Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur självvalda inspelade naturljud kunde påverka upplevd stress hos kontorsarbetande stadsbor. Totalt deltog sju kontorsarbetare. Studien bestod av två intervjuer per deltagare samt att deltagarna fick lyssna på en av två valbara ljudfiler med naturljud på arbetstid. Intervjuerna transkriberades och analyserades genom meningskoncentrering och dessa meningar jämfördes sedan med varandra. Deltagarna upplevde sig vara stressade vid studiens start och vid studiens avslut kände deltagarna att de introducerats till en bra stresshanteringsmetod.

Most studies on parenthood and learning difficulties focus on mother and child, and very little is know about fathers with learning difficulties. Moreover, people with learning difficulties are rarely asked to tell their own narratives. The aim of the current study is to identify the role of the father in families where one or both of the parents have learning difficulties. Laws and regulations concerning the rights of people with learning difficulties in Sweden are accounted for and the he social support system for all parents in Sweden are described .The empirical study is a qualitative phenomenological interview study, inspired by narrative traditions, and describes how fathers with learning difficulties experience these support systems. The main data are two life stories of fathers with learning difficulties and one observation in a family.The findings suggest that although Sweden has a highly regarded disability policy and social support system, and even though fathers with learning difficulties are assured equal rights as members of the society and as parents by the Act of Human Rights, they are not treated equal but still faces structural inequalities.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the use of social media by the Swedish Police for democratic purposes. The idea of citizen empowerment is closely related to the development of new communication technologies such as social media. Yet many studies indicate that governmental institutions rarely make use of the assumed potentials of social media.In this study, the democratic potential of social media is derived from Habermas normative concept of deliberative participation. Operational definitions emphasize discursive equality, interactive reciprocity and external impact. The analytical framework is combined with qualitative text analysis to highlight the conditions of interaction between representatives of the Police and citizens.In conclusion: the democratic potential of social media, from a Habermasian point of view, is to a significant extent neglected at the expense of its strategic advantages.

Syftet med uppsatsen var att öka kunskapen om deltagande föräldrars upplevelser av projektet ?Aktiv Förälder?. Studiens frågeställning var: Hur upplever deltagande föräldrar i projektet ?Aktiv Förälder? dess innehåll och mening? För att besvara frågeställningen tillämpades en kvalitativ metod där intervjuer genomfördes med fem deltagande föräldrar och projektledaren. Gemensamt för föräldrarna var upplevelsen av att nätverket kring dem hade påverkats och utökats, och att det nu utgjorde ett stort stöd för föräldrarna.

Hypertoni finns bland uppskattningsvis 1,8 miljoner svenskar och basen i behandlingen bör utgöras av livsstilsförändringar. Riskfaktorer vid hypertoni är tobak, alkohol, övervikt, brist på fysisk aktivitet samt stress. Sjuksköterskans uppgift är att motivera till levnadsvanor i positiv riktning genom hälsosamma val. Undervisning är en planerad aktivitet med avsiktligt mål till förändring hos en individ. Sjuksköterskan ska få patienten att känna empowerment och bli följsam till behandlingen.

The purpose of this study is to find out how social workers in one medium and one smallmunicipality in central Sweden perceive the need of financial support for young adults formore than one year and what the causes might be. To answer our research questions aqualitative research method was used and four social workers were interviewed. The resulthas been analyzed based of social exclusion, stigma, as well as on structural and individuallevel and linked to previous research. Our results show that although young adults are anexception for long duration for financial support, there are those who lack other means ofsupport for a long time. The results also show that young adults often are recurring in thesocial services, and they are long-lasting.

Bakgrund:Psykisk ohälsa är ett ökande folkhälsoproblem. Genom att stärka patienters självkänsla läggs en grund för möte och behandling. Syfte: var att ur patientperspektiv belysa hälso- och sjukvårdens bemötande av patienter med psykisk ohälsa. Metod: Artiklar söktes i PubMed och PsycInfo. En textnära kvalitativ innehållsanalys gjordes.

This qualitative study examines the participation that older people have in their own home care by exploring experiences of care workers. We will investigate to see if there are limitations due to financial implications in the sector. Modern day care of the elderly in Sweden is facing increasing pressures to both show cost savings whilst maintaining the same levels of service within the community. It is becoming more essential for older people to participate in their own care for the sake of their health and well-being. The method that we used for data collection was qualitative interviews.

The European Union has been working to promote equality between women and men for a long time. Despite this, Sweden still have a gender segregated labor market where men generally has the leading positions. According to European law the member states shall promote gender equality and to take all appropriate measures. Statutory gender quotas for company boards is one such measure that some of the European member states have implemented in national law. The Swedish law has no provisions governing gender quotas and therefore the purpose of this study is to explain how gender quotas for company boards relate to current law, both of European law and national legislation.

The overarching aim of this paper is to study the professional encounter in its complexity. The requirements for receiving welfare is set by the professional and it's the professionals decision if they are met in the proper manner. This makes the assessment of the clients conditions and the correctness of the assessment hence important. There are several levels which is necessary for the social worker to take into consideration.We have therefore made a socio-analysis by using a theoretical model of Johansson (2006) where he uses the Social Psychology of the encounter to create a model with four levels, which is always present in the professional encounter: structural, positional, relational, and experience level.  Our base was that the one responsible for handling these levels was the professional which led us to search for literature concerning the professional approach.Our study is formed as a qualitative case-study. Our empirical data consist of qualitative interviews with four social workers handling social allowance.The results shows that the complexity of the professional encounter requires a professional approach.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how employees in the financial sector perceive the leadership behaviors of middle managers, and if these perceptions differ depending on the manager's gender and if so, in what way. The study is based on a social constructivist perspective and theories of gendered organizational structures. It is based on 15 semi-structured interviews with employees who have either female or male middle managers from different companies in the Swedish financial sector. The results show that gender often acts as a framework for how leadership is evaluated and understood. Female middle managers are frequently associated with relationship-oriented qualities.

Our purpose with this report is to create a structural basis over how to improve handling with international freight at ITAB Shop Concept (further mentioned as ITAB). We have through interviews with employees at ITAB and observations identified problems that have caused difficulties at handling with international freight, from the time when an order is placed to when it?s delivered to the customer. We have also interviewed shipping companies.We have in the theory chapter written about shipping conditions for international freight and a main part of our theory is about NSAB 2000, which describes the obligations and rights shippers and consignee has.In order to improve the efficiency ITAB has to be aware of the problems in the company and try to solve them.The problems we have identified are described in the result chapter. One of the problems is that employees at the warehouse don?t know when gods is supposed to be shipped.

Det övergripande syftet med studien har varit att skildra hur personal på fyra kommunala äldreboenden definierat begreppet värdegrund samt hur de tillämpat den i det praktiska arbetet med de äldre. I studien har begreppen KASAM, Empowerment samt en problematisering av värdegrundskomponenterna använts för att analysera resultaten av interjuverna. Resultat av studien visade på att det finns en enighet bland personalen i hur man definierar värdegrundskomponenter. De gav dock samtidigt uttryck för komplexiteten i att komponenterna kan ha flera betydelser, vara nära besläktade och i vissa fall motsägelsefulla. Personalen såg på begreppen som mål för sitt arbete och menade på att uppfyllelse av målen genererar en bättre hälsa och välbefinnande för den äldre.

Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att ta reda på hur människor upplever de nya lagarna angående utförsäkring. Där vi vill undersöka hur försäkringskassan, arbetsförmedlingen och de utförsäkrade beskriver situationen. Metoden som vi har valt att utföra vår C-uppsats på, är kvalitativundersökning. Där vi valt att intervjua individer på de olika områden som vi är intresserade av. Vi har intervjuat två personer från försäkringskassan, två personer från arbetsförmedlingen och fyra personer som är utförsäkrade. Sammanlagt har vi utfört åtta intervjuer.

This essay set out to propose a problematic interpretation of the socio-cultural perspective on learning. Its purpose is to show how the socio-cultural perspective on learning defines the concept of knowledge in an incomplete way. The aim becomes then that of giving a more comprehensive description of this concept, and, to this end, to construct a new, broader pedagogic discourse. The investigation starts with a deconstructive analysis of Roger Säljö?s socio-cultural text in order to point out the incompleteness of the concept of knowledge.
