Sammanfattning Syftet med denna undersökning var dels att undersöka hur ledare motiverar sina medarbetare utifrån inre och yttre motivationsaspekter, dels att se vilken ledarskaps stil som ledarna utövar utifrån transformellt och transanktionellt ledarskap med hänsyn till hur de motiverar sina medarbetare. Följande frågeställningar besvarades i studien: Hur motiverar ledarna sina medarbetare utifrån inre och yttre motivationsaspekter?Hur kan man beskriva ledarskapen utifrån transanktionellt och transformellt ledarskap beroende på hur ledarna motiverar sina medarbetare?Finns det några skillnader mellan hur de intervjuade ledarna skapar motivation bland sina medarbetare? Om det finns skillnader, hur kan man karakterisera dem? Jag besvarade frågeställningarna genom att använda mig av kvalitativ undersökning i form av fem intervjuer. Som analysverktyg använde jag mig av begrepp som inre och yttre motivation, transformellt och transanktionellt ledarskap. Min slutsats är att det finns skillnader i hur ledarna motiverar sina medarbetare men att de alla använder sig utav både inre och yttre motivationsaspekter. Utifrån hur ledarna motiverar sina medarbetare visar största del på ett transformellt ledarskap, dock visar en del av ledarna även till viss del på ett transanktionellt ledarskap utifrån deras motivationsutövanden.     Nyckelord: motivation, inre motivation, yttre motivation, transformellt ledarskap, transanktionellt ledarskap..

Syftet med studien är att identifiera hur fenomenet motivation konstrueras i tre olika diskurser. Dessa diskurser är fokusgruppsamtal med gymnasieelever, läroplanen för gymnasiet samt en text om motivationsforskning för skolans värld. Analysen av diskurserna är baserad på Faircloughs tredimensionella kritiska diskursmodell. Studien synliggör skillnader och likheter i de studerande diskursena med särskilt fokus på vad detta får för påverkan på elevernas drivkrafter till lärande. Analysen visar att läroplanen konstruerar ett ideal där eleven ses som ansvartagande med motivation till lärande av ett meningsfullt kunskapsstoff.

Forskning pekar på brister i dagens matematikundervisning som bland annat handlar om elevers motivation. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka gymnasieelevers studiemotivation i ämnet matematik. Genom intervjustudier har elevers upplevelser av deras mål, självförtroende och inflytande kopplats till teorier om motivation.Motivation är ett begrepp som har utvecklats av många forskare under en längre tid, vilket har lett till ett flertal infallsvinklar. I skolan är mål, självförtroende och inflytande några av möjliga faktorer som påverkar elevers motivation. Elevernas mål i undervisningen betraktas med utgångspunkt i relationen mellan lärandemål och prestationsmål.

The aim of this study is to find out if the former students think that they have made use of the courses they have taken at the Natural Resource Use Programme specialised in Animal Husbandry at Lillerudsgymnasiet or if the courses should be exchanged. In the study it is assumed that a course can be useful professionally, for further studies and in private life.The main questions are: Have the former students made use of the courses they took at the Natural Resource Use Programme specialised in Animal Husbandry at Lillerudsgymnasiet? Was it the right decision to replace the course Horses?I have sent a questionnaire to all the students who graduated between 2003 and 2007. Out of 107 questionnaires I received 66 replies (62 %). All students have studied the same mandatory courses but different eligible courses.

This study is grounded in an interest in the Swedish Upper Secondary Schools? role as an educator of democratic citizens, with a specific interest in the moral and cognitive development of Upper Secondary School students. Development in these two areas is treated as results of citizenship education.The purpose of the study is to examine moral and cognitive development of students in Upper Secondary School to see if there are any structural differences to be found between the Upper Secondary School programs that are vocationally oriented and the programs that are preparing for further studies on higher levels ? since these differences have been both theoretically and empirically implied. The study is based on an enhanced version of Lawrence Kohlberg?s stages of moral development (with teachers? evaluations of students? capacity as a reference point of the students? actual level of moral development) as well as on Kieran Egan?s theory of development through the use of cognitive tools (as seen in five different ?shapes of understanding?).

This project has aim to examine how students experience their concentration ability during mathematics lessons in the mornings and afternoons, and how students? learning can be in-fluenced by the concentration ability during mathematics lesson in the morning and after-noons respectively? Which role do the methods of learning play in mathematic depending on which time it is carried out during mornings or afternoons with regard to student concentra-tion ability? In order to find out those issues, I used two methods; (interview and observa-tion).Interview with 4 students and 3 teachers and observations of 4 mathematics lessons based on a qualitative method. In order to measure students' concentration ability during ma-thematics education on various times, I distributed questions to 23 students and repeated it during each lesson that I have observed from a quantitative approach in two classes in a sec-ondary school. In the literature I discuss the definition of concentration, and factors affecting the concentration negatively and positively. What is the relationship between concentration, learning and type of activity and how individuals can improve their learning and attention? In addition I studied two earlier studies on the concentration.

This survey aims to investigate and analyze how six teachers on a high school in Stockholm reflect on pedagogical aspects of problem based learning( PBL). The survey focuses on ana-lyzing how the teachers relate to the benefits and problems of PBL and how they reflect on the students development. The survey was conducted on a high school and the method used for the study was interviews, each taking 30-45 minutes. The outcome of the survey indicates that the teachers sees problem based learning as an alternative to what they define as tradi-tional education regarding its epistemology. They indicate that PBL allows the students to define their own questions, to be carriers of knowledge and to evolve analytic skills in relation to the basegroup.

Forskning har visat att arbetssökandes motivation till att söka arbete påverkar deras hälsa och sociala liv. Tre motivationsteorier som utvecklats inom området och som ligger till grund i studien ärFörväntning- och värdeteorin, Målsättningsteorin och Självbestämmandeteorin. Syftet med studien var att undersöka hur positivt psykologiskt kapital, inskrivningstid på arbetsförmedling samt tillgång till jobbcoach eller inte inverkar på arbetssökandes inre motivation. En enkätstudie genomfördes där 154 arbetssökande, 83 män och 70 kvinnor deltog. De fick ta ställning till 50 påståenden gällande tron på den egna förmågan, hopp, hantering av motgång och inre motivation.

The purpose of this paper was to carry out and evaluate a pedagogic ICT-project, where the computer was implemented in art class. Focus was on the consequences of collaboration and also on the students? understanding of their own performance, compared to techniques in traditional art class.The study was qualitative and began with studies in literature. The contents of the literature are the foundation of the discussion, especially theories concerning the learning process, IT and computer-based learning. In the project, three different groups of students from upper secondary school attended and they where given tasks to solve in the image editing program Paint Shop Pro.

The purpose of this paper is to examine motivation in studies and/or work among unaccompanied adolescents who received asylum in Sweden. We have examined how six unaccompanied refugee boys? ages 15-18 years describe their motivation, regarding both current studies and their potential future studies or work. We have attempted to capture the children?s stories about what the factors are that increase or decrease their motivation through qualitative research interviews.

The purpose of this investigation was to study what students in in the first year of the social science program in high school think about the guidance they had access to during their time at primary school. This is to ensure that it the guidance students are entitled to and contribute to the development of the business. The survey was conducted at two different high schools in southern Sweden. A total of 57 students participated in the survey. The results show that 46 and 29 percent of students at the two schools did not feel they had the information they needed for their upper secondary school The results proving what previous research reached that students selection process can lead to stress and uncertainty associated with the choice to high school. The results of the present study showed that girls in particular have high standards for themselves and experience stress and anxiety associated with their selection to a greater extent than boys.

This master?s essay presents a study designed to investigate twelve police students?ability to handle academic writing conventions and to show critical-analyticalcompetence in their degree projects, which are written as part of the education atSweden?s three police academies. The education of police officers is not an academicone, and the students? main focus is therefore on writing texts in the field of policediscourse. At the same time, scientific principles and critical thinking are emphasized intheir syllabus, but the question of how students handle the encounter with academicdiscourse has so far not been investigated.

The purpose of this study is to describe the three most significant pedagogical ideas and their impact on the national curriculum from the concept of communication. As the school is a social learning community this study looks at some teachers? perceptions and experiences of teaching with a communicative approach, and the obstacles they claim to meet. The educationist Kieran Egan argue that these three pedagogical ideas are incompatible and that a curriculum that compromises them is doomed to fail. He mean that a new coherent view on education is required and should be based on students? understandings.

The purpose of this thesis was to explore how Swedish librarians working with educational matters In Swedish: studiebibliotekarier experience his/her pedagogic work in the context of a public library. My intention was thus to reach an understanding of how they experienced their educational work. The following questions were asked: 1 How do the librarians experience the physical environment created for their students? 2 How do the librarians experience the co-operation with others involved in their work? 3 How do the librarians experience the formal task that he/she now is given? 4 How do the librarians experience their own pedagogic qualifications regarding the demands that are made upon them by the students? I have interviewed six librarians and incorporated theories on pedagogic roles in an educational context. I reached the conclusion that these librarians believed the environment to be important for the outcome of the students success with their studies.
