Denna studie behandlar laborativ matematik med syfte att undersöka användningen av laborativt material i matematikundervisningen i årskurs 1. Vi har begränsat studien till att undersöka området aritmetik. Vidare är syftet med undersökningen att ta reda på hur användningen av laborativt material kan påverka inlärningen av matematik. Vi vill även se hur processen ?Från konkret till abstrakt? sker i matematikundervisningen.Inledningsvis i ?Litteraturöversikten? (Se s8) presenteras olika forskningsresultat på området laborativ matematik kring tillgången, förvaringen och användningen av laborativt material.

Mekanotjänst i Söderhamn AB är en uppdragstillverkare som ingår i Mekanotjänst industrier. Företaget är specialiserat på produktion av mekaniska produkter främst ur tunnplåt. Det pågår en utveckling inom företaget som är styrd av efterfrågan. Utvecklingen innebär en ökad förädling genom monteringsarbete. Två nya Ericssonprodukter, POWER SUPPLY SUBRACK och SUBRACK AMM 6p ska börja tillverkas i höga volymer vid Mekanotjänst i Söderhamn AB.

Youth culture and social problems associated with youth groups have existed for decades. We have chosen an explorative case study design to highlight young people's revolt against parents and society and how society has dealt with social problems of youth and how those were perceived. ?Raggare? were considered a major social problem in society. The material in the study comes from eight qualitative interviews and literature of previous research of the current youth culture.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilken roll de förtroendevalda revisorerna fyller i den kommunala revisionen. Metod: Studien baseras på sex kvalitativa fallstudier genomförda i ett urval skånska kommuner, vilka kompletteras med tre expertintervjuer. Studiens empiriska material består av primärdata som insamlats genom personliga intervjuer med respondenter med stor erfarenhet av kommunal revision och speciellt förtroendevalda revisorers arbete. Respondenterna består av dels förtroendevalda revisorer och dels experter inom området. Under studiens gång har sex större områden framkommit, vilka används för att strukturera upp studiens empiriska material.

The Gift 2.0 - A Museological Study of donations of Objects and its Underlying Motives, is a study in order to explain why people choose to donate items for museums, rather than any other alternative.The empirical study consists of qualitative, semi-structured research-interviews conducted with seven selected curators from various museums, with extensive experience of the subject acquisition. I have chosen to only examine Swedish cultural-historical museums. The hypothesis that I assumed was first and foremost that the heritage sphere is what Pierre Bourdieu calls a field. The reason that people would donate objects to museums, is that the donation itself brings cultural capital to the donor, from people with the same habitus. Since I felt that Bourdieus theory of field, capital and habitus could not explain all the reason why people donate items to museum, my second hypotheses was that certain objects are what Annette Weiner called inalienable possessions, objects that at any cost may not be sold or bartered away.

During springterm 2010 Erik Persson and Magnus Hansson performed their ThesisWork with DIAB Laholm, in Hallands County for University of Halmstad.The project has been a product development project without exterior customers. Thusit had a great emphasis on functionality and less emphasis on marketing and such.This reflects the ambition to develop machinery to be used within the productionfacilities of DIAB Laholm, not to be sold to exterior customers.Main objective has been to create machinery which enables the production ofrotational symmetric work pieces within a NC-milling machine with 5 axles. Thework pieces milled will be made of DIAB?s material Divyncell with varyingdensities.The project has followed Fredy Olssons method involving Principal ? Primary ?Manufacturing constructions. However a complete manufacturing construction hasnot been made since DIAB just wanted a good Primary construction which will serveas a base for finishing touches at DIAB.By the end of the project material including calculations has been sent to DIAB andthey will finish the work and manufacture the machine if they find economic viabilityin this.The work method has been suited for this by several reasons, it was created withthese projects in mind and it?s also the method most familiar to us..

Syftet med uppsatsen är att synliggöra och analysera en del av den mångfald som finns blandnågra lärares utomhuspedagogik. Samtidigt vill jag försöka att bidra till en större kunskap omhur lärare kan övervinna de praktiska svårigheter som de möter i sin utomhuspedagogik. Jag haranvänt observation och semistrukturerade kvalitativa intervjuer i min undersökning. Resultatetvisar att lärarnas lektioner bestod av lärarstyrda aktiviteter och fri lek i olika kombinationer.Aktiviteterna kunde kopplas till flera skolämnen; idrott, matematik, biologi, svenska och musik.Många av aktiviteterna övade sociala kunskaper. Lärarna hade lättare att se möjligheter än hittahinder i sin utomhuspedagogik.

The empirical material has then been analysed by applying a two step method, of first making a summary of the interviews and secondly making a comparison with a model of Lennart Weibull ?a typology of the Swedish mediasystem from an audience perspectiv? .Main results:Two different types of ideal media users can be drawn from the empirical research, the ?Investigator? and the ?Updater?. The updater search for news to stay updated and relies on the Internet as main source of information.

The content of teaching materials considerably affects pupils? attitudes and worldview. This paper is an analysis of textbooks used in 7th through 9th grade of the Swedish School system in Swedish as a Second Language (SSL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The purpose of this paper is to look at which minority groups, the five official national minorities as well as other minorities, are included and portrayed in the textbook series Tre gånger svenska and Wings Mini as well as to see if there is any bias in their portrayal. The seven types of bias investigated; invisibility, stereotyping and generalizations, unreality, imbalance and selectivity, fragmentation and isolation, linguistic bias and cosmetic bias are an adaption of the framework to detect bias in curriculum materials presented by Sadker and Zittleman (2002/2003).

Syftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på om det på förskolan förekommer något matematiskt lärande i byggrummet och i så fall vilket matematiskt lärande som sker. Avsikten var också att undersöka vad miljön, materialet och pedagogen har för betydelse för barns matematiska lärande. Undersökning genomfördes på en förskola med hjälp av observationer. Det som observerades var de barn och pedagoger som befann sig i byggrummet och även miljön och vilket material som fanns tillgängligt. Resultatet visar att barnen använder många matematiska begrepp som t.ex.

The purpose of this essay is to illustrate how the position of power / exercise of power are perceived in today's schools from the teacher's perspective. I have examined how students' freedom and democracy education interpreted in real life, and how this affects both teacher and student learning approaches. I would also highlight the need to set standards for children's psychological development related to the consequences will be. I have chosen to perform a qualitative research through individual interviews with five participating teachers from different experiences in different type of school. I have used the hermeneutic method of analysis to analyze the material.

13 individuals from the Viking Age trading place in Fröjel, Gotland, were examined for this thesis. The aim was to gain a deeper knowledge about the individuals, and the main focus was to study their health. Three men, eight women and two children were examined. The age of the two children was estimated to around birth, and was no longer relevant for this thesis. The age distribution showed that two individuals were young (10-24 years), seven individuals were adults (18-44 years) and two individuals were middle-aged or older (35-79 years).

The purpose of this essay is to study the two cases ?The hijacking of a bus in Årdal? & ?The double murder in Ljungsbro? from media ethics aspects.  The aim for this study is to clear up if the the Swedish newspapers have reported according to the mediaethic rules and to see if there is any differences between the newspapers reporting. The following theories has been used to reach the objective: the journalism task, news values, the liberty of press and speach, media ethical rules and discursive discrimination. The study has used a critical discourse method formed by Teun a. van Dijk to analyse the material, mainly through macro- and microstructures.

Veck, stygn och fiberoptiskt ljusJag arbetar med att bygga upp egna och manipulera redan färdiga material. Att integrera material, kropp ochplagg intresserar mig. I examensarbetet har jag utformat en egen metod, för att med stygn forma textilamaterial så att de på bestämda sätt förhåller sig till kroppen. Metoden kom jag fram till under ett längreprojekt där jag undersökte plissering och smock.Mitt arbete är en skissprocess i förändring, formulerad i relation till tradition. Värdefullt för mig ärhantverket, kunskapen om de textila teknikerna, den svenska traditionen men också kopplingar till andraländer.
