This essay is a case-study of a phenomenon called ?ostalgie? which could be described as GDR-nostalgia. ?Ostalgie? is a compound of the two German words ?ost? (east) and ?Nostalgie? (nostalgia.) It is, like a similar phenomenon referred to as ?communist nostalgia?, a type of nostalgia. However, if one were to define ?ostalgie? as ?communist nostalgia? important aspects of the phenomenon would be left out.

Forskning har indikerat att individer med högt välbefinnande är bättre på att bemöta stress. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som skiljer individer med högt välbefinnande från dem med lågt välbefinnande, samt om deltagarna med högt välbefinnande har en bättre förmåga att hantera stress samt balansera krav och kontroll. 184 personer, varav de flesta kvinnor, har fått fylla i Ryff Psychological Well-being scale, Perceived Stress Scale och Job Content Questionnaire för att mäta välbefinnande, upplevd stressnivå och balansen mellan krav och kontroll. Två grupper skapades, en med lågt (n=20) och en med högt välbefinnande (n=20). Det framkom att gruppen med lågt välbefinnande ansåg sig ha signifikant lägre kontroll än gruppen med högt välbefinnande (p=.015).

Bakgrund: Stress, utmattningssyndrom och sjukskrivningar har setts öka under de senaste årtiondena inom hälso- och sjukvåden. Kraven på hälso- och sjuk-vårdspersonal var stora och sjuksköterskor såg arbetsbelastningen som den största orsaken till stress vilket hade ett negativt inflytande på arbetstillfredsställelsen. Syfte: var att belysa preventiva åtgärder mot stress och utbrändhet bland sjukskö-terskor. Metod: En litteraturstudie genomfördes och litteratursökningen gjordes i databaserna PubMed, PsycInfo och Cinahl. Sexton artiklar kvalitetsgranskades och analyserades textnära.

The aim of this study is to through six interviews, with six experienced, social workers?, in three cities, understand how the child?s position in the Swedish child protective services? enquiries has change, and the factors behind it. The aim is also to compare if the social workers? view of the child?s position in the enquire has change accordingly to Socialstyrelsens intentions of BBIC. The theoretical approaches that was used is the new institutionalism, the Shier?s pathways to participation and the term discretion.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka upplevd stress och stressymtom hos sjukgymnaster inom öppen och slutenvård i Norrbotten. Studiens resultat baserades på en webbenkät som innehöll frågor om stressupplevelsen, fysiska, psykiska och känslomässiga symtom och besvär, samt frågor om personal- och arbetsbörda. Försökspersonerna bestod av sjukgymnaster verksamma inom öppen- och slutenvården i Norrbottens läns landsting. Av de 63 sjukgymnaster som ingick i studien var 10 procent mycket stressade och 46 procent lite stressade och resterande inte stressade. Sammanfattning Syfte och frågeställningar: Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur individen hanterar sin stress i termer av livsstilsbeteenden, där särskilt fysisk aktivitet stod i fokus. ?Hur upplever individen att fysisk aktivitet påverkar upplevelsen av stress?? och ?Vilken roll spelar arbetsmiljön för upplevelsen av stress samt fysisk aktivitet?? användes som frågeställningar. Metod: En kvalitativ studie som grundar sig i intervjuer utifrån en intervjuguide som kan beskrivas som ?riktat öppen?.

The Swedish concept of bildning, related to the German Bildung, finding its correspondence in English in refinement, formation and culture, is an important, though traditional rather than modern concept in cultural policy and sphere. The concept connected to the activity of the public library is relevant, as the library uses the word as a description of parts of its work. The meaning of the concept can easily be seen to be complex as well as disputed, borders on and is related to other concepts. The paper discusses different meanings to the concept according to different Swedish authors, as well as the connection of the concept to related ones. The varieties and differences are expressed as differences in discourse.

Aim: The aim of this study was to describe what nurses experienced in connection with waiting time related frustration among patients and relatives in the emergency department and also what strategies nurses use to manage waiting time related frustration.Background: The numbers of emergency department visits are increasing and lead to waiting times which can cause frustration among patients and relatives, a frustration that nurses encounter in their everyday work and need strategies to deal with.Methods: This is a descriptive qualitative study. Interviews are conducted with five nurses, transcribed and analyzed by qualitative content analysis.Findings: The nurses feel inadequate and powerless when they meet patients and relatives frustration. In order to deal with patients and relatives frustration, they use the strategy of participation, which implies to involve and meet patients and relatives needs for information and to be seen. In order to prevent themselves becoming frustrated they use adaptability, by creating an inner calm, not take it personally and to distance themselves from the frustration.Conclusion: The result highlights the importance of managing the activity to reduce waiting time related frustration, for example through reflection and working for reducing waiting times. Suicid har minskat i Sverige de senaste decennierna men ändå är suicid den vanligaste dödsorsaken bland män i åldersgruppen 15-44 år och bland kvinnor i samma åldersgrupp är det den näst vanligaste dödsorsaken. ....

I det moderna samhället är det många faktorer som leder till upplevelsen av stress. Dessa faktorer kan bland annat bero på samhällets snabba förändringar, de höga kraven, och att vi ska finnas till hands större delen av dygnet. Kombinerar man dessa faktorer med individens olika sociala roller är risken hög att individen upplever kraven som stressande. Förutom arbetets krav existerar även krav efter arbetet när man måste ägna sig åt familjen. Min studie fokuserar på att ta reda på vilka faktorer som kan ge upphov till stress hos arbetande föräldrar.

Introduktion: Stress blir ett allt vanligare problem och är därför viktigt att förebygga. Natu- ren och fysisk aktivitet är två viktiga komponenter både i förebyggande och behandlande syfte. Denna studie undersöker om träning utomhus har en större reducerande effekt på stress än träning inomhus samt om det skiljer sig i stressnivå mellan kvinnor och män. Metod: Två grupper med studenter jämfördes, en grupp som huvudsakligen tränar inomhus och en som tränar utomhus. För att kartlägga deltagarnas aktivitetsvanor och stressnivå användes enkäter, varav 83 var brukbara.

Bakgrund: Det blir allt vanligare att företag i både privat och offentlig sektor bedriver verksamhet i projektform. Numera använder även vissa företag projektformen som det dominerande sättet att driva verksamheten. Projekt leder till att nya och större krav ställs på den anställde med okända svårigheter att övervinna, konflikter att lösa samt nya utmaningar att möta. Samtidigt ser vi en ökande utbredning av långtidssjukskrivna på grund av stressrelaterade sjukdomar. Beror denna stress på höga arbetskrav och nedskärningar i arbetslivet eller på nya organisationsideal som råder i dagens samhälle? Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att utifrån individens perspektiv studera huruvida arbetsförhållanden motsvarande de kriterier vilka ingår i projektarbete, kan komma att leda till stress för individen.

The aim of this study is to investigate how different organizations and authorities work and collaborate to make children of mentally ill parents more visible. The question formulations, which are used in our research, are:- How do different organizations and authorities work to make children of mentally ill parents more visible and how can this work be improved?- How do laws and guidelines affect the organizations and authorities work to make children of mentally ill parents more visible? - Is there any collaboration between the different organizations and authorities concerning work with children of mentally ill parents, and how does that work appear? A qualitative method strategy was chosen to gather an in-depth understanding of the informant?s experiences and to collect descriptive information. Six organizations and authorities were selected from the comprehension that they could be important in giving support and because it is possible for them to pay attention to these children. Interviews were performed by using a half- structured interview guide.

The purpose of this essay is to examine how social welfare secretaries from the social service and welfare officers from adult psychiatry experience the cooperation between themselves in relation to mentally ill mothers and their children.Moreover, the study aims to shed light on social welfare secretaries and welfare officers views on potential gender related differences in the work with mentally ill mothers and fathers.Five qualitative interviews were performed in two separate municipals in the Stockholm area. Three of the respondents were social welfare secretaries in the social services and two were welfare officers in the adult psychiatry. Our theoretical starting point has been role theory and a model of different dimensions of cooperation.Our result showed that there were shortcomings in the cooperation between the two principals. How well the cooperation worked differed between the two municipals. In one of the examined municipals the cooperation could only be found on an individual client or individual patient case level, whilst in the other municipal the cooperation existed on a more general level in the form of project meetings.

Do the commercials influence the consumptionbehaviour? Do the commercials influence the lifestyle? Do the influences of the commercial construct the individual lifestyle? In which extent is it social related?Material/Method: Together with literature studies, a qualitative method has been used with 5 interviews with young adults in the age of 19-25 in Uppsala. I have compared these five interviews with earlier results and research.Main Results: I have found out that these young adults don?t want to admit being influenced by commercials even if they know they are. These young adults have also formed consumptionbehaviour after the commercials, which they show in for example their way of shopping and their way of acting afterwards.
