The Swedish Code for Corporate Governance was introduced on July 1, 2005. All companies then listed at OM Stockholmsbörsen A-list and those on the O-list with a market value of more than three billion SKr must implement the rules in the Code. The Code includes rules for corporate governance as a complement to the legislation. The Code is based on the principle comply or explain. This is a qualitative case study that aims to examine the small entrepreneur?s choice of financing solutions and their thoughts on various forms of financing. The authors have chosen to specifically examine entrepreneurs who do not have experience that stretches more than three years in entrepreneurship and the restaurant business. The study used three different companies in the restaurant business in Stockholm and semi-structured interviews were conducted with all owners of the company, corresponding to a total of six respondents. The study's findings show the relationship of entrepreneurs who believe that the experience of the industry and entrepreneurship is valuable also are more prone to giving away some ownership in exchange for a certain expertise and funding..

?Fan fiction writing?, or the writing of stories based upon a popular entertainment franchise, has become a topic of academic discussion. Fan fiction writers have waked the ire of movie producers, since they often write fiction that is in direct contradiction to the movie?s plot or spirit. While most academic studies on fan fiction have concentrated on his confrontational aspect of the writers? psyches, we have found that the writers actually have a much more nuanced approach to their work, and are not necessarily hostile towards the directors and producers.

This work is a GIS study of fishing rights distribution between different categories of ownersand properties in the Stockholm Archipelago. There is an increasing need to review fishing administrationmethodologies, as well as studying the categories of ownership and properties located insensitive areas and areas influenced by physical disturbances in order to establish effectivelaws and restrictions.The Swedish fishing rights for an area are currently not connected to the ownership of theproperty to which it belongs.

In the current situation in the housing market and in particular the inner city much attention is directed towards achieved prices per square meter in sales. The indicator is as a principle an appropriate measure of the housing market?s health and development, and can to some extent be used to make approximations of the general economic health status of municipalities and counties. It occurs occasionally that questions about whether prices are based on fundamentals at all times.The thesis questions that very issue, not from a macro accompanying financial perspective but rather from a microeconomic perspective, where each tenant ownership in the study is a micro-object. Are the observed prices per square meter rational relative to housing cooperative?s assets or is there a lack in the observed prices anchoring the respective association's finances.

The study aims to investigate Swedish fitness companies positioning and strategic choices when internationalising in the Scandinavian countries and what has influenced this choice. Furthermore, the corporate risk and what obstacles they encountered will be examined.The study was conducted as a qualitative study with a deductive approach. The results are based mainly on primary data from interviews, as well as secondary data.The fitness companies? choice of strategy in internationalisation depends largely on its concept and positioning. The main obstacles in the internationalisation process are lack of communication, language difficulties and regulations.

Uppsatsen handlar om att hitta skillnader i hur personer känner inför ett generationsskifte i lantbruket jämfört med de som har genomgått ett. Genom att belysa känslor som kan uppstå i ett generationsskifte så ska det underlätta för kommande generationer att förstå emotionella svårigheter som kan uppstå. Faktorer som undersöktes i studien var hur de deltagande personerna uppfattade sina relationer till olika närstående och olika moment man ställs inför som familjeföretagare. I studien har semi-strukturerade intervjuer använts som hjälpmedel vid personliga möten och via telefon. Resultatet som studien genererat visar på att det finns skillnader mellan de som står inför ett generationsskifte och de som genomfört ett. En skillnad som observerats är att de emotionella svårigheterna skjuts från relationen med familjen till att handla om känslor kring den ekonomiska situationen efter generationsskiftet.

With the introduction of the Swedish Code for Corporate Governance in December 2004, most companies listed on the major Swedish stock exchanges were required to have a nomination committee responsible for, among other things, evaluating the incumbent board and nominating new candidates. This master thesis aims at analyzing the effects of these nomination committees on institutional investors in their corporate governance, through a qualitative study of 13 interviews. We have found that institutional investors have become more active through their participation in nomination committees and that they have gained more influence over the companies in which they own shares. We believe that in reality nomination committees have more influence over the selection of the board than was intended when the Swedish Code was written..

The purpose with this thesis is to analyse different factors that can explain district heating prices for energy companies in Sweden. We are further interested in examining if the prices is affected by the use of industrial waste heat in their production and the company?s ownership structure. The method applied is a multiple regression analysis using a panel data set of 50 companies over 5 years (2008-2012). The data used is yearly data obtained from the Swedish district heating association.

Att ha en skötselplan kan för en organisation underlätta på många vis. Det kan motivera ansällda att ha mål att jobba mot. Det kan även strukturera arbetet när det finns en plan att följa. Alla vet vad som skall göras och när det skall vara gjort, det uppstår därför inga oklarheter kring planeringen. Det blir möjligt för skötselpersonal att få mer ansvar genom att de själv kan läsa i planen vad som skall göras. Sjöbo kommun har idag ingen plan över vad och hur saker skall skötas i kommunen.

The aim of this study was to examine what impact restored and constructed pounds and wetlands have on waterfowls in the area of Linköping. The birdlife in five constructed wetlands werechosen to investigate if specific factors like age, size and vegetation affected the avian diversity in wetlands. Also, extra focus has been given to the threatened Horned Grebe (Podiceps Auritus), breeding in the studied area. The results showed that the number of species as well as individuals of waterfowl and Horned Grebe changed over time in what might be a result of succession in the wetlands. Comparing the number of birds to the size of the wetlands showed a clear correlation. Larger areas inhabited greater numbers of species and individuals.
