörigvårdarens sätt att finna tid till återhämtning. Resultat: Resultatet visar attanhörigvårdare genomgått en rollförändring från att vara en jämlik partner tillatt få ge upp det mesta av det egna livet och istället vara en omhändertagandevårdare.

The scope of this master´s thesis is the issue of usability in relation to interface design,in particular the interface of a university library´s online public accessed catalogue, orOPAC. Since the OPAC can be seen as the library´s ?shop window? to the world, it isof great importance that the interface to the OPAC can be used by patrons witheffectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction.The master´s thesis is based on a qualitative study performed at Karolinska InstitutetsUniversity library, and contains both a usability evaluation and an interview study. Twointerfaces were evaluated: a standard web interface provided by the system supplier, andan interface developed in-house by Karolinska Institutet´s systems department. The twointerfaces are both connected to the same online library catalogue, thus making possiblea comparative study..

Att föda barn är en stor händelse i en kvinnas liv, genom livet byggs förväntningar upp om hur den egna förlossningen ska bli när den dagen kommer. Det är inte alltid upplevelsen blir som man förväntat sig.Syftet med studien är att undersöka förstföderskors förväntningar på förlossningen och på barnmorskan samt deras upplevelser efteråt. Den kvalitativa forskningsmetoden kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats användes. Resultatet av förväntningar och upplevelser i relation till förlossningen visar att tid och rum, en ny livshändelse, smärta och smärtlindring, partnerns roll samt utgången av förlossningen var viktigt i samband med förlossningen. Kvinnorna vill att förlossningen skall ta lagom lång tid och inte göra för ont.

This thesis deals with the concept of how price affects demand for a good by estimating various price elasticities of demand for snu sold in Sweden. Information was gathered on price development for snus and cigarettes as well as sales data from Swedish Match, the largest supplier of snus in Sweden. Income-, price- and cross-price elasticities were estimated based on log-log regression. Results show that snus is an inelastic good since the coefficient for price of snus was -0.536. This proved that a 1% increase in price causes a 0.536% decrease in quantity demanded.

This study is based on the development of a new software, which is used as a recommendationtool for selecting the best product. As part of the software development has an external partnerbeen asked to assist. Academic research concerning how to determine the power situation in a supply chain where an investment product supplier is involved did not exist. Therefore new models has been developed that analyses the power relations and maps out the power situation in a supply chain. In the future these models can be applied on similar cases by modifying the included parameters. The new models show that case company FAS should focus on the big producers of garbage bag which are Trioplast, Rullpack and Miljösäck. By strengthen the brand FAS can make more money in these relations.

Uppsatsens syfte är att granska vilka förväntningar ungdomar har på sina framtida kärleksförhållanden. Vi önskar se om killar och tjejer förväntningarna ser lika eller olika ut, och i så fall hur. Våra frågeställningar lyder som följer:Vilka förväntningar har ungdomar på Den Stora Kärleken i fråga om1.tvåsamhetens villkor och innehåll?2.effekter på den egna psykiska hälsan?3.genus och jämställdhet?4.makt och kontroll?Vi använder enkäter med både kvantitativa och kvalitativa frågor som datainsamlingsmetod. Våra respondenter består av ungdomar mellan 15-19 år (födda 1990-1993) som nyttjar öppna kommunala mötesplatser i Gunnared, Göteborgs Stad.Ungdomarna ger positiva bilder av sina förväntningar på Den Stora Kärleken, men präglas samtidigt av sina erfarenheter och den sociala verkligheten de lever i.

The thesis has two aims to first describe the phenomena by explaining how interim management works and what the charachteristics of an interim manger are. The second aim is to look at the value issue of interim management; What value does an interim manager provide to a company and how do interim managers try to capture and cultivate this?The qualitative method has been used. The interim management market analysed in this thesis can be stated to consist of three parts; the interim manager as a provider of knowledge, a client firm in need of a temporary manager, and an interim agency in between working as an intermediary/supplier. The characteristics of interim managers are; they are in general self-employers and rather generalists than specialists, meaning they are experienced and have great knowledge skills.

AbstraktIntroduktion: Graviditet är en tid som medför att kvinnornas kroppar omformas. Med ett klart formulerat kvinnoideal medför detta att de gravida kvinnorna evaluerar sin självbild till följd av att förändringen sker i motsats till samhällets utseende trend. Kvinnorna känner sig ful och oattraktiv, likväl får barnets hicka och sparkar i livmodern kvinnorna att känna fascination samt stolthet.Syfte: Syftet med examensarbetet är att belysa hur kvinnor beskriver sin självbild i samband med en graviditet.Metod: Sex kvinnor som var gravid i vecka 28-35 intervjuades med semi-strukturerade öppna frågor. Data har analyserats med inspiration från grundad teori.Resultat: Analysen resulterade i en huvudkategori, fyra kategorier och sexton underkategorier. De gravida kvinnorna har till följd av samhällets ideal en generellt dålig självbild.

The task for this thesis is to design a tool that is used to cut-out preforms of thermoplastic adhesive and also to make an estimate of costs for the stamping tool. The tool is used in the repair process at the MCM production line. The result of gathered information has affected how the design of the stamping tool has developed. The handling of thermoplastic adhesive in the repair process is one of the factors that influenced the design. The adhesive is sensitive for exposure to moisture. Therefore an automated feeding system of the adhesive is not recommended. The users wished for an automated stamping tool.
