Syftet var att med hjälp av en enkätstudie undersöka om det fanns någon skillnad i upplevd autonomi mellan högskolestudenter som upplevde sig ha lägre grad av stress i vardagslivet och de studenter som upplever sig ha högre grad av stress i vardagslivet. Studiens syfte var även att undersöka om det fanns skillnader i upplevd autonomi mellan män och kvinnor. Resultatet visade att det förekom en huvudeffekt mellan deltagarnas upplevda stress och autonomi. Resultatet visade att det inte fanns någon huvudeffekt av kön och inte någon interaktionseffekt mellan kön och stress..

Aims The aim of this study was to investigate how personnel within food control are regarded from different perspectives and to find the answers to the sub questions:- what is included in the profession of food control?- what are the requirements for personnel within the profession of food control?- how is the profession perceived from different perspectives?- how do personnel within the profession of food control estimate their psycho social working conditions?Method The study included 68 individuals (34 female and 34 male) and was conducted via observations, web-based surveys and survey-based interviews. Conclusion - The study was feasible.- The overall goal of the study as well as the research questions were answered to and contributed to clarify what is included in the profession of food control. - Quality measures should be implemented to greater extent within the development of the national food control system..

Stress är ett ämne som är högaktuellt i dagens samhälle. Flera yrkeskategorier befinner sig i riskzonen för utbrändhet, däribland lärare. Syftet med det här arbetet är att tydliggöra och lyfta fram hur lärare och elever upplever skolmiljön med utgångspunkt i begreppet stress. Vet man det kan man sedan arbeta för att det ska bli bättre. Arbetet inleds med en litteraturgenomgång där läsaren får kännedom om vad stress är.

Vårt syfte med arbetet var att ta reda på om barn känner sig stressade men även hur ofta och hur mycket stress de känner av. Vi valde att genom enkäter undersöka detta. Resultatet vi fick visar på att majoriteten av vår undersökningsgrupp känner stress regelbundet. Dock blir de inte speciellt stressade när de väl utsätts för stress. Deras reaktioner på stressen är i huvudsak ilska eller illamående men även andra mindre konsekvenser.

Control of a diesel engine equipped with Variable Geometry Turbine (VGT) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) requires a multivariable control method. One problem is that the engine system is non-linear. Furthermore there are strong cross-connections between inputs and outputs and the inputs have alsoboundaries. To be able to manage these control problems, MPC has been used that is a multivariable method. The MPC-controller consists of an optimization problem and therefore MPC can find the optimum control signals in an easy way.

Stress and burnout is a common healthproblem among different workcategories today. The aim of this study was to investigate possible presence of stress and burnout among radiographers and if there was a connection to number of years in the profession. Maslach Burnout Inventory was used as an instrument to investigate the possible presence of  burnout, supplemented with questions about stress. The instrument contained a total of 33 questions and was handed out to two hospitals in south of Sweden with a total of 51 respondents. The study showed that the most stressful situations arose due to workload, negative stress, bad working environment and high time pressure.

Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka vilka faktorer som eventuellt skulle kunna ha samband med stress kopplat till IT-användning. 75 besvarade enkäter låg till grund för analysen. The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine the function of the budget as a means of control within an organisation in the public sector. To accomplish this, a case study has been conducted on a certain business unit within Luftfartsverket responsible for providing Air Traffic Control services. The thesis is built on a framework of contemporary theories of budgeting and includes a brief discussion of the weaknesses usually associated with the traditional budget. The conclusion of the study is that the use of budget as a means of financial control within Luftfartsverket is not efficient enough at the moment.

Mental ill-health has increased in the community and especially among young people. Stress is considered as a conduciveness cause to the increasing mental ill-health and stress can lead to angst, worry, depression etcetera. The purpose with this study is to investigate how school nurses and welfare officers in high schools within defines and works with stress among the youths. The study also investigates how the school nurses and the welfare officers work to prevent stress in the schools and if there is cooperation between the two professions. The study is based on a social constructive perspective and a system-thinking.

Arbetets syfte är att ge underlag för verksamheten i förskolan så att den bättre ska kunna anpassas strukturellt till barnens behov genom att minska negativ stress och synliggöra den positiva stressen. Problem solving is a big part of design, however a lot of emphasis is put on creativity in research related to the effects of stress. Research has shown that the amount of stress we feel affects idea generation. Stress may also affect the ability to solve problems, however the researchers don?t seem to agree about what the effect of stress actually does.The study was made through experimental sessions where the respondents were asked to solve 4 matchstick puzzles of similar difficulty. Depending on their outcome they experienced more or less stress.

To be allowed to sell Z-suspended vehicles with dipped beam Xenon or LED lighting, Scania have to develop automatic headlight level control. This master?s thesis aims to be the foundation to that development.The thesis consists of several parts; a market analysis of how competitors to Scania and the general vehicle industry solve this problem; several available principles for detecting the amount of control needed; the construction of a test station for sensors, a control unit and components connected controlled by the control unit; a further theoretical and practical development of one principle ? one rotational sensor connected between the chassis and the back drive axis; a state flow model programmed in Simulink that produces the control signal for the headlight leveling from the sensor input.Lastly the thesis gives some recommendations to the further development and implementation of automatic headlight level control on Scania vehicles..

Stress är ett aktuellt ämne i dagens samhälle. Tidigare forskning har påvisat en koppling mellan stress, personlighet och kön. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om det fanns något samband mellan upplevd stress och karaktärsdraget neuroticism, med hänsyn till kön bland studenter. PSS och SGC-1 formulären delades ut till 109 studenter, varav 62 män och 47 kvinnor. Resultatet av studien visade att det fanns ett positivt samband mellan upplevd stress och neuroticism, när det kontrollerades för kön.

Many of the mistakes, where the nurses are involved are due to the nurses? stress.The aim of this study was to gather information to describe causes of stress in nursing care and the nurses? experience of stress influence on health care.The method that was chosen for this study was a literature review where scientific, critically reviewed articles were analyzed.  The analysis resulted in two main themes.
