Med bakgrund av att elevers resultat i matematik har sjunkit sedan 1990-talet och att vianser att ämnet är svårt att undervisa om, har vi ställt oss frågan hur vi ska undervisa imatematik för att alla elever ska kunna få förståelse. Detta leder oss vidare mot studiens syfte, som är att undersöka hur några behöriga matematiklärare i årskurs 1-3 säger sig undervisa i matematik för att alla elever ska kunna få en förståelse för ämnet. Defrågeställningar som vi använt oss av i studien är, hur säger sig några lärare att de undervisar i matematik? Hur säger sig lärarna att de individanpassar undervisningen i matematik?I studiens tidigare forskning har vi främst använt oss av svensk matematikforskning.Datainsamlingen har skett genom kvalitativa intervjuer med verksamma lärare inom ämnet matematik. Som stöd i vårt analysarbete har vi använt begreppen, samtal,samspel och redskap som vi anser är av vikt i ett sociokulturellt perspektiv.

This text aims to examine how teaching in literature can contribute to the schools work with creating an antidiscriminating environment. When it comes to the Swedish schools antidiscrimination plans, this essay focuses especially on those sections that concerns pupils and Student right to their own gender identity and expression.The main theories in this examination are Judith Butler?s theory on gender and performativity, queer theory defined by Fanny Ambjörnsson and theories concerning adolescent psychology with focus on the adolescent identity and it?s forming. Together with Mikhail Bakhtin?s carnival theory the text examines how Jessica Schiefauer?s novel Pojkarna (The Boys; 2012) describes a young adolescent girl?s journey to finding and forming her own gender and sexual identity.

Examensarbetet ?Laser measurements in building? utfordes under projektnamnet Laserscanner vid elektronikkonsultfirman Syntronic i Gavle av en Student vid Linkopings Universitet. Projektet gar ut pa att utveckla och bygga en prototyp for beroringsfri avstandsmatning med laser. Prototypen skall sedan anvandas for utvardering av prestanda och identifiera problemomraden med denna typ av konstruktion. Prototypen innehaller ett delsystem for overforing av matdata till PC for efterbehandling.

The digital agenda of the state and society clarifies the objectives and effects academic libraries? development. E-books influence the development of organizational, economic, legal and political perspectives. At the University Library in Gävle work is ongoing. The process is controlled by the acquisition policy which makes it clear that e-books should be purchased if possible.

 During our education time, we have heard on several occasions how the high changing rate in the society also influences the education area. That changing process mainly originates from the transform that a school underwent, i.e. the decentralization meaning a delegation of responsibility from a national to local government and the particular school. The main idea that started a changing process goes under the slogan ?a school for everyone?.

Anledningar till att ilska väcks till liv är individuella och kan exempelvis bero på orättvis behandling eller maktlöshet. Ilska känns på liknande sätt inombords hos alla individer vilket innebär att en Student som känner ilska över att kamraten fuskat på en tenta, kan uppleva liknande känslor av ilska inombords som patienten som tvingas vänta på sina mediciner. När ilska väl kommit in i kroppen måste den ?komma ut?.  Ilskans väg ut ur kroppen skiljer sig åt från person till person där en del yttrar sin ilska fysiskt medan andra yttrar den verbalt eller via tårar.

Denna rapport är ett examensarbete utfört av Per Jonsson, Student vid Karlstads Universitet. Examensarbetet omfattar 22,5 högskolepoäng och är ett obligatoriskt moment inom högskoleingenjörsprogrammet i ämnet maskinteknik.   Företaget Trollspeed tillverkar högeffektiva racingmotorer för användning av racingteam på elitnivå. Stora turboaggregat samt tillhörande utrustning sätts samman med specialbyggda avgasgrenrör för att uppnå största möjliga effektuttag. Tillsammans bildar dessa sammansatta delar en hög vikt och måste därför stagas upp.   Detta arbete handlar om att ta fram en ny lösning för uppstagningen, då dagens lösning leder till oundviklig spänningspåverkan i grenröret som bidrar till att sprickbildningar uppstår. Projektet är indelat i två delar där första delen omfattar framtagning av ett mätverktyg för analysering av rörelse samt kraftpåverkan hos grenröret. Framtagningen av mätverktyget resulterade i en mätskala med visare för visualisering av rörelser och monterade lastceller för analysering av kraftpåverkan.

 The purpose with my study was primarily to illuminate the Students' expectations on gained knowledge during their studies at the upper secondary school Hotel- and Restaurant program, and to what extent these expectations were fulfilled. Secondarily, the purpose was to compare the Students' expected and perceived knowledge with the program goals set by the Swedish government and the knowledge requirements expressed in a pilot study made by the Education council of the Hotel and restaurant business (UHR, 2007).I chose a quantative approach and I used an anonymous group enquiry among Students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program at two different upper secondary schools to carry out my study.Tendencies in the result suggested that the Students at the Hotel- and Restaurant program expected high knowledge level within the competence areas of Guest reception and communication, Cleaning and hygiene, Cooking of cold and hot dishes and Waiting. The expectations were not big within the areas Computers and Internet and Business economics and management.Fulfillment of expected knowledge tended to be high within the areas where the expectations were big. It might therefore be a good investment for schools to work on the Student expectations to increase motivation within the low expectation areas.A confrontation of the tendencies in the result with the program goals and the competence requirements expressed in the UHR study, suggested that the upper secondary Hotel- and Restaurant education might focus some more the areas of Guest reception and communication, Beverages and Organization of banquets. Business economics and management should be given much more weight..

The purpose of this study is to investigate in what extension Students experience that computer and videogames affect them. I have chosen to focus on the physical, mental and social affect that this activity might bring them. I have also examined how much time the Students spends in front of the computer or the videogame and in which social context they play.The method I have chosen to use is a quantitative opinion poll which I used in three classes of the later junior high and I have also conducted five qualitative interviews.The conclusions I have drawn from this investigation are that computer and videogames affects teenagers both physically and mentally. Physically the affects of playing videogames mostly can be derived to the physical inactivity they expose themselves to. The Students themselves did not experienced any positive physical affects from their playing.Amongst the mental affects that stood out the most I recognized the social training that online gaming provided and also the intellectual stimulation that certain games offered the player.

This essay aims to investigate how Students raised in Jehovah's Witnesses have experienced their career counseling during their middle and high school education. My main objectives are, based on the testimonies of former Jehovah's Witnesses, to investigate how career counselors can find a strategy to approach these Students in a non-threatening way. I also try to take into account the contextual elements which are of great importance when counseling Students raised as Jehovah's Witnesses. A qualitative study has been carried out with five informants with a background in the movement. The material has then been analyzed using a qualitative, narrative method.

Companies that invest in e-learning have different expectations regarding the outcome of the investment. According to literature and articles it is common that companies see reduction of costs as the primary benefit with e-learning. Therefore we ask ourselves the question if companies have attained the expected benefit of the investment in e-learning and to what extent cost reduction have been a determining factor in the investments? The purpose of the thesis is to examine if companies that invest in e-learning have attained the expected benefits. We also want to examine what the reason for investing in e-learning is and if cost reduction is the primary reason for investing. The study is founded on a qualitative method that is based on a case study in eight companies.

The theory of deliberative democracy believes in collective decision-making to achieve an expanded legitimacy and rationality in the political process. It is argued that those good public dialogues best take places in public spheres between citizens, where the common interest is carefully thought about. This thesis was done with the assumption that theatre can strengthen the idea of the public sphere and create a meeting place in the civil society, where a good public dialogue can appear. To create a good public dialogue you need citizens that are corresponding and participatory. Citizens who participate in the political process develop an increased knowledge about the society and the more knowledge about the society the larger reason to participate.

The aim of this essay is to analyse young peoples view and thoughts about women. I have studied how young people ?create women? in an opinion poll about love relations and relationships.The survey has been answered by high school Student in a suburb in Stockholm. My main question is: What conceptions of the women are presented in love relationships and relationships in general?To analyse the data, I have used a qualitative method which means that I have tried to understand and interpret their answers.

Som Student fick jag en förfrågan från ett företag att, i samband med mitt examensarbete, gestalta och genomföra en idéträdgård på Malmö Garden Show 31 maj-2 juni 2013. Idéträdgården skulle bestå av en grönskande uteplats, vara realistisk, applicerbar och väcka tankar och idéer för den egna trädgården. Konceptet lyder: en grönskande uteplats för folket i tiden, med fokus på avkoppling, samvaro, tidlöshet och grönska. I arbetet med idéträdgården som uteplats ledde tankarna till hur villaträdgårdars uteplatser har sett ut ur ett historiskt perspektiv. I arbetet beskrivs olika intressanta tidstypiska särdrag för olika epoker, från 1930-talet-1970-talet samt idag 2010-tal. Detta för att urskilja och förstå eventuella historiska drag och dra paralleller med idéträdgården. Bland annat redogörs det för hur stor plats uteplatsen tog i villa-trädgården och vilka aktiviteter som ägde rum. Vidare vilka material och former som speglade tiden och om speciella golv och eventuella tak fanns och var tidstypiska.
