We are getting smarter. Our knowledge of the world around us is increasing rapidly and our population spend a big portion of their time in school studying it. But art and craft are moving out to give room for more theoretical subjects. Today many of us can not even fix a torn shirt without help. We buy new ones, they are cheap enough.

The aim of this study was to examine how heads of unit in charge of personal assistance (PA)for the disabled experience and handle ethical dilemmas and situations within theirworkgroups when The Work Environment Act and The Swedish Act Concerning Support andService for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments collide with each other. The methodof the study was to use semi-structured interviews based around three main topics; the head ofunits opinions about the value and purpose of The Work Environment Act in theadministering and implementation of personal assistance services, the problem solvingprocess and the head of units own individual experiences of ethical dilemmas or workenvironment-related conflicts or situations within their workgroups. Four heads of unit wereinterviewed for this study. The results of this study showed that the interviewed heads of unitexperienced a lack of clear and factual information about how they were meant to solvedilemmas emerging from the two laws conflicting with each other regarding the rights of thecare recipient to layout their personal assistance to their liking, versus the rights of thepersonal assistant to have acceptable working conditions. The heads of unit could not rely onlegislation and/or other specific directive documents when work environment-relatedproblems arose.

Syfte: Denna uppsats kommer att behandla det ständigt växande problemet med företag som sysslar med bluffaktureringar. Det huvudsakliga syftet med uppsatsen är att förklara vad fakturaskojeri är, hur man kommer åt dessa verksamheter med hjälp av de lagar som finns, vilka rättsfall man kan stödja sig på samt om det kan behövas en lagändring.Metod: Vi kommer utifrån rättsfall på det aktuella ämnet besvara vår frågeställning. Genom att studera rättsfallen och se på de domslut som framkommit, vill vi utvärdera om lagen är tillräcklig. I övrigt använder vi oss av artiklar från näringslivet, rapporter från myndigheter, telefonintervjuer, lagtexter, lagutskottets betänkande samt doktrin.Slutsats: I takt med antalet ökande anmälningar mot företag som bedriver annons- och fakturaskojeri har problemet uppmärksammats allt mer. Bluffakturabolag är ett bolag som ställer ut fakturor som inte är beställda.

For none of the companies profile and image did not have a full connection, but a lot of times there were parts of the profile and image that had a connection. The questioned states that they get their opinions from merchandise, stores, store employees and different kinds of advertising.

För de allra flesta räcker det med kniv, gaffel och sked som hjälpmedel. En liten grupp behöver ytterligare hjälpmedel för att föra maten till munnen. Syftet med Bestic är att användaren ska kunna känna den frihet som ligger i att kunna äta själv.Det nyuppstartade företaget Bestic AB är i dagsläget i en fas där de behöver introducera sin produkt för allmänheten.

Social media on the Web has become more common over the last decade and in recent years it has grown immensely. The social media with the highest amount of members is Facebook, where not only private persons are found - companies started to establish their profiles on the network in 2006. However, little is known about how these companies succeed and reach their audience with information dissemination and interact with them. The aim of this study is to contribute with information to local companies on how they can manage to maintain their activity with different approaches and strategies. This study examines how three different local companies chooses to spread information and maintain relationships with their members on Facebook.

The equine hoof is often manipulated in purpose to achieve a better stride or to reduce the weight on damaged tissue. The living tissue in the hoof can?t store energy as glycogen and is therefore depending on a continuous supply of glucose for its energy production. The purpose of the study was to determine if wedging (i.e. elevating) the heel could influence the hooves glucose and lactate consumption/production. Five standardbred horses were trained to trot on a treadmill without getting physical or mentally tired.

This thesis is the result of the investigation and solution of a mechanicalproblem regarding flywheel malfunctions. A flywheel is, in short, a devicethat relies on a rotating object?s moment of inertia to store energy overshort time spans. This project is part of the development of a fourthflywheel prototype at the division for electricity at Uppsala university,which uses magnetic levitation to keep a hollow cylinder rotating at veryhigh speeds inside a vacuum chamber. Should the magnets fail however, orsome other error occur that leads to an uncontrolled state of rotation, thecylinder needs to be stabilized mechanically by a device usually referredto as ?back-up bearing?.

Produktionssystemet på Mega Teknik AB i Landskrona är organiserat på ett sätt som erbjuder förbättringsmöjligheter vad gäller ordning, slöserier och flöden. Verksamheten har över åren expanderat kraftigt till en omsättning på 63.3 miljoner kronor. Produktionen har inte utvecklats i takt med försäljningen och det finns därför behov av förbättring. Layouten har förändrats sedan verksamheten startade och följer inte längre de markeringar som finns på golvet. Det finns ingen fungerande förslagsverksamhet och saknas en ansvarig produktionsledare med tid att driva igenom förbättringar och förändringar.Syftet med examensarbetet var att förbättra produktionssystemet.

Abstract The purpose of this project is to develop a modular processor card which is intended to work as a platform for Kitron Development Karlskoga. The modular processor card is meant to be used as a control system in development projects, mainly in medical and industrial products. The processor card will consist of a central unit with the basic functions for a control system. Furthermore there will be complete modules with machine commodity and programming, to pick exactly the necessary functions for a specific application. With consideration to the specification of the development and the main unit, I chose an adequate microprocessor (AT90CAN32) as core and interface circuits to stated border areas. The construction is first completed in the program MultiSim and then remade in the program OrCAD Capture. The programming language C was used in the software model.

Den explosivt ökande mängden information som finns tillgänglig på Internet har även sina avigsidor. Att hitta meningsfull information och kunskap på Internet idag blir allt svårare. Behovet av verktyg som kan hjälpa individer och företag att ta fram värdefull information, speciellt tidskritisk sådan på ett effektivt sätt, är och kommer att bli mycket stort. Likaså kommer behovet av att komma åt denna information, oberoende av tid och plats att vara stort och bli allt större i takt med den ständigt accelererande utvecklingstakten. Vi har försökt att belysa hypotesens komplexitet och visa på det faktum att inte bara en utan många beståndsdelar spelar in vid skapandet av en personanpassad informationsportal. Arbetet har grundat sig på att identifiera de krav som skulle kunna ställas på grundläggande funktioner.

Totalt 57 artiklar.Material: Djupintervjuer med tidningsläsarna samt innehållsanalys av tidning.Huvudresultat: Jag kan efter sammanställda resultat konstatera att utformningen har betydelse för hur engagerad publiken blir kring mediet. En förändring av tidningen är nödvändig för dess existens för att på sikt breddasig även i sitt innehåll så att den tilltalar även den yngre läsaren. En tänkbar målgrupp är unga läsarstudenter med intresse för utbildning inom det svenska språket samt vår kultur.

Detta arbete är en undersökning om vad en Jailbreaking av iPhone OS kan tillföra för en vanlig användare och även de utökade möjligheterna för utvecklare. Det syftar till att ge en lätt överskådlig förklaring om hur jailbreaking fungerar och vilka fördelar och nackdelar som följer med det valet.Det var ett personligt intresse för modifikation av operativsystem som gav grunden för valet av denna undersökning. Efter det egna införskaffandet av en iPhone 3Gs i slutet av 2009 utvecklades intresset för jailbreaking, något som successivt byggdes upp till en passion att vilja undersöka en iPhones fulla potential.I rapporten kommer ett antal jämförelser att göras mellan ett native iPhone OS och ett Jailbreakat iPhone OS. Versionen är 3.1.3, vilken är den senaste stabila. Det presenteras viktiga paket som bevis för vad de extra funktioner som kan uppnås genom användandet av jailbreak.

I want to look at the possibilities to start selling hot water from a small district heating plant with bioenergy. My reason for doing this project is to look at a new business opportunity for our farm. Our company have less work during the winter time compared to the spring and this project will give us more work during the winter. I also want to take as much material as possible for heating from our farm in order to increase the value of the products from the farm. The project is in a village near us, where we should support a school, a churh, a home for the aged, a kindergarten and a parish hall with heat. In my work I have compared two different alternatives with each other. The first alternative is to put a central heater in one of the buildings, the home for the aged, in which we will burn oat.
