Detta arbete är en undersökning som tar avstamp i summativ och formativ bedömning. Syftet med arbetet är att belysa elevernas syn på bedömning och på så sätt även belysa bedömningens betydelse i skolan. Kvalitativa intervjuer med fyra elever i nionde klass, samt en av deras lärare, ligger till grund för resultatet. Genom att analysera resultatet tillsammans med relevant litteratur så har jag kommit fram till att fördelarna med att använda formativ bedömning har nått ut till eleverna till viss del. I samband med bedömning så efterfrågar eleverna feedforward, personlig kompetens hos lärarna, elevexempel och kontinuitet för att lära sig men ser inte bedömningen som en del av utvecklingen utan som ett slutgiltigt betyg.

The aim of this essay is to examine three separate Swedish public libraries and their respective websites on the grounds of the usability sciences. I firstly had to summarize the main properties of the usability-field in order to gain an extended knowledge of its purposes and possible usage for today?s library systems. I was then able to apply the extended knowledge in the examination of the three library websites and the purpose of determining whether or not they were designed according to the standards set by the usability-sciences.Usability is a rather new science that deals with the dissection and examination of computer-based systems, in order to find the key components that make systems user-friendlier. With user needs being the main focus of its research, usability tries to meet all the different needs of the modern user and construct systems that are less system-centered and more user-centered.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att studera några vanliga strategier för bedömning hos verksamma lärare, samt att undersöka hur väl dessa strategier fungerar om man strävar efter att uppnå en likvärdig bedömning. Med detta examensarbete ville vi fördjupa vår förståelse för hur man kan arbeta för att nå fram till rättvisa och likvärdiga betyg. För att komma åt vad som ligger bakom ett rättvist och likvärdigt betyg har vi studerat vilken typ av bedömningen som läraren bygger upp sin bild av elevens måluppfyllelse kring. Vi har genomfört sex kvalitativa intervjuer med lärare, samt två med rektorer, verksamma på högstadiet och gymnasiet. Det är deras uttalanden och relevant litteratur som har legat till grund för detta examensarbete.

I den här studien har vi granskat skriftliga omdömen och individuella utvecklingsplaner (IUP) i årskurs två och fyra samt gjort intervjuer med respektive klassföreståndare för att belysa vikten av att formulera sig på ett professionellt och korrekt sätt enligt Skolverkets anvisningar. Eftersom dokumenten är en allmän handling kan negativa värderingar av personens egenskaper påverka elevens framtid. Vi har även studerat hur processen ser ut som helhet, från planering till färdigställd IUP. De frågeställningar vi har utgått ifrån är: Hur formulerar pedagogerna vad som skrivs i de individuella utvecklingsplanerna och de skriftliga omdömena? och Vilka likheter/skillnader går det att utläsa mellan de olika pedagogernas arbetssätt med de individuella utvecklingsplanerna, de skriftliga omdömena och utvecklingssamtalen? I analysen inspireras vi av Vygotskijs teorier om att lärande sker i samspel med andra.

Syftet med detta examensarbete var att öka kunskapen om hur lärare i företagsekonomi arbetar med bedömning i sin undervisning. Eftersom läroplanen grundar sig på i förväg definierade mål och kunskapskrav, så var avsikten att undersöka hur dessa återspeglas i lärarnas bedömningspraktik, ifråga om vilka bedömningsprocesser som används och hur kraven tydliggörs för eleverna. Kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer har genomförts med fyra lärare i företagsekonomi. Resultaten visar på betydande skillnader hur lärarna arbetar med bedömning och i vilken utsträckning som kursplanernas mål och bedömningskriterier används, och i analysen framträder tre olika typer av bedömningspraktik. Den första kategorin har en konstant medvetenhet om kursmål och betygskriterier, vilka tydligt framträder genom alla stadier i undervisning och bedömning.

Den svenska förskolan styrs av Läroplan för Förskolan. Denna läroplan är mycket tydlig när det gäller huruvida bedömning av det enskilda barnet ska få förekomma i verksamheterna. Enligt läroplanen (Lpfö- 98) sker bedömning och utvärdering endast när det gäller verksamheten i sig. Bedömning av det enskilda barnet är något som hör skolan till, inte förskolan. Detta ställningstagande ställer yrkesverksamma förskollärare i en situation där uppgiften blir att se individen utan att bedöma.

The purpose of the present study was to explore if blood lactate levels are increased in bitches with pyometra, and if the lactate measurement could be used as a prognostic indicator and to determine outcome. The present study included 16 bitches with pyometra that were admitted to the University Animal Hospital, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden. For comparison, a control group consisting of 14 healthy staffowned bitches was also evaluated. In all bitches, a physical examination was performed and blood samples for analysis of haematological and biochemical parameters were obtained. In all bitches with pyometra, surgical ovariohysterectomy was performed and a uterine sample for bacteriological culture and identification was collected.

My paper, ?Us and Them ? an analysis of the creation of ?the Other? in The Reluctant Fundamentalist and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas?, aims to examine Mohsin Hamid´s and John Boyne´s novels from the years 2007 and 2008. The paper tries to answer the following questions: How is ?the Other?and?Us and Them?created in the novels? And: What consequences does the thinking in terms of ?the Other?and?Us and Them?lead to in the novels? The examination is done through the method of close reading and by applying the theory of Orientalism and Edward W. Said?s analysis of the theory to the reading.It is, I believe, of utmost importance for teachers to create unity among their pupils, and peaceful and democratic classrooms where co-work is promoted.

But if the rubber band was to be let go before bursting, it will instead be contracted.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka och jämföra erfarenheter av fenomenet formativ bedömning hos högstadie- respektive gymnasielärare i moderna språk. Detta undersöktes med hjälp av metoden samtalsintervju utifrån en fenomenografisk utgångspunkt. Denna utgångspunkt innebar att lärarnas erfarenheter av formativ bedömning samt variationer inom dessa var det som fokuserades i studien.Studiens slutsatser visade att arbetet med elevernas förståelse av målen är av stor vikt för att det övriga arbetet inom formativ bedömning ska fungera. Vidare framkom två övergripande huvuduppfattningar av vad formativ bedömning innebär: ett didaktiskt verktyg eller en undervisningsfilosofi. Dessutom framhölls begreppen konkret, framåtsyftande samt främjande för förståelsen av målen som grundläggande inom formativ bedömning.

Instead the essay discusses facts about the financial ratios and IFRS as a starting point for the study.Method: The examination will be a combination of both quantitative and qualitative techniques. The quantitative part will be based on statistics and financial ratios from the different companies annual reports. These financial ratios will be analyzed by performing a confidence interval.

Deep litter is a system for animals kept in separate stalls, loafing and bedding in wind shelters. The litter can consist of different bedding, like straw and peat. The system is allowed to build over and to ensure optimal proportions it is necessary to add new straw regularly and to have good conditions. Important conditions are aerobic state, humidity, amount of organic substance and acceptable temperatures in the litter. The micro organisms are depending on temperature for their living conditions and to get the bottom layer in the litter to start burning.

The aim of this study is to examine how and in what way users of the public participate and affect the archival information that is to be preserved for the future through the examination of three archival projects involving public participation. The study seeks to examine if participation of the public could lead to increased democracy and diversity of information in the archives. The study will be performed through the examination of three participatory archives all tied to traditional archival institutions.The study is based on the theoretical framework of Benn and Gaus and their notions of public and private which they discuss using the key words access, agency and interest. The study also takes into consideration Laura Millar?s theories of social memory as a means for the public good.

Idag är bedömning någonting som sker överallt, det har inte minst blivit en stor del av lärarnas vardag i skolan. Vår uppsats handlar om bedömning och hur verksamma lärare på lågstadiet arbetar med detta. Syftet med studien var att ta reda på hur lärare i skolan ser på bedömningsarbetet och vilka metoder de använder sig av för att bedöma elevers prestationer. Genom sex kvalitativa intervjuer med verksamma lärare har vi fått svar på frågorna: Vilken syn har lärare på bedömningsarbetet i skolan idag? och Vilka metoder använder lärare sig av i bedömningen? Resultatet i studien visar att lärarna upplever bedömningsarbetet som väldigt tidskrävande men att bedömningarna samtidigt synliggör elevernas utveckling för både dem, eleverna och föräldrarna.
