This work is a quick look at the overall quality of the teaching program at VÀxjö University and how the program is viewed by the students, future teachers, who attend it. This work aims to deduce how VÀxjö University uses it's resources to improve the overall quality of the teaching program..

This thesis has been done in order to ease the process of drawing schematics ofelectrical wiring. The need arose after demand from the government due to a seriesof incidents that took place during the revision of the nuclear power plant in year2009.The task of the project has been to create a computer program that can generate agraphical representation of the electrical components relations. The basis for theprogram has been an example of how the client wants the graphical representation tolook. During the course of the project weekly meetings have occured in which theclient has reviewed the work.The result of the project is a program written in Visual Basic Applications that can berun in Microsoft Excel. The program is capable of generating graphics for a majority ofthe cases.

In this study we have examined how men and women are heard on Sveriges Televisions program Debatt. Debatt broadcast on Sveriges Televison which is a public service broadcaster. Through the use of a quantitative content analysis and a dialogical approach, we have documented how many men and women who speak, how they speak, how long they have the word and the subjects they will be heard in, in the program Debatt. We have investigated the ten last broadcast programs from the fallseason 2011. Every program is 45 minutes long and contains from two to three discussiontopics each time. By categorizing our survey and enter the result in four different tables, we found that the majority, 63%, of those that are heard are men.

The aim of this study was to explore refugees experiences of an introduction program in a small Swedish municipality. The study was based on semi-structured interviews with six refugees and was conducted to explore how the introduction program contributed or has not contributed to feelings of being integrated. Our informants have got different backgrounds but have all been forced to flee their home country to Sweden. The interview data was interpreted through earlier research, theories about social exclusion and concepts which were relevant for our study. Our study showed that the informants felt kindly received in the small municipality.

In order to measure the quality of the logs, one can with help of Fast Fourier Transform technique get the signals resonance peaks. With help of these peaks you can see whether the quality of a tree is good or bad. This report contains the work of a where a program has been developed to be able to process a vibration created by an automatic hammer hitting on a log of wood. From the processed signal the program should be able to show both the raw wavesignal and the processed measured data from the resonance peaks. Beyond the raw wavesignal and resonance peaks the program should also be able to control the automatic hammer.

Who is integrating school-holiday home? It is for the teachers, recreational pedagogue or the students? How do the students think and act to keep the different activities apart?My purpose was to study how children sort the day between school and recreational home interactions. The issues were: How do they distinguish between the different activities during the day?  See the students their stay after school program as part of the school day? Who decides whether you have to go to school, and whether you have to go to after school program? And do you really have to?I have interviewed six students at an elementary school, based from a phenomenographic perspective, I've used myself of issues that students have been able to respond from a school perspective and after-school perspective. My interview questions have been comparative in nature, where the same question have given different answers depending on whether the question focused on school or the afterschool program.

The project was based on a request to improve an already existing program and hardware at the electrical engineering department at the royal institute of technology. For maximum ease of use, tests have been done on students to properly design the program for what it is meant to be used for. These tests have been transcribed and analysed, then brought back to the group in a discussion and then transcribed and analysed again, I call this process the ?four step process? (this process is presented and explained in chapter 6.4.). A part of this master thesis was also to analyse the four step process to enhance validity of this research.The project resulted in a new program with a new graphical view and features to help students and researchers to work with the technical tool for electromagnetic readings of planar objects.

To complete an overweight treatment program is associated with better weight loss. Previous studies have in principle focused on drop-out from the entire program, not individual parts of a program. Factors previously shown to influence the patientsÂŽ weight loss results are: frequency of individual meetings with a professional, the lack of social support from family or friends, the lack of motivation and in a few studies vacations. In several studies the drop-out patients have stated that their reasons for drop-out were dissatisfaction with the staff and the program design. Drop-out has also been shown to be connected with difficulties in adherence to the diet.

Denna studie behandlar frÄgor om media, ideal och ungdomar. Media har stor betydelse i dagens samhÀlle och förmedlar bilder av utseendet som skapar olika ideal. Ungdomar Àr mer mottagliga för dessa ideal eftersom de befinner sig i en period i livet nÀr de försöker finna sin egen stil. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur tv presenterar utseendet i de tv- program som ungdomar tittade pÄ. Vi genomförde en mindre enkÀtundersökning som visade att ungdomarna sÄg mest pÄ tv-programmen Idol 2005, VÀnner och OC.

MÄlet med detta examensarbete var att hitta, utvÀrdera och rekommendera ett nytt uppföljningsprogram för komponenter Ät SOS Flygambulans. Genom kontakt med andra flygbolag hittades nÄgra olika program. Bland dem valdes tvÄ stycken ut som mest lÀmpade för SOS Flygambulans. Dessa tvÄ program var MTrax och CAMS. Med hjÀlp av demos frÄn tillverkarna av programmen kunde de undersökas och beskrivas.

Uppsatsen behandlar segregation inom den svenska skolan, nĂ„got som politiker en gĂ„ng ville förĂ€ndra och dĂ€rmed genomförde grundskolereformen 1962. ÄmnesomrĂ„det behandlas i en lĂ€robok i samhĂ€llskunskap frĂ„n 1980-talet och Ă€r utgĂ„ngspunkt för denna studie. Syftet Ă€r att undersöka om mönstret frĂ„n utred-ningen som lĂ€roboken refererar till Ă€ven kan skönjas pĂ„ den kommunala gymnasieskolan i X-kommun i dag, d.v.s. i vilken grad förĂ€ldrars yrke pĂ„verk-ar deras ungdomar att vĂ€lja gymnasieskolans teoretiska program. Studien bygger pĂ„ en surveyundersökning dĂ€r en enkĂ€t gĂ„tt ut till elever pĂ„ gymnasiets studieförberedande- och yrkesförberedande program.

Bakgrund: Kursplanen i Svenska A anger mÄl och kriterier som Àr gemensamma för alla elever oavsett gymnasieprogram. Vi tycker oss ha sett, under vÄra VFU-perioder, att tolkningen av mÄl och kriterier ser olika ut pÄ olika program. Vad Àr det för en syn pÄ grammatik vi kommer att möta i vÄr framtida lÀrargÀrning? Syfte: Att undersöka om det finns en samsyn kring grammatikundervisning i svenskÀmnets kurs A i jÀmförelse mellan yrkes- och studieförberedande gymnasieprogram, samt vilka skÀl lÀrare anger för grammatikundervisning. VÄra frÄgestÀllningar Àr följande: Har lÀrare inom yrkes- och studieförberedande program samma motiv till grammatikundervisning? Genomför lÀrare inom yrkes- och studieförberedande program grammatikundervisning pÄ likartat sÀtt? Definierar lÀrare inom yrkes- och studieförberedande program grammatik pÄ samma sÀtt? Förekommer diskussioner om grammatik i undervisningen mellan lÀrare? Metod: Vi har genomfört Ätta kvalitativa intervjuer med gymnasielÀrare som undervisar i svenska inom yrkes- respektive studieförberedande program.

Syftet med studien var att mÀta elevernas kunskaper inom omrÄdet evolution pÄ yrkesförberedande program. En enkÀt delades ut till elever pÄ en gymnasieskola med frÄgor som hade fasta och öppna svarsalternativ. Ett statistiskt test (Kurskal-Wallis) anvÀndes nÀr materialet tolkades. De alternativa evolutionsidéerna dominerade svaren pÄ flersarsfrÄgorna medan det hos de öppna frÄgorna var en dominans av vet ej/ingen aning svar. Det fanns ingen skillnad pÄ rangen hos enkÀtfrÄgorna med öppna svar och intresset av att lÀsa naturkunskap b eller biologi.

The concept of leadership development plays an important role within the modern organization. As a result of the increasing interest in developing leadership competencies, investments in leadership development programs are becoming a common part of business strategies. However, the return on those investments is seldom evaluated. The reason for this is considered to be the complexity created by the many factors that influence leadership but have no relation to the program. This is a case study based on interviews with participants from a one-year leadership development program that was carried out at AB Previa.
