The purpose of this study is to explore professionals? view on why men purchase sexual services with a focus on heterosexual prostitution where the man is the buyer and the woman is the seller. To achieve the studys? purposes and to be able to examine professionals? views a qualitative approach is taken with semi-structured interviews. Six professionals who work or have been working in the organisation KAST (Buyers of sexual services, own translation), who are situated in Malmö, Gothenburg and Stockholm, have been interviewed.

This thesis emanates from the understanding that it is of importance that transgender-themed literature is indexed in accordance with how people who identify as trans name themselves and interpret the concept of trans. Based on interviews with representatives from controlled vocabularies and LibraryThing users who tag transgender-themed material, existing attitudes towards user influence in controlled vocabularies are described and the significance of tagging for transgender-themed material is looked into. With queer theory and postcolonial theory as its main framework the analysis looks at what possibilities there are for users to influence controlled vocabularies and explores possible strategies for a future library catalog that includes the voice of the Other. The study lands in the understanding that many of the resisting attitudes towards user influence within the systems for subject headings in fact lie in the systems? limitations.

Organisationerna måste kontinuerligt utvecklas och genomföra mindre förändring för att undvika behovet av större förändringar som är riskfyllda och kostsamma. I samband med förändringar har cheferna ett stort ansvar för utfallet. I en organisation finns det flera skikt av chefer med olika uppgifter när förändringar ska genomföras. Medan toppledningen fokuserar på övergripande beslut är det upp till cheferna på lägre position att operationalisera toppledningens beslut.Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur chefer på lägre position i en organisation agerar när mindre interna förändringar genomförs samt ifall vi kunde urskilja olika faktorer som leder till effektivt utfall.

Ekonomistyrning är sedan processen som tillämpas för att uppnå organisationens mål och vald strategi (Anthony, 1965). Simons (2000) delar upp ekonomistyrningen i fyra delar där det system som används för strategiimplementering benämns diagnostiska kontrollsystem. Med grund i detta fann författarna det intressant att genomföra en fallstudie av ett företag på den svenska klädhandelsmarknaden, där hård konkurrens och låg tillväxt råder (Sandow), för att se hur denna aktör löpande implementerar sin strategi via sina diagnostiska kontrollsystem.Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats var att genom en fallstudie på företag X undersöka vilken strategisk positionering de har på den svenska klädhandelsmarknaden samt hur de arbetar med sitt diagnostiska kontrollsystem för att dess valda strategiska positionering implementeras och följs upp.Metod: En kvalitativ forskningsansats användes för att uppnå uppsatsens syfte där en fallstudie på företag X med en abduktiv ansats genomfördes för att genom främst intervjuer tillgodogöra sig kvalitativ information om företagets strategiska position och tillämpad diagnostisk styrning. Dessförinnan gjordes en litteraturstudie för att bygga upp en lämplig teoretisk referensram som användes för att analysera resultatet från den empiriska studien.Reslutat och slutsatser: Genomförd studie visar att en position där en känslig kombination av vissa motsättande strategiska variabler som i litteraturen framställs som varken en passande eller opassande kombination går att förena.

The purpose of this study is to examine how pupils in high school see on the subject violence, and see how their experience of the subject is. The purpose of this study is also to see how common violence is belong juveniles and to examine their attitudes among the subject. We will in our examine and research among violence in the Swedish schools get an insight of how the violence in the school looks like and how wide spread violence really is. We want threw our objective sight and by using quantitative and qualitative interview methods give you readers an insight to the daily school world, we want to find out how the pupils themselves experience the school environment and what cautions teachers and other staff take to reduce this problem. Our main question is: ? What kind of vision do the pupils have on violence in school, and what can be a factor to the increasing violence in the schools of Sweden.

This master thesis work was done at Saab Underwater Systems AB, a company at the cutting edge of underwater technology. Here torpedoes and other underwater vehicles are developed and manufactured. The major customers are navies of different countries, mostly the Swedish navy. The aim of this master thesis is to develop, construct and evaluate an automatic Trim System for Unmanned Underwater Vehicles. The task of the system is to change the position of the centre of mass and the vehicle?s total mass or volume.

The aim of this thesis is to, from a feminist point of view, analyse the Universal Decimal Classification UDC, which is an international and widely used classification system. A number of the larger classification systems and subject heading lists have during the last decades been placed in the limelight of various gender studies and the systems treatment of women has been criticized. With this examination of the UDC, I dont merely wish to identify shortcomings and advantages with the UDCs way to treat men and women. The UDC is also used as an example of how the gender problem can be identified and interpretated in classification systems generally. My analysis is performed with a theoretical foundation in feminist science theories about knowledge and norms, together with a linguistic perspective on valuing and emotionally tinged language.

In Adult Education-Restaurant students often have a negative attitude towards the subject of math. Often mathematics is associated with what experiences the students had of this subject in elementary school - experiences that many times reduce the motivation for the same that is so frequent in the catering industry, in different contexts. Mathematics more or less unconsciously permeates restaurant profession at large, and as a chef you must realize the importance of mathematics in your daily work in the kitchen. The purpose of the work is to develop the mathematics lesson weight and volume by planning and designing more stimulating lessons accommodated in the kitchen - combining calculation problems with the work in a real kitchen environment. The aim is to help increase the students? motivation for and understanding of the importance of mathematics in the kitchen work. An action-oriented research method was used where students in a survey were asked to answer questions about their previous experiences with mathematics and how they themselves thought that motivating lessons on mathematics in cooking should be designed. The survey revealed that the majority of the students thought that the mathematics lessons weight and volume preferably should take place in the kitchen.

(2002).Metod: Metoden som har använts i denna uppsats är kvalitativ, då syftet var att göra en fallstudie av ett företag. En personlig semistrukturerad intervju med bandspelare genomfördes och två intervjuer via e-post gjordes då dessa två respondenter inte hade tid att träffas personligen.

The Music Subject and its Status in School.

November 1, 2010 the audit requirement in Sweden for small and medium enterprises was abolished, after many years of discussion. This essay aims to examine the effects of the abolishment of the audit requirement on credit. The intention is to draw conclusions about how the possible negative effects of the abolishment of the audit requirement could be prevented.The study has been made using a qualitative method to get a clearer and broader explanation that leads to deeper understanding. It includes an interview with creditors from one of the largest banks whose position represents a large group of lenders. In addition to the lender, two auditors with years of experience have been interviewed.Analysis of collected data has shown that there are both advantages and disadvantages of abolished mandatory auditing.

The CD-rom contains both textmaterial and presentations, with teacherinstructions, wich are directly appliable in teaching computers. The teachingmaterial on the CD-rom is based on an empiric survey with different computerteachers.

The objective of this thesis was firstly to examine the possibilities of creating a universal tool for evaluating IT-security. When all the material was gathered we saw that we had strayed away from our subject and that our focus was on IT-threats and IT-professionals apprehensions and possibilities on the subject. The purpose of this thesis was there after to find and identify threats and counter measures in publications and later discuss these with IT-professionals. We found and identified several threats that the professionals encountered in their work. These threats ranged from techniques used by hackers to threats that can arise when the users on the network are poorly educated.

This study focus on organizations transfer to cloud computing. Today many companies are shifting their attention towards cloud computing and the possibilities that it offers, with more flexibility and lower costs. Different kinds of cloud services, both for use by the individual and the large enterprise, are getting more popular. More and more organizations therefore decide to do the move to the cloud. There are several different strategies and many pieces of advice for these organizations to follow, but there?s not much research that have been conducted on this subject.
