Denna uppsats är en kvalitativ studie med hermeneutiskt utgångspunkt och en deduktiv ansats. Uppsatsen behandlar funktionshindrade och deras syn på deltagande i daglig verksamhet. Syftet med studien är att undersöka och få en ökad förståelse för den dagliga verksamhetens betydelse för den vuxna funktionshindrade. Jag har valt att fokusera på huruvida känslan av sammanhang och egenmakt främjas genom den dagliga verksamheten samt om individerna upplever stigmatisering till följd av deltagande i den dagliga verksamheten. För att samla in det empiriska materialet har jag använt mig utav semistrukturerade intervjuer som vetenskaplig insamlingsmetod.

Denna socialpsykologiska studie har som syfte att med en kvalitativ metod nå en ökad förståelse för vilken betydelse samvaron och relationerna på Träffpunkten/Öppen Bas har för besökarnas sociala liv och välmående. Då med uppmärksamheten riktad särskilt mot begrepp som isolering, gemenskap och empowerment. Vi har med en hermeneutisk ansats och genom nio semistrukturerade intervjuer med brukare samt en personal inhämtat vårt empiriska material. För att besvara vår frågeställning har vi analyserat det empiriska materialet med hjälp av J. Asplunds teori om social responsivitet och konkret- och abstrakt socialitet, T.

Equality is a central aspect within development work. All development work is expected to be influenced by a gender equalty thinking, and these directions are distributed by the Department of Foreign Affairs, through Sida to Forum Syd and down to the very grasroot level, through Forum Syds local cooperation organisations. The essays question of research is a reflection over empowerment, with other words how international organisations influence other societies understanding of the society dynamics. This aspect triggered my interest for the subject, aswell as the link between aid, equality and men, and how these factors are in need of eachother. My study is mainly build on theoretical starting points, and not on earlier studies.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att synliggöra diskurser kring äldre i en offentlig text samt vilka konsekvenser dessa kan medföra för äldre inom äldreomsorgen utifrån begrepp som makt, socialt ordningskapande och åldersordning. För att uppnå detta syfte har vi studerat den statliga offentliga utredningen ?Värdigt liv i äldreomsorgen? (SOU 2008:51). Metod och teori har varit en kritisk diskursanalys som betraktar att diskurser genom språk och text är en del av konstruerandet av den sociala verkligheten. Den kritiska diskursanalysen uppmärksammar även att det finns icke-diskursiva element som påverkar diskurser i dialektik.

Compulsive gambling has lately become a more common and serious issue in our society. The number of compulsive gamblers is constantly increasing alongside the growth of the gambling industry and the consequences of compulsive gambling include both economical and social disasters. Every addiction has a start, and so does compulsive gambling, which is why we chose to perform a survey in order to determine the possible causes to why individuals are drawn to gambling and what leads them into compulsive gambling, and also during which circumstances do they find the strength and will to come out of their addiction to gambling. The theories that are used in this paper include globalization, socialization, Bauman´s consumption society and empowerment, alongside the six phases of gambling by Custer and Milts, describing the way in and the way out of compulsive gambling. This survey is one of the qualitative kind, which means that the chosen theories are connected to the ten interviews that were done with gamblers of various kinds.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka huruvida det förekommer skillnader i en fallorganisation på hur medarbetarskapet uppfattas av de tre grupperna; chef, medarbetare samt fackliga representanter. Dessa grupper jämförs sedan med varandra och med tidigare forskning inom medarbetarskap.Undersökningen utgår från Hällsténs och Tengblads medarbetarskapshjul och används i kombination med empowerment och inlärd hjälplöshet för att jämföra och analysera de skillnader som fanns mellan de olika grupper gentemot varandra och genom medarbetarskap som teori.En blandad kvalitativ- och kvantitativ ansats användes för att få största möjliga bredd på fallstudien. Den kvantitativa delen består av en enkät som utfördes på hela fallorganisationen och den kvantitativa delen bestod av en djupintervju med fackliga representanter. Dessa data sammanställs sedan och används på ett öppet sätt för att undersöka tendenser.Studien visade att det fanns relativt goda värden inom området medarbetarskap med höga värden från självskattningsformulären samt med en god syn på medarbetarskapet från de fackliga representanterna. Skillnaden fanns däremot i hur medarbetarskapet sågs mellan grupperna; medarbetare, chef och fackliga representanter.

The study seeks to from professionals perspectives describe and analyze the beliefs they have about women with intellectual disabilities and their pregnancy and motherhood. We will also discuss and reflect on the possible support that professionals find important for women to handle pregnancy and motherhood. The information has been gathered through interviews with five different professions that have come in contact with the audience in their work. In our material we found three distinctive perspectives: a child´s perspective, a parent´s perspective and a community perspective. From these perspectives, we could find many similarities in the informants´ perceptions, which resulted in different themes.

Uppsatsens syfte är att öka kunskaper om kulturaktiviteter avsedda att vara hälsofrämjande och att få ökad förståelse för den kompetens som används av personal som närmare arbetar med dessa aktiviteter. För att få svar på uppsatsens syfte och frågeställningar valdes lämpliga teoretiska utgångspunkter som tillsammans med det empiriska materialet har analyserats. Studien fokuserar på sju respondenters erfarenheter av hälsofrämjande aktiviteter, de deltagandes lärande och deras utveckling och två exempel av kulturaktiviteter undersöks: "Kultur i vården" och "Kultur på recept".En del av studien innefattar även tidigare forskning där det främst handlar om vilka mätbara effekter på hälsa som deltagande i kulturaktiviteter kan ge. Uppsatsen ska bidra till att belysa kulturaktiviteter ur ett hälsopedagogiskt perspektiv för att öka kunskapen om relationen mellan kultur-hälsa-lärande.Utifrån det empiriska materialet framkommer det att aktiviteter inom "Kultur på recept" har större fokus på det friska med syfte att stärka och utveckla individer medan "Kultur i vården" har en tydligare inriktning mot patienter i en sjukdoms- eller rehabiliterande period.Resultatet visar att det finns skillnader i den pedagogiska utformningen av aktiviteter inom respektive praktiker: Exempelvis gruppdeltagande, kompetenser bland personal samt kulturaktiviteternas tillgänglighet och utbud. Det framkommer i uppsatsens studie att gruppen har betydelse för det sociala stödet, lärande och utveckling som författarna kopplar samman med livslångt lärande och empowerment, vilket innebär en mobilisering av individens resurser..

Bakgrund: Osteoradionekros är en komplikation till strålbehandling mot huvud-hals-cancer. Personer som drabbasbehandlasiblandmed käkbensrekonstruktion.Mycket lite är känt om hur dessa personer hanterar sin situation.Syfte: Att öka och fördjupa kunskapen om vilka strategier som personer som genomgått käkbensrekonstruktionefter komplikation till cancerbehandling, använder för att hantera sin situation.Metod: Klassisk grounded theory användes vid analysen av 11 kvalitativa intervjuer, som utfördes medöppna frågorutifrån en temaguide.Konsekutivt och teoretiskt urval användes tills saturation uppnåddes.Syftet med metoden är att förutsäga och förklara det studerade fenomenet.Resultat:I analysen framkom kärnkategorin ?att orka bära sitt öde?.Personer som genomgått en käkbensrekonstruktion p.g.a. osteoradionekros använder huvudsakligen fyra strategier för att hantera sin situation. De tar de chanser de får;börjar om på nytt genom att ta en dag i sänder; skaffar sig ett nytt perspektiv på livet;och söker stöd hos andra i alla tillgängliga sfärer.Konklusion/Implikation:Ett ökat stöd behövs riktat till denna grupp av patienter.

AbstractToday there is an opportunity to reinforce concrete with steel fiber reinforcement. In some cases, completely replace the conventional reinforcement. Replacing conventional mesh reinforcement with steel fiber reinforcement in slabs on ground has shown economic benefits, less crack width and less reinforcement amount.Today there are no Swedish standard for designing steel fiber reinforced concrete, what is there is different international recommendations.In this work, design methods for steel fiber concrete are used according to RILEM and Bekaer Swedish AB's software DRAPRO. For other design methods Eurokod 2 is followed.In this work, the design of slabs on ground that are not exposed by large tension strength been designed. Design of crack-reinforcement and restrictions of crack width have been conducted in three different slabs on ground.The calculations have been performed using only conventional reinforcement and only steel fiber reinforcement, and the results are then compared.The results of the theoretical analysis are summarized in tables that compare the amount of reinforcement, crack width and economic cost.This work showed that the slabs on the ground reinforced with steel fibers provide less crack width with a minor amount of reinforcement.

This study is an assignment from the council of Södra Småland county to investigate how equality between boys and girls progresses at compulsory schools in Kronoberg county. The study was undertaken to find suggestions on how work with equality could best be stimulated.The key question was to elaborate how a decentralized rule and structural context of an organisation can affect an implementation of political decisions. The methodological approach adopted can be defined as inductive, it was analysed how the respondents from some selected schools in Kronoberg county themselves relate to the concept of equality between men and women and their experience and understanding of how the concept of equality between sex is understood in their work at school.School-legislation today demands that active measures are undertaken to promote equality between boys and girls and in general almost all the respondents of my study describe equality as an utterly important question. My findings although, at the same time, indicate a gap between rhetoric and practice. The findings of my study suggest that structural relations and a decentralised organisation can constitute a hindrance for implementing equality between men and women in schools.

The Bachelor thesis ?Oh, it?s only student radio? is a qualitative study of the Swedish student radio and its members. The study aims to investigate the professionalisation of the radio hosts through Pierre Bourdieu?s theories of field and habitus as well as theories of profession. In order to do so, it?s also necessary to establish the radiostations? perceived role in today?s media landscape by analysing their ambition in relation to other media organisations.

The main aim in this Master thesis is to analyse how an ideological view may have influenced the shape of hierarchies with a specific concentration on the concept of fiction genre in the latest versions of the systems SAB and DDC. Our thesis is that no theoretical classification scheme can be recognized as objective. With an ideological/institutional perspective we look at the structures behind these systems. As a vehicle we use the hermeneutic circle to show the play between part and unit by focusing and analysing three different levels: the content level the concept level the ideological level. The first level is in the shape of a historical background and an analysis of concept with focus on content.

Background: Previous studies have shown that intuition occurs in decision making in small enterprises. However, these studies have not illuminated which decision attributes leads to intuitive decision making.Purpose:The purpose with this study is to contribute with an increased understanding of which decision attributes leads managers in small enterprises to use intuition in decision making and why these decisions attributes have an impact on the role of intuition. The follow-ing research question will be answered in our study: Which decision attributes leads to intui-tive decision making in small enterprises, and why?Method: To answer the research question we have conducted semi structural interviews with managers in small enterprises to achieve a deeper understanding of the role of intuition. We have also used a method called Visual Card Sorting as a complement to the semi structural interviews.Result/conclusion: The result of our study indicates that the relevance and the uncertainty of a decision have the greatest significance in the use of intuition in decision making in small enterprises.
