Den svenska polisens inre och yttre motivation

Motivation är en viktig komponent för att en person ska kunna genomföra en uppgift. Men hur personen handskas med uppgiften beror på vilken typ av motivation denne drivs av och i vilken grad. Tidigare forskning har visat att exempelvis stress har en negativ påverkan på motivation. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur kön, ålder, antal arbetade år och stress är relaterad till inre och yttre motivation hos poliser i yttre tjänst. Deltagarna bestod av 142 personer, varav 36 stycken var kvinnor.

Kvinnliga arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av arbetsrelaterad stress

Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva kvinnliga arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av arbetsrelaterad stress samt hur de hanterar detta. Sju kvinnliga arbetsterapeuter mellan 31-43 år som varit verksamma som arbetsterapeuter minst sex månader och var anställda inom landsting eller kommun intervjuades med ostrukturerade intervjuer. Intervjun inleddes med en övergripande frågeställning där intervjupersonerna ombads att berätta om en arbetsdag där de upplevt stress i arbetet. Som analysmetod användes kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i tre kategorier som kan kopplas till arbetsrelaterad stress: ?Att arbetsuppgifter ändras?, ?Att arbetstiden inte räcker till? och ?Att arbetet inte respekteras?.

Lugnande tro : En statistisk analys av korrelationen mellan religion, stress och psykologiskt välbefinnande

Trots de diskussioner angående religionens roll som förts mellan ateister och teister på senare år verkar det finnas få statistiska undersökningar på religionens roll som sänkare av stress och höjare av psykologiskt välbefinnande. Denna uppsats bidrar till den forskning på området som finns. Undersökningen utfördes genom att ett antal hypoteser med grund i en amerikansk undersökning från 2001 samt Maslows behovsteorier ställdes upp och testades genom Pearsons produktmomentkorrelationskoefficient för att hitta samband mellan religiöst deltagande, stress och psykologiskt välbefinnande. Resultaten blev följande: Religion verkar huvudsakligen sänka stress och höja psykologiskt välbefinnande genom att besvara djupa existentiella frågor, medan exempelvis socialt stöd och hälsosamt leverne verkar vara sekundärt. Resultaten från uppsatsen har även visst stöd från den amerikanska undersökningen.

Hälsofrämjande åtgärder mot arbetsrelaterad stress: en studie av stressorer inom arbetets organisation

Denna uppsats handlar om arbetsrelaterad stress samt hälsofrämjande åtgärder som kan vidtas för att motverka denna. Syftet med vår uppsats var att undersöka om faktorer inom arbetsorganisationen ger upphov till stress hos medarbetarna. Vi genomförde en enkätundersökning där medarbetare inom både offentlig och privat sektor medverkade. Vi fann att de stressorer som medarbetarna upplever orsakar stress på arbetsplatsen är bland annat hög arbetsbelastning, höga krav i kombination med låg kontroll, brist på stöd och uppmuntran från arbetskamrater samt brist på information. Vi fann även att det finns en del skillnader mellan offentlig och privat sektor.

During 2012 they saw the amount of notifications of insurance increasing in Sweden, which is a development that cost our society a great deal of money. With the aim to pursue a sustainable development I have therefore devoted this project to wellness and stress management within preschool.The employees of preschool are often dealing with a lot of stress, due to the big groups of children that causes high noise and sound levels. The high noise and sound levels is a contributor to stress which additionally can damage the health and cause impaired hearing loss. About half of the people around their forties until the age of retirement have difficulties understanding speech in large groups.The purpose of this project has been to investigate the causes of negative stress for my target group, women between 30-60 years old who works in preschool.

Fysisk aktivitet och stress : Erfarenheter från ett kommunalt energi- och vattenbolag

En stor del av dagens sjukskrivningar beror på psykisk ohälsa och fysisk inaktivitet och har blivit ett folkhälsoproblem. Stress beror av relationen mellan individ och miljö, där individens självuppfattning och verklighetsupplevelse är av betydelse för upprätthållandet av välbefinnande. Stress uppkommer av flera olika orsaker, stressorer, vilka skiljer sig människor emellan. Fysisk aktivitet har visat sig ha en positiv inverkan både i att förebygga och behandla stress och företagssköterskan kan genom hälsorådgivning ha en betydande roll för yrkesverksammas fysiska aktivitetsutövande. Syftet med studien var att beskriva den fysiska aktivitetens betydelse för den upplevda stressnivån bland anställda inom ett kommunalt energi- och vattenbolag.

Strategies for Coping with Reading and Writing Difficulties in Daily Life  This study investigated how seven young adults, who during senior high school underwent a syllable based intervention due to reading and writing difficulties, developed their literacy skills, and what strategies they used to try to overcome reading and writing problems, whether at work, during studies or in their leisure time. The period from when the participants had left school ranged between three and eight years. Qualitative as well as quantitative data was compiled for the study. Qualitative data consisted of  semistructured interviews and quantitative data of tests performed before the intervention and on two occasions after, in order to compare results over time.
