The swedish education system in general and the swedish gymnasium in particular is at the point of a thorough reform of the guidelines in education. One major difference given in the guidelines is that the former core subject of arts education is abandoned in favour of making history a mandatory class. This despite the curriculum outlined in 1994 remains. Through comparativ text analysis of the documents and reports outlining this reform and defining the curriculum as well as the guidelines for the education system this study aims to point out the reasons for this change. Through in depth interviews with teachers, educators and authorities in addition to readings of contemporary research on arts in education the study will depict a larger picture of the scheme of things.

The purpose of this study was to to examine what teachers think about visual art and how the learning process in this subject does look like. To answer these issues, I made interviews with five teachers of visual art from different schools, and I examined several examples of pupils? artworks. The stories of the teachers were analyzed in relation to governing documents and with assumptions from sociocultural theory, postmodernism and pedagogical - aesthetic research as theoretical point of view.By the qualitative interview method, the observations of the pupil?s artworks, and by the analysis of the interviews with the teachers, I have come to the conclusion that teachers think differently about art but they try to keep themselves in line with the national governing documents.

Följande analys är baserad på en undersökning med 14 informanter och ämnar synliggöra vad svensklärare fokuserar på i sina bedömningar av elevtexter i svenskämnet i Stockholms gymnasieskolor. Resultatet visar att texternas kommunikativa kvaliteter och språkfunktion ges störst utrymme och mindre fokus ligger på språkformella aspekter. Det framkommer också att avancerade texter får mer precis bedömning medan sämre textkompositioner får mer generell. I uppsatsens analysavsnitt belyses dessa aspekter samt bedömningen av dem, hur de preciseras och formativt fungerar för elevens skriftspråksutveckling utifrån Lev Vygotskys teorier. Därefter diskuteras hur bedömningspraktiken påverkar undervisningen och vilka eventuella konsekvenser sådana tekniker kan förväntas ge..

Earlier studies and research on the subject of perception and social media during the working process resulted in a change of the problem. At first the focus of the study was to examine how social media affects the perception of a brand although later on the problem had to be developed to instead examine if social media reflects the perception of a brand. The purpose of this study is to figure out if social media reflects consumer?s perception of a brand. This will contribute to company?s knowledge on how important social media is in their branding and will give pointers on how many resources that is necessary to spend on branding in social media.

The main purpose of this essay ?Mama & Papa usually do not have time? (Mamma och pappa har oftast inte tid), is to investigate what possibilities the pupils have when they need help with their homework. I also wanted to see what the actual conditions are when they do their homework. My second purpose is to see what their teachers think about homework and what they think are the positive and negative effects of homework. To be able to answer my main purpose I made a questionnaire with the pupils.

This thesis is about how teachers in natural and social science integrate the upper secondary school library in their teaching and how they use it for their teaching. Literature in connection with the study is described. Qualitative interviews have been done with four teachers from each subject and with an upper secondary school librarian.The study has shown that there are differences between the teachers in social and natural science. One group, consisting of mainly teachers in social science, survey the library collection.They give the pupils suggestions of useful material and sometimes they take out material for the pupils, with help from the librarian. The other group, teachers in natural science, uses library tools, cooperates and discusses with the librarian how the pupils should work when they use the library.

This dissertation was made since we wanted to investigate the conception called quality within the school sector. What it means and if there is something that can give an explanation of how they  at look at the conception within the school sector. This will be the benchmark through the dissertation, trying to find out the most important things which might be equal to quality within the school.To find the answers of our questions we will read literature according to the subject. To get an increased understanding we will interview some people within the school efficacy, and give students a survey to fill in.The most important results from our investigation is to look at everything in its entirety, not only look at what grades students get. Inom vården är empati en viktig grund för vårdarbetet. Forskning har visat att om man känner en ökad empati för en person i nöd så ökar tendensen att hjälpa denne. Frågesällningarna var ifall personal blir utmattade i högre grad vid hög empati och om distansering har att göra med hur länge man har arbetat inom sitt yrke. En kvantitativ studie med 109 mentalskötare och undersköterskor påvisade signifikanta skillnader inom yrkena på empati, utmattning och distans. Undersköterskor uppvisade en högre empati än mentalskötare.

I denna studie undersöktes några lärares syn på ämnesintegrerad undervisning. För att försöka förstå och beskriva respondenternas vardag användes den etnografiska forskningsmetoden. De metoder som användes för att samla in data till studien var deltagande observationer och intervjuer. De resultat och slutsatser som framkom i denna studie var att lärare kände att det var viktigt att ge eleverna en möjlighet till djupare förståelse för hur de praktiskt kan använda matematiska verktyg och begrepp.

At the same time it is likely for brands to be subject to negative publicity. Since companies are investing gigantic sums into buidling strong and positive associations around their brands it is of great economic interest to have a better understanding how negative publicity influence brand equity and what factors might moderate this effect. This thesis focuses on brand strength as a moderating factor of negative publicity.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how investments are justified in the Swedish data center industry, with a focus on cooling equipment. This is achieved through semi-structured interviews with 20 different interviewees. These interviewees represent different facets of the industry and facilitate an understanding of which factors, such as: investment costs, operating costs, reliability, environmental impact and the influence of external and internal actors, come into play and to which degree they impact the investment decision-making process. The results show that primarily low operating cost in the form of low energy consumption is the driving factor when it comes to the procurement of new equipment. A lower environmental impact is a positive side-effect of lower energy consumption.
