The aim of this study was to investigate whether the Swedish Institute of public health care uses paternalistic information in their alcohol publications. My intention has also been to examine to what extent the paternalistic information is being used. This is determined simply by how frequently paternalistic information is found in the publications. I chose to analyse five publications that contain alcohol related information and had a clear motive. My results show that all five publications use paternalistic methods with the intention to change readers, or people in their surroundings, alcoholic behaviour. The aim of this study is to look at the way four teachers in, and five workbooks for, the course Svenska 1/A+B in upper-secondary schools include language varieties in their content. The research is based on qualitative and quantitative analyzes of the workbooks, where words and content are examined, and also interviews with the teachers who presents how they work with language varieties in their education. The results show that language varieties are accepted in school-education at the same time as they are, and have been, alienated in a way. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att ta reda på hur slöjdlärare arbetar med slöjd som ett sammanhållet ämne utifrån läroplanen. Ända sedan Läroplan för grundskolan (hädanefter Lgr 80, Skolöverstyrelsen, 1980), har slöjd varit ett sammanhållet ämne med ett betyg i slöjd. Trots detta är slöjden oftast uppdelad i två separata ämnen på schemat med två slöjdlärare med olika utbildningsinriktning som undervisar. Dessutom med två salar varav en utrustad för undervisning med textila material och en utrustad för undervisning med hårda material som trä och metall. I Läroplan för grundskolan, förskoleklassen och fritidshemmet (hädanefter Lgr 11, Skolverket, 2011a) är det stort fokus på samarbete och utifrån det har jag undersökt på vilket sätt slöjdlärare samarbetar inom ämnet slöjd. In this paper, the aim was to investigate how the Swedish subject is projected in textbooks for grade 6 and grade 9. The study was conducted based on the grounds that teachers need to be aware of the increasing expectations placed on students? literacyknowledge. To determine how well a textbook helps students to develop these skills, four textbooks? assignments have been analyzed using textual analysis based on learning theories, literacypractices and Swedish substance conceptions.

Sense of coherence, SOC, is a way to study health and wellbeing in a salutogen perspective. SOC is a theory that Aaron Antonovsky came up with and it involves three elements; comprehensibility, manageability and meaningfulness. These three elements is a objective way to look at our existence. The aim of this study was to examine how high the pupils sense of coherence was in the grades 1, 3 and 6 in a school in Karlstad. And with the result as starting point have a discussion around the pedagogical consequences and which educational work procedures we can use to work with SOC in school.
