Första linjens chefer, administration och New Public Management : En studie av New Public Managements inverkan på första linjens chefers administrativa arbete i vården

Title: First line management, administration and New Public Management Level: Final assignment for Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, 15hp.Author: Patrik Jansson & Victor HolmlundSupervisor: Pär Vilhelmson, Kristina Mickelsson & Elena AhmadiDate: 2015 - May Aim: The purpose of this study is to increase the understanding of how first line management in public organizations is effected by New Public Management related reforms and how they handle related administrative tasks.  Method: The study is based on a deductive and qualitative methodology. We conducted 10 semi-structured interviews with first line managers in Swedish public healthcare organizations. A result is reached by a thematically constructed analysis were citations are presented and analyzed. Result & Conclusions: The study shows through the model that has been used that first line managers are highly affected by administrative tasks that can be linked to New Public Management. The participant managers see these related tasks as important for the organizations and natural in their profession. Contribution of the thesis: The study contributes with an increased understanding of the managing of first line managers and how it is affected by New Public Management related administration through a perspective that is lacking in previous research. Karriärsnätverk - En studie om chefers användning av kontaktnät

På dagens arbetsmarknad diskuteras det hur arbetssökande enklast får jobb. En av de vanligaste metoderna inom jobbsökande är att använda sig av kontakter. Dessa underlättar vägen till jobb för den arbetssökande genom att kontakten ger information, tips, råd och referenser som är till hjälp för den arbetssökandes jobbchanser. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur chefer inom olika branscher har nått sina chefspositioner och vilken nytta de har haft av sina sociala kapital.Undersökningen baseras på sex stycken intervju där respondenterna är jämt könsfördelade, det vill säga att tre av dem är kvinnor och resterande tre är män. Dessa är i sin tur stationerade inom olika branscher och verksamheter.

The cause has been debated and several explanations have been discussed. Although, many women have succeeded to reach top positions by making some more or less deliberate decisions that might have been decisive for their careers.The main purpose of this study is to analyse what women who aim for a successful career should be aware of regarding their choices of education and profession. Moreover, the importance of different circumstances for the development of women?s career opportunities has been inquired into.

Socionomen som chef inom va?rden : En kvalitativ studie av mo?tet mellan medicinsk och social kompetens

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how social workers, working in a management position in the health care system, perceive the encounter of the medical and social perspective. With seven qualitative interviews, the study tries to conclude whether or not social workers are accepted at managerial positions within the health care sector. The social worker is, as a manager in health care, a leader but at the same time in a professional alienation from the medical caregivers. Organizations in the health care sector are often multi professional and have their own long standing tradition, history and culture. The results show that the conditions for social workers, working in a management position in health care appear to be agreeable.

Prisetikettens roll i kundens köpprocess - En kartläggning av kundernas användande av prisinformation i den svenska dagligvaruhandeln

When patrolling grocery stores, customers engage in a purchase situation where they face great amounts of information, whereof price is one. This paper intends to shed light on the price information search behavior that customer's exhibit before choosing their products in grocery stores. In order to do so two studies have been conducted, one quantitative and one qualitative, to assemble the data needed to provide statistically significant results. The objective of the quantitative study is to gather data on customer's external price information search, and it is based on the most recent eye-tracking technology. The second qualitative study is complementary and based on interviews with randomly chosen customers that have responded to several questions regarding their price information search, shopping knowledge and experiences.

Worldwide consumption of cheese has increased over the years. The average Swede consumes somewhere around 20 kilograms of cheese per year, which is an increase of a 100 % over the past 50 years. Analys av QoS i mellanvaran Meteor

This thesis is closely related to the Dynamically Self-Configuring Automotive System(DySCAS) project. DySCAS is a middleware for electronics in an automotive system. Thethesis work has been performed in cooperation with ENEA. Parts of the demonstrationplatform Self configurable High Availability and Policy based platform for Embeddedsystem (SHAPE) developed for the DySCAS project by ENEA have been used in theimplementation phase of this master thesis.The goal of this thesis was to evaluate how the Meteor MW, an offspring of the DySCASmiddleware, should handle QoS and to design a Quality of Service Manager (QoSM) for theMeteor MW that fulfilled hard real-time requirements. The thesis also had the objectiveof analysing and identifying the requirements on such a QoSM from a QoS perspective.Specifically the requirements to guarantee real-time support for applications running onthe MW.

Earlier studies have shown that musculoskeletal disorders among animal keepers are more frequent than in other occupations. Most of the farms have expanded and the farmers who used to work alone have suddenly become a work manager with several employers. There are only a few studies made on the work environment in dairy farms. Our study is based on a questionnaire and is a part of a project called large dairy herds. The study is based on data from the persons who milk most of the time. The questions they had to answer were about the work environment, musculoskeletal disorders and the psychosocial environment. The results of the survey are presented in diagrams and figures. It was common that the dairy producer themselves answered the questionnaire.

Lojalitetsskapande genom Mass Customization : Hur skapas kundlojalitet när kunden är chefsdesigner?

Konfektionsbranschen har sedan tidigt 1900-talat fungerat genom ett massproducerande maskineri som erbjudit ett likriktat utbud till sina kunder, kunder som ansetts vara en enda stor massa, idag har konsumenter en större insikt i sin egen konsumtion och en stor vilja att påverka. Tack vare den tredje industriella revolutionen är ett nytt paradigmskifte på väg, kunden involveras i design- och produktutvecklingsprocessen och resultatet är att en unik produkt kan produceras samtidigt som företaget uppnår stordriftsfördelar genom modularisering, detta kallas för Mass Customization. Forskning visar att kundinvolvering ofta leder till en lojal kund och utifrån detta är uppsatsens syfte undersöka hur konfektionsföretag inom Mass Customization arbetar med att skapa kundlojalitet. Uppsatsen utgår från en kvalitativ metod där intervjuer med företagen Tailor Store Sweden AB och Suitopia Scandinavia AB är grunden för informationsinsamlingen. Analysarbetet har en teoretisk syntes som utgångspunkt, syntesen bygger på teorier gällande relationsmarknadsföring, kundanpassningar, hur företag skapar lojala kunder samt e-lojalitet.

Kommunikation : En kvalitativ studie av hur det verbala samtalet under en livsmedelskontroll uppfattades av livsmedelsföretagare

Då matförgiftningarna runt om i världen stadigt ökar, har livsmedelsinspektörernas roll att kontrollera hur livsmedelsföretagen uppfyller livsmedelslagstiftningen blivit allt viktigare. År 2006 ändrades den svenska livsmedelslagstiftningen till att bli mer överensstämmande med EU:s livsmedelslagstiftning. I och med denna förändring ändrades livsmedelsinspektörernas roll till att kontrollera hur väl livsmedelsföretagens rutiner för egenkontroll uppfyller livsmedelslagstiftningen. För att kommunikationen under de kontroller som livsmedelsinspektörerna utför på livsmedelsföretagen ska kunna fungera på ett effektivt och noggrant sätt, krävs det att båda parter hjälps åt. Då forskningen inom det aktuella området idag kan ses som bristfällig, har detta legat till grund för detta examensarbetes inriktning.

En beskrivning av manuellt test : Svagheter och styrkor med och utan stöd avett testverktyg

Test is an area in system development. Test can be performed manually or automated. Test activities can be supported by Word documents and Excel sheets for documenting and executing test cases and as well for follow up, but there are also new test tools designed to support and facilitate the testing process and the activities of the test. This study has described manual test and identified strengths and weaknesses of manual testing with a testing tool called Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and of manual testing using test cases and test log templates developed by the testers at Sogeti. The result that emerged from the problem and strength analysis and the analysis of literature studies and firsthand experiences (in terms of creating, documenting and executing test cases) addresses the issue of the following weaknesses and strengths.

It consisted of six semi-structured interviews with Store managers and employees on Willys and Coop in Sala and in Nyköping. Secondly a quantitative study was performed in the form of a questionnaire with 80 consumers in Willys and Coop stores located in Sala and Nyköping.Result & Conclusions: We have seen that price is important when consumers decide whether to buy organic food or not. This has been noticed by the food chains who work actively with being able to offer organic food at lower prices. Other factors that affect the consumers choice to buy organic products are offers, displaying and advertising.

AbstractThe purpose of the present study was to clarify and describe what image men and women present and communicate in their profiles on an online dating site. Further has been investigated if traditional gender roles and stereotypes are as pronounced on this online platform or if it offers a space to go beyond traditional formations. The theoretical framework of this study consisted of a social psychological idea and understanding of identity as well as a gender theoretical perspective. The methodological points of departure were hermeneutic and the data consisted of ten male and ten female member profiles on match.com. The results of the study was divided into three themes, the emphasis on positive qualities, the attractive body and project manager to one?s own life.

Att ta vara på solens fulla uppvärmningskapacitet

The purpose of this bachelor´s report is to expand the knowledge about heat supply of a small house in Malmö. The heat supply will be provided from solar panels in combination to two accumulator tanks which will storage the up heated water and a pellet boiler.The technique used here is warmth storage in water over seasons, which will provide the total need of heating for the house. Accumulator tanks in combination to solar panels gets more and more common in Sweden but this far it´s unusual to use it for storage over seasons. This report will highlight many of the difficulties associated whit heat storage and give information about a system's possible design and function.The design of this system is decided early on. An accumulator tank is placed 2 meters down in the earth on the backside of the house.
