This essay aims to generate understanding for todays grammar teaching in the early grades.Through base in previous research, I intend in this work to seek understanding of what affects the grammar development and its impact on education. I investigate in this essay teacher's approach to grammar and how it affects the incidence of grammar teaching.Work empiricism consists of qualitative research interviews and a survey with the intention to present a broad picture of grammatical meaning. Regarding to the informants that are involved in the investigation, I have deliberately chosen teachers from different generations to find reflections of their own education and how itinfluenced their view of grammar. My study shows that teachers acquire greater part of teaching about languagefunctional side compared to the form of the language. The teachers who participated in the survey indicated that the language functional side priority by reason that the more responds to students' learning needs and promotes a desire to learn through meaningful for the student.

Denna rapport redovisar examensarbetet ?Tjejer med Flyt? vid Innovations- och designingenjörsprogrammet på Karlstads universitet. Arbetet omfattar 20p per student och innefattar alla steg i produktutvecklingen från projektbeställning till färdig prototyp.Projektet har utförts i samarbete med Baltic Safety Produkts AB. Företaget är europaledande inom flytvästtillverkning och har identifierat ett behov på marknaden av flytvästar utformade för kvinnor.Uppdraget har varit att ta fram ett förslag på en dammodell till Baltics sortiment av flytvästar. Produkten avser ett allroundflytplagg i 50 N klassen, storlek M, 50-70kg.

Conflicts are a natural part of people's daily lives and we all know that they cannot be avoided. Equally common are conflicts in school as an institution, not at least in the interaction between teachers and students. The purpose of this study is to investigate how teachers think and reflect on the various classroom conflicts that arise with students, and which preventive measures the teachers use. This study intends to answer the following questions;What is it that characterizes conflicts between teachers and students in middle school?    How do teachers think that these conflicts can be prevented and what solutions can be applied?I have used in this study a qualitative research method as a tool.

I år, trädde en FAP från Rikspolisstyrelsen i kraft, RPS FS 2009:6, FAP 761-1. Den ger anvisningar till polismyndigheten samt aspiranten om vad som skall tillgodoses i aspirantutbildningen och vad myndigheten skall lägga vikt på i övrigt i den utbildning aspiranten får under sin tjänstgöring.Enligt studenternas egna upplevelser av hur processen har varit framkommer det att många ifrågasätter hur man har resonerat kring kvalitéer hos individer och hur man kan ge märkliga argument för att neka plats hos en särskild myndighet.Syftet med detta arbete är att lyfta fram det system som borde granskas ytterligare och kanske även förbättras genom att göra tillägg i föreskrifter eller genom annan nationell lösning hos myndigheterna. Detta skall betraktas ur ett par perspektiv som känns relevanta.Den juridiska biten uppfattas som dold och inte alls framträdande under själva processen till aspiranten. Det finns mycket information som är nyttig för den enskilda studenten som kan vara till hjälp och ge en slags vägledning till hur man skall gå tillväga med ansökan och överklagan till exempel.Det bör tas fram ytterligare styrdokument för både utbildningar och student så att många fler blivande poliser kan känna en trygghet och lugn inför aspiranten istället för att uppleva processen som en belastning på studier och privatliv..

Abstract; Finding needs of knowledge are important for universities but also for operation in the surrounding area. Teacher, student and other organization have to make efforts to create opportunities to develop knowledge. Without cooperate/ cooperation they can loose possibilities to develop valuable knowledge. How do the organization see upon meanings of the procedures of cooperation? How do they work with and for cooperation? What role should the universities play in the development of knowledge in todays community of change? The aim of this study is to create an understanding for the meaning of cooperation procedure by developing knowledge and how it might bring value.My interest in this is to find the means of procedure of cooperation and to create understanding.

Abstract: Människan har i tidig ålder behov av att uppleva samhörighet och känna tillhörighet till ett socialt nätverk för att utvecklas kognitivt, emotionellt och socialt. Tonåringens sociala samspel och vänskapsrelationer upptar en stor del av tonåringens tid, både när det gäller faktiska handlingar samt sinnet, och oftast sker den sociala samvaron på skolan. Syfte med denna studie var att öka förståelsen om kunskapen om hur vänskap påverkar betygen hos flickor i årskurs nio. Det vill vi göra genom att undersöka hur mycket tid flickor disponerar för studier och vänner samt om de uppfattar att deras vänskap påverkar deras betyg och dessutom hur flickorna ser på sina betyg. Vi vill uppnå syftet genom fasta svarsalternativ, vi bestämde oss därför för att använda enkäter och där med ansåg vi att en kvantitativ metod var rimlig för vårt syfte och våra frågeställningar.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att undersöka vad den nya utbildningen ? Grundlärare mot fritidshem ? innebär för aktiva inom verksamheten, vilka förändringarna är och om de är välkomna eller inte. De medverkande i studien har insikt om både utbildning samt verksamhet, hur det sett ut och vad som är annorlunda idag. För att samla data till denna uppsats har fyra pedagoger och en student intervjuats under mars 2015. Dessa har alla gemensamt att de antingen utbildar sig inom eller arbetar inom fritidsverksamheten och ser hur den förändras.

In today?s society we depend on technology to perform the simplest tasks. Whether we are engaging in conversation with a friend or are navigating in traffic, we are likely to be found with some technological device in our hands. This dependence has grown over a period of time, and many of us have failed to reflect on the impact technology has had on our lives. The emergence of so-called One-to-One projects, where teachers and students gain access to a personal laptop, does however provide an excellent opportunity to do so.

Based on earlier experiences of mathematics and mathematical learning, both as a student and as a teacher, I became more and more interested in how well the publicly accepted opinions about mathematics as an uninteresting, difficult and ?geeky? subject corresponded to reality. What do Swedish pupils really think about mathematics and is it possible to identify any differences in their attitudes based on the pupils? age?From this point of view the following questions were formulated:·What are pupils? attitudes towards mathematics in grades 3, 6 and 9 and how do they conceive their learning conditions?·Is it possible to detect any differences in the attitudes and preferences depending on the pupils? age?The result of this study compares well with previous studies done in this and overlapping fields and indicates that:·Younger pupils tend to have a better liking of mathematics but with increasing age that interest fades out.·Most pupils, without regard to age, consider mathematics to be one of the most important subjects, despite the fact that many pupils also find mathematics difficult and boring.·For pupils of all ages, the teacher is the most important factor in the learning process. Older students have more specific demands on the teacher for knowledge and pedagogical skills.·A high noise level, talking and disturbances in the classroom are the most bothering elements when it comes to learning mathematics.

Many political reforms are currently implemented in the Swedish schools. The trend indicate that education in Sweden follows neo-liberal restructuring policy, that highlights assessment, marketization and surveillance in different aspects. According to the new curriculum LGR 11 the school head is the school's educational leader with responsibility for the school's results and development. The reforms put new demands on the school heads tasks, their responsibility and leadership. The aim of my research study is to investigate how the school heads experience andhandle this situation.

The purpose of the paper is to examine how teachers in preschool is working with language stimulation for the prevention of difficulties in reading and writing before school starts. The method that was used to illuminate the problem is a qualitative interview. A specialpedagog and six preschool teacher, which is specifically focused on language stimulation in the work with children, have been included in the study. The results indicated that preschool teacher are working a lot with language stimulation. They work mostly with children throughout the group, to encourage and provide children with the tools to be able to communicate with each other and staff.

The aim of this master thesis is to examine the opinions of the students of Linköping University regarding the role of the university library in their learning process. The study addresses the student?s expectations and satisfaction regarding the library services. The questions we seek to answer are: What are the students? conceptions of Linköping University Library as a part of their learning process? What expectations do the students have regarding Linköping University Library? Does the library fulfil the students? expectations? In what way has the library?s pedagogical ambition reached the students? What are the students? opinions about the user education? The study is based on a web survey complemented with interviews.

Allt fler bor på en liten yta av olika orsaker. Vanligast är det bland unga vilket kan leda till att boendet blir väldigt trångt. Compact Living är ett begrepp inom inredning som syftar på att effektivisera boendet utan att hemtrevnaden blir lidande för bostadens yta. Ur ett Compact Living perspektiv och dagens trender har olika kreativa koncept tagits fram.En förklaring till att trång­boddhet är vanligast bland yngre är att unga i större utsträckning studerar, eller just kommit in på arbets­marknaden, och därför inte har ekonomiska förut­sättningar för att köpa eller hyra en större bostad. Att många yngre räknas som trång­bodda då de bor i ett student­rum eller i en en­rums­lägenhet är kanske heller inte att betrakta som något problem, utan en naturlig fas i livet.Utifrån ett identifierat problem av produktutvecklingsföretaget PlusFunction har vi gemensamt tagit fram ett examensarbete med syfte att utveckla ett koncept på ett nattygsbord.

I denna studie undersöks vilka uppfattningar SUM-elever, elever med särskilda utbildningsbehov i matematik, har av matematikundervisning när de i klassrummet får specialpedagogiskt stöd i ämnet och hur de känner sig när de följer med specialläraren ut från klassrummet. Det övergripande syftet med studien är att belysa inkludering och exkludering ur ett elevperspektiv. Studien har en kvalitativ ansats och har genomförts i form av semistrukturerade intervjuer med åtta SUM-elever från åk 4 och 5. Till grund för analysen används Asp-Onsjös (2006) tre olika aspekter på inkludering; rumslig, social och didaktisk. Resultatet visar att den inkludering som eleverna anser vara viktigast när de lär sig matematik är den didaktiska inkluderingen, inte den rumsliga eller sociala. Alla elever i studien kände sig socialt inkluderade och vad gäller den rumsliga inkluderingen spelade den inte någon större roll för dessa SUM-elever.

This paper investigates how students in the humanities in four universities in Sweden reflect on their education and the current view on the humanities as an education and a science. I want to investigate what impact the past few years public debate about the humanities have had on the students. What kind of beliefs and identities do the students of the humanities form and how do they discuss the universities, the choices they made in life and how do they feel about the future.This study is based on interviews with seventeen students in Sweden from four different universities. The research is also based upon a report that The Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) published in 2011 and the debate following that report. I have also made participant observations on the four universities to make a broader description for the reader.
