Grundskolans resurser - för elever med behov av extra stöd
The aim of this essay has been to increase the knowledge of which resources there are in compulsory school, their function and how they are experienced by teachers and Students. By individual interviews I have examined teachers experiences of their work with Students in need of support in core subjects. I have also examined how Students experiences the help that they get and if they want to change anything. In my essay I have concentrated in a few main questions, such as; which resources compulsory school uses, teachers work with Students in needs of support in core subjects, the extension of Students needs, how Students experience the help that they get, how they feel about education in smaller groups and if there are any differences in needs, among Students, connected to gender. Literature has earlier shown that there are too few resources in compulsory school and that Students in need of support doesn?t get the help that they need.
Hur ser en bra skola ut för elever med Aspergers syndrom?
The purpose of my work is to investigate the experiences in school for pupils with Asperger syndrome around the question, what is a good school for them. I´m also interested in what experiences the staff has about this question. I made a qualitative interview study. I have interviewed three pupils with Asperger syndrome, a teacher and a pupil assistant. To give the reader background information I have written about what the researchers say about what it is like to have Asperger syndrome.
Studiemotivation hos studenter : Demografiska faktorers betydelse
Motivation är en betydelsefull kompontent för en individs utövande utav studier. Studien utgick ifrån motivationsteorin Self- determination theory. Syftet med studien var att redogöra för relationen mellan högskoleStudenters demografiska faktorer och vilken typ av motivation som driver dem till att utöva studier, samt relationen mellan motivationstyperna. Med typ av motivation avses amotivation, inre samt yttre motivation. Studien bestod utav 102 Studenter, varav 49 män och 53 kvinnor, från en högskola i mellersta Sverige som fick besvara enkäten The Academic Motivation Scale.

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate how the position of power / exercise of power are perceived in today's schools from the teacher's perspective. I have examined how Students' freedom and democracy education interpreted in real life, and how this affects both teacher and Student learning approaches. I would also highlight the need to set standards for children's psychological development related to the consequences will be. I have chosen to perform a qualitative research through individual interviews with five participating teachers from different experiences in different type of school. I have used the hermeneutic method of analysis to analyze the material.
Genrebaserad undervisning : att stötta flerspråkiga elever i deras språkutveckling
The purpose of this study was to examine how the genrebased instruction applied in multicultural classrooms. My observations were carried out in three different classrooms, whit the educators constantly working on language development off the Students. Two observations were carried out in Swedish, with a teacher of Swedish as a second language and the Swedish-teacher working with Students together. In these two lessons in Swedish, I took away from Pauline Gibbons model, while the third lesson in civics I assumed from Eija Kuyumcu genre model. Both models are based on the Australian research around the genrebased teaching.

Varför väljer elever att söka maskinprogrammet?
Abstract The main aim for this research is to come to an understanding for why young people choose to apply for the machine program when the time comes for the Students to make their choice of upper secondary school program. The second aim for this research is to try and come to an understanding on how to make the machine program more interesting for future Students to apply to. The method of this research is quality method with the usage of interviews. With a total of six Students in the first grade going on a school in the middle part of the country I tried to get answers to my questions. There are many things that affect Students when they are facing what gymnasium program to choose and a very common answer by Students in this study is that friends and work after school are some of the reasons for why Students choose, for example, the machine program. The study also shows that parents has less influence of the Students choice of gymnasium program and in fact, all Students in this study made the choice to pick the machine program as their gymnasium program, but not always the machine program as their first choice. With the comparison of similar studies with my study the results are often in line with what other scientist have come up with.
Fördjupningsarbetet vid Polisutbildningen i Umeå : vad tycker studenterna på utbildningen om arbetet?
Fördjupningsarbetet på polisutbildningen i Umeå är ett omtvistat ämne bland Studenterna på utbildningen. Det är många som har bestämda uppfattningar huruvida det är något som ska finnas på utbildningen eller inte. I mitt arbete har jag velat ta reda på vad Studenterna egentligen tycker och därför genomfört en enkätundersökning där jag inhämtat Studenternas åsikter. Är majoriteten negativ? Vad beror detta på i sådana fall och vad vill Studenterna göra istället för fördjupningsarbete? En polis, tidigare Student på Polisutbildningen i Umeå, har fått ge sin syn på fördjupningsarbetet.
Gymnasieflickor & idrott och hälsa : Faktorer som påverkar flickors motivation till att delta fysiskt i undervisningen
The aim of this piece of work is to highlight and investigate young female?s motivation in participation of P.E classes and the degree to which the content of classes affect their motivation. To support this piece of work two theories have been utilized, the Self-determination Theory and a gender related perspective theory. The research consists of six qualitative interviews of young females who are perceived to be less motivated. These interviews focus on their views and attitudes in relation to P.E within the Swedish high school setting.
Undervisning för elever med särskilda matematiska förmågor : En studie om hur lärares undervisning i grundskolans tidigare år bedrivs och anpassas till elever med särskilda matematiska förmågor.
The purpose of this study is to see how some teachers in primary school creates and adapts their mathematics teaching for Students with special mathematical abilities. It also aims to identify opportunities and challenges that teachers see in creating a teaching adapted to these Students.In this study, qualitative interviews has been done to collect data. The interviews were conducted with five teachers who all are active in the primary school.The study results show that there is great variation in how the interviewed teachers create their mathematics teaching for Students with special mathematical abilities. The use of mathematics book proved to be significant for how this adaptation took place. The result also shows that the teachers? explanations for the choice of the adaptations that they make in teaching vary.
Grammatik undervisning : Studie av grammatikens roll i den tidiga språkinlärningen
This essay aims to generate understanding for todays grammar teaching in the early grades.Through base in previous research, I intend in this work to seek understanding of what affects the grammar development and its impact on education. I investigate in this essay teacher's approach to grammar and how it affects the incidence of grammar teaching.Work empiricism consists of qualitative research interviews and a survey with the intention to present a broad picture of grammatical meaning. Regarding to the informants that are involved in the investigation, I have deliberately chosen teachers from different generations to find reflections of their own education and how itinfluenced their view of grammar. My study shows that teachers acquire greater part of teaching about languagefunctional side compared to the form of the language. The teachers who participated in the survey indicated that the language functional side priority by reason that the more responds to Students' learning needs and promotes a desire to learn through meaningful for the Student.
Tjejer med flyt : En flytväst för kvinnor
Denna rapport redovisar examensarbetet ?Tjejer med Flyt? vid Innovations- och designingenjörsprogrammet på Karlstads universitet. Arbetet omfattar 20p per Student och innefattar alla steg i produktutvecklingen från projektbeställning till färdig prototyp.Projektet har utförts i samarbete med Baltic Safety Produkts AB. Företaget är europaledande inom flytvästtillverkning och har identifierat ett behov på marknaden av flytvästar utformade för kvinnor.Uppdraget har varit att ta fram ett förslag på en dammodell till Baltics sortiment av flytvästar. Produkten avser ett allroundflytplagg i 50 N klassen, storlek M, 50-70kg.
Klassrumskonflikter som uppstår i mötet mellan lärare och elever i klassrummet : Tio lärares uppfattningar kring konflikter och förebyggande insatser
Conflicts are a natural part of people's daily lives and we all know that they cannot be avoided. Equally common are conflicts in school as an institution, not at least in the interaction between teachers and Students. The purpose of this study is to investigate how teachers think and reflect on the various classroom conflicts that arise with Students, and which preventive measures the teachers use. This study intends to answer the following questions;What is it that characterizes conflicts between teachers and Students in middle school? How do teachers think that these conflicts can be prevented and what solutions can be applied?I have used in this study a qualitative research method as a tool.
Aspiranten : Ansökan och antagningsprocess
I år, trädde en FAP från Rikspolisstyrelsen i kraft, RPS FS 2009:6, FAP 761-1. Den ger anvisningar till polismyndigheten samt aspiranten om vad som skall tillgodoses i aspirantutbildningen och vad myndigheten skall lägga vikt på i övrigt i den utbildning aspiranten får under sin tjänstgöring.Enligt Studenternas egna upplevelser av hur processen har varit framkommer det att många ifrågasätter hur man har resonerat kring kvalitéer hos individer och hur man kan ge märkliga argument för att neka plats hos en särskild myndighet.Syftet med detta arbete är att lyfta fram det system som borde granskas ytterligare och kanske även förbättras genom att göra tillägg i föreskrifter eller genom annan nationell lösning hos myndigheterna. Detta skall betraktas ur ett par perspektiv som känns relevanta.Den juridiska biten uppfattas som dold och inte alls framträdande under själva processen till aspiranten. Det finns mycket information som är nyttig för den enskilda Studenten som kan vara till hjälp och ge en slags vägledning till hur man skall gå tillväga med ansökan och överklagan till exempel.Det bör tas fram ytterligare styrdokument för både utbildningar och Student så att många fler blivande poliser kan känna en trygghet och lugn inför aspiranten istället för att uppleva processen som en belastning på studier och privatliv..
Samverkansprocessen : Att skapa värden genom kunskapsbildning
Abstract; Finding needs of knowledge are important for universities but also for operation in the surrounding area. Teacher, Student and other organization have to make efforts to create opportunities to develop knowledge. Without cooperate/ cooperation they can loose possibilities to develop valuable knowledge. How do the organization see upon meanings of the procedures of cooperation? How do they work with and for cooperation? What role should the universities play in the development of knowledge in todays community of change? The aim of this study is to create an understanding for the meaning of cooperation procedure by developing knowledge and how it might bring value.My interest in this is to find the means of procedure of cooperation and to create understanding.
