Utvecklingen och utbredningen av datanät blir allt större, och företag lägger mycket pengar på att hålla sig väl framme i utvecklingen. Samtidigt är dagens teleräkningar av en sådan dignitet att mycket pengar läggs ned på detta område också. Syftet med vår rapport är att undersöka om IP-telefoni, där datanät baserade på IP (Internet Protocol), även kan förmedla samtal på ett för företagen tillfredsställande sätt. På detta sätt kan stora pengar sparas, då det traditionella telenätet kan rationaliseras bort. Vi begränsade oss till att undersöka tre företag som idag använder IP- telefoni.

The aim for the project is to find a simplemethod to measure and display physical quantities in a three dimensional room.The report describes a method to construct a system for measuring differentphysical quantities via sensors. The system must be built in a modular and expandable way tobe adaptable to different tasks.The system explained in the report consists of two parts;A physical scanner with moveable probes for carrying sensors and a microcontroller forcontrolling the probes and communicating with the next part.An application written in Java for storing the measured values and presenting them in a lucidperspective.It is possible to construct the scanner with different designs and circuitry, with multiplexers andflip-flops, to ensure that an unspecified number of probes can be added to the system and thatthey can be operated simultaneously.The Java application is written in a modular way, using a design pattern that separates eachindividual part of the application. It contains exceptions and interfaces that ensure a safe andexpandable application..

This is a thesis project in the field of information technology which begins by evaluating existing food price comparison systems and subsequently aims to design an improved, web based system for said purpose. The system features interfaces for price reporting, price comparisons as well as various search and review functions. The objective is to create a system able to compete with existing price comparison systems, which requires careful selection of products that can be found in all foodstores that also represent different households; a user-friendly price reporting and price comparison interface and an efficient tool for ensuring the validity of reported prices.The designed system features a more accurate formula for calculating average prices in events where the real price is missing; a more reliable security mechanism forv alidation of reported prices and a more comprehensible interface for viewing price reports, reporting prices, reviewing stores and products in comparison with existing systems. The system does, however, suffer from some optimization issues primarily in the form of inefficient database modeling; SQL queries and JavaScript code although testing has shown that these shortcomings do not hamper overall performance to such a degree that usability is compromised. Further usability testing performed on the system with five test subjects shows that a high level of overall user-friendliness has been achieved even though some special features, such as the detailed report containing price information per product for each store need to be improved.It is not possible to say at this time whether or not the designed system will be able to compete with existing ones or if the very concept of food price comparisons per se is viable in terms of profitability and marketability.

För att skapa förutsättningar för en mer hållbar levnadsstil har ett koncept som heter permakultur utvecklats. Permakultur kan användas som designverktyg vid bland annat planering av odlingar, byggnation, energi- och vattenförsörjning samt stadsplanering. Förutom observationer av naturliga ekosystem bygger permakultur på kunskaper från traditionellt lantbruk samt moderna tekniska och vetenskapliga kunskaper.Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att utarbeta ett gestaltningsförslag för en trädgård med odlingsterrasser och en damm i odlingszon 4-5 som bygger på permakulturprinciper. Utgångspunkt för mitt planeringsarbete är Växhusets Ekocentrum i södra Hälsingland, där man planerar att anlägga en trädgård i samband med grundandet av en ekoby.Litteratursökning, en analys av platsens förutsättningar och en intervju med beställaren utgör grunden för min planeringsprocess.

The aim of the project is to develop a tool for a management system at the advertising agency ofConfetti. The company has during a longer period of time felt a need of introducing a quality and environmentalsystem but have a lack in resources of knowledge, time and money. Their goal is to have aconcrete documentation which describes their quality policy and the function of the activity.The work has been performed by mapping and analyzing the processes of the company according tothe process model with focus on one pilot process. New routines have been developed and documentedin a management system.Confetti would like their management system to fulfil the ISO-standard so that they eventually inthe future can be certified. Therefore a literature study has been done according to management systemsand standards.

Many research reports mention the fact that a huge number of all system development projects never reach a successful ending; with other words never fulfil formulated goals. By identifying and forming success factors (and in some aspect risk factors) that the project manager in practice can use, this study may be seen as a step in the direction towards minimising the high number of failed system development projects. The purpose of this research report is to investigate how a system development project, where the development process is based on a specific development or process model (in this case the Waterfall model), can and should be driven. I aim to clarify what is demanded of a project leader for the specific development process and give an account for which eventual leadership qualities that can be well suited for given situation in relation to the need for technical competence. Among other things the project manager should inspire confidence, drive, be a decision maker, engage and own some form of basic knowledge in the field of system development.

SammanfattningSyftet med denna studie är att undersöka lärares erfarenheter av språkmaterialet Pilen. Vi vill också belysa Pilen-materialet ur perspektiv av tidigare forskning om läs- och skrivinlärning. Vår studie bygger på en enkätundersökning som vi gjorde bland 25 lärare som använder detta undervisningsmaterial samt en observation av ett lektionspass då materialet användes. De resultat vi fick från vår enkätundersökning var övervägande positiva vad gäller barnens motivation, självkänsla och möjligheter att reflektera över sin egen inlärning. Lärarna ansåg även att det gav stora möjligheter att inkludera barn i behov av särskilt stöd i vanlig klassundervisning.

Detta examensarbete vänder sig till personer som är intresserade att använda nya miljövänligametoderna för elproduktion eller personer som redan använder små vindkraftverk ochsolpaneler med behovet av en extra energikälla i små stugor eller avlägsna platser där tillgångentill elnät är omöjligt. Syften i detta arbete är först och främst att bygga ett system förelproduktion med hjälp av en cykel. Sedan bestämma mängden av elektrisk energi en personkan alstra med systemet. Slutligen svara om detta system skulle kunna använda som ettstödsystem för elproduktion i småskalighet.Den första målsättningen är att utforma ett system med användning av kraftelektronik där denkraften som genereras matar lasterna. Den mekaniska delen kommer att konstrueras som en delav energikällan, därefter kommer det att utformas en kontroll för att styra effekten viaelektroniska komponenter, de elektriska belastningarna matas av systemet, kommer attsimuleras.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilken syn förskollärare och lärare i Sydafrika har på barngruppers storlek samt hur de anser att storleken på barngruppen kan påverka barn och elevers lärande. För att få farm ett resultat har intervjuer genomförts med fem pedagoger och en förskolechef som arbetar på förskolor och skolor i Sydafrika. Metoden som användes var en kvalitativ intervjumetod för att få reda på sydafrikanska pedagogers syn på stora barngrupper och lärande. Enligt resultatet är stora barngrupper något som ses som ett problem och det är de flesta intervjupersoner enade om. De påstår att de har för lite resurser, för lite utrymme och för lite med material till de stora barngrupperna.

Funktion och effektivitet på systemen varierar och när kylproblematik uppstår på anläggningen kan anledningarna vara flera. Kylproblematiken kan bero på bristande kylkapacitet, felaktigt injusterade köldbärarflöden eller underdimensionering av distributionssystem samt cirkulationspump.Detta examensarbete har utförts i samarbete med Stora Enso Skoghall och syftet med studien är att kartlägga och analysera deras kylsystems kapacitet, både sett till producerad kyleffekt och möjligheter till distribution på anläggningen. Genom en ökad kännedom av systemets funktion kan optimeringsförslag arbetas fram för att minska risken för kylproblematik och kostsam produktionsbegränsning. Då distributionssystemet är äldre och påbyggt i etapper finns misstankar om att det även finns möjligheter att med modern teknik få systemet att bli mer energieffektivt.

The environment and quality is important for the company too still be the number one on the market, If they want too keep that position the product developed of new innovations will be very important. The systems we have developed are more effective and reduce energy up too 25 %. The process time is reduced too less than two hours, from the today two and half-hour.
