Jag har under mitt kandidatarbete praktiserat på ett postproduktionsbolag i Stockholm som heter Cinepost. De har varit med i branschen i över tio år och har gjort många filmer. Där har jag varit med under ett flertal filmproduktioner och fått lära mig hur hela postproduktionskedjan går till. Jag har varit med och studerat alla delarna som ingår så som ljudläggning, tramp, dialogbearbetning, eftersynk och mix. KM Studio som arbetar med att dubba filmer och tv-serier har en studio i Cineposts lokaler.

I denna uppsats undersöker jag hur musikproducenter ser på sitt samarbete med musiker/artister under en musikproduktion. Metoden för undersökningen är en kvalitativ intervjustudie där tre etablerade svenska musikproducenter intervjuas. Resultaten visar att musikproducenterna lägger stor vikt vid sitt samarbete med artister. Några utav slutsatserna är att musikproducentyrket idag i Sverige handlar mycket om att kunna fatta beslut och agera som en musikalisk vägledare.A recording session - A study about music producers' way to look at their cooperation with artists during recording sessions. In this paper I will investigate how music producers look at their work with musicians/artists during a recording session.

Kindergarden - How can we create different synergies between different fields that they can benefit from each other? What different activities will suit the kindergarden? How will our perception of the kindergarden, of its need and function in society, change?In this Degree Project in Architecture I will be investigating the combination of the kindergarden together with a restaurant and a dance studio. I believe these activities will harmonize since they have overlapping benefits: We all eat, move and grow.With the new architectural activities in mind, I will further investigate the importance of the kindergarden as a part of society, more specifically our perception of what function it may, may not or could fill. I share the idea with a lot of authors, scientist that we are headed toward a society where children are kept too safe, thus minimising their chance to experience and learn to cope with a harsh reality when they grow up as adults. ABSTRACTThe aim of the study was to examine the prevalence and the location as well as the registration of gingival recessions among patients between 20-29 years of age, who are treated on the Dental Hygienist Programme at the University of Kristianstad. The study was performed as a recording study, where the first page of the base record paper was examined. We examined 295 base records. The result showed that gingival recessions only were registered on 3 % (n=10). Most of the injuries, 53 % (n=157), had been registered as toothbrush trauma.

The complex sound of someone walking in snow aren't easy to create in a studio. The best way to get the sound is to go out on a surface with real snow and record the footsteps there, but it is a complex procedure to get the right sound on the snow because snow sounds different in various temperature and various kinds of snow. It is important to find the right kind of snow to get the right sound on the foot steps. In a studio, the foley artist can create the sound of footsteps in snow by walking on different kind of material, like potato flour, coarse salt or corn flakes, the question is how realistic this materials sounds and what temperature on the snow they sound like. The results shows that the real snow (warm and cold snow) sounds most realistic and the potato flour sounds like warm and wet snow, the corn flakes some think sounds like cold snowwhile others think that it doesn't sound like snow at all and the coarse salt sounds like snow when it is around -10°C in the air, they all sounds similar in realism compared to each other.

The question formulation for this work has been "is an ice-hockey audience influenced by music during time-outs in a game?". The method was to observe one period with Färjestads BK and Mora IK, but a recording was also made, together with a conversation with the arena DJ. From the recording, the audience reactions were graded from a given scale. The grades were compilated to a diagram that shows the audience reactions in relation to the time, from the first face-off to the final whistle.

Syftet med detta projekt har varit att se om det går att efterlikna en modern popproduktion gjord i dator live med ett helt band i studion. Det skriftliga arbetet tar inte upp låtskrivning utan handlar om den tekniska procesen vid inspelning och mixning. Två låtar har arrangerats och spelats in helt och hållet i en dator för att sedan spelas in live med ett helt band i en studio. Dessa olika versioner av låtarna jämförs sedan med hjälp av sex mätpunkter. De olika versionerna är lika varandra, men är inte exakta kopior. Datorinspelningarna är välstädade och exakta medan liveinspelningarna är mindre välstädade och stundvis grötigare. .

When cows in Sweden are inseminated the heat strength is reported to the Swedish milk-recording scheme and AI scheme. Cows that show strong signs of estrus are desirable and the trait is included in the Swedish breeding goal. A strong heat makes it easier to inseminate at the right time and to avoid long and expensive days open. Since ten years the heat strength is scored from one to five by the farmer and reported to the milk-recording scheme and AI scheme. Earlier the score was from one to three and the decision was made by the AI technician.

This project has created a web-application for the service technicians at the paper plant Gruvön. The project was outsourced to the IT-company Sogeti.The application visualizes information about reparation-work of the equipment at the paper plant. The displayed information is work-orders, the status of the work-orders and errors. It is also possible to see the costs and hours spent on reparation-work.. The work-orders and related information is stored in a relational database.The application is created mainly for web-browsers in mobile-phones and tablets.

The electronic music studio ?Elektronmusikstudion? (EMS) inStockholm was initiated in 1963. It has had several different managers throughout the years. EMS soon became a rather costly project. Furthermore there have been several conflicts among staff and users wich has contributed to EMS fairly turbulent history.

Alvis Hägglunds är ett av Sveriges största företag som idag tillverkar stridsfordon och bandvagnar. Företaget är världsledande inom området och expanderar hela tiden, och därmed har de behov av att anställa mer personal. Lokalerna i Gullänget räcker inte längre till, och på grund av den snabba expansionen så har man tvingats hyra lokaler ett par kilometer därifrån. För att uppehålla kommunikationen och samhörighetskänslan har man valt att använda sig av distribuerad teknik. Uppgiften bestod i att ta fram en flexibel och anpassningsbar studio som kan användas till allt från distribuerat ingenjörsarbete till lokala möten.

This report represents a comparison between two different tools used to create an online store that was developed by two students at the Technical University in Jönköping. The web shop will be of great benefit to both customers and administrator in a food firm known as Mattias' Livs. The company wanted an online store that facilitates the sale section and gives a full control of their stocks. The aim of this thesis is to create an online store that offers customers the ability to shop online and help the staff to operate the company in a simpler and more efficient way, which reduces the need for human resources and thus leads to less costs for the company. The aim also includes a comparison between the two different tools used to create the online store.

Arbetet handlar om Piteås nya konserthus studio Acustikum som skall byggas vid musikhögskolan. En studie är gjord på stora konsertsalen. Ett bra inomhusklimat är ej lätt att uppnå eftersom hårda ljudkrav gör det svårt att tillföra luft i tillräcklig omfattning. Det finns vissa krav avseende luftflöden, men bara för att de är uppfyllda så är det ändå inte säkert att det blir ett bra klimat. För att kunna förutse lufttemperaturen i salen så användes CFD simulering.

Pitch Correction - is it a must? An interview inquiry about opinions concerning pitch correction in music making today. This work intends to find out what music producers, singers and those with a great interest in music really think about the use of pitch correction programs, both in the studio and live. The thoughts concerning this came when I began to work with these programs in a studio, mostly for vocal use. I realized that the thoughts and opinions about the use of pitch correction varies a lot.
