Background: Patients with heart failure is a patient group growing in numbers, the most common treatment focuses on reliving symptoms and the only cure is heart transplantation. Objective: Aim of the study was to illuminate patients' experiences of living with heart failure at his home. Method: Qualitative design, with a manifest content analysis. The results are based on 12 scientific articles.  Results: Patients with heart failure find that the disease is limited to their daily lives through mental illness and physical symptoms.

In this investigation has an attempt to find out whether so called transplanting shock depends on the moving and transplanting of trees, to other conditions, or if it is due to the imbalance between the root to shoot ratio. Malt lymphoma is a malignant disease that can arise in a variety of extra nodal sites. Previous studies indicate that tumour arise from more mature B-cells.Our purpose was to examine the presence of clonality and somatic hypermutation of immunoglobulin (IgV?) of MALT lymphomas.Paraffin-embedded tumour samples from13 MALT lymphoma were subjected to rearrangement analysis, by using PCR, heteroduplex gels and sequence analysis.Successful amplification was seen in 10/13 cases and sequences of IgV? genes were obtained in 6/13, all of them were mutated. The percentage of mutation compared to germline sequences was 1,1% to 8,6% monoclonal rearrangemang. It was demonstrated that 5 of 7 clones were derived from the V?3 family, 2 from V?1 and 1 from the V? 4 family..

This paper aims to derive the Black-Scholes equation for readers without advanced knowledge in finance and mathematics. To succeed, this paper contains a theoretical chapter in which concepts such as options, interest rate, differential equations and stochastic variable are explained. This paper also presents the theory of stochastic processes such as the Wiener process and Ito process. In the chapter on the Black-Scholes model the Ito process is used to describe price of shares and with the help of Ito's lemma Black-Scholes equation can be derived. In the paper, assumptions are listed that apply to the Black-Scholes model and then uses the Black-Scholes equation to calculate the price of a European call option.

Stands where pre commercial thinning has been ignored or inadequate often tend to have high stem density and low average diameter when they reach heights of thinning. In such stands, it can often be expensive to do a conventional pulpwood harvest as a first thinning. This study investigates the development of the stands and the economic outcome of forest fuel extraction, or a combined harvest as alternatives to the ordinary pulpwood harvest. Simulations in Heureka StandWise were performed for two thin and dense stands, which were constructed by data from the Swedish National Forest Inventory. The simulations show that the extraction of forest fuel in first thinning at an early stage can provide higher net revenue compared to conventional pulpwood harvest at the same time or later.

Summary The leaf beetles, Lilioceris lilii and L. merdigera have existed in Asia, Europe and in North Africa for a long time, but have become much more abundant the last twenty-five years. Even North America has been affected during the last years. The purpose of this investigation of Lilioceris species in Sweden, is to give advice to gardeners, which type of control measures is the most effective in order to restrict their damage to lilies. Lilioceris species overwinter normally as pupae in the soil under the host or close by. Literature and contact with advisors have described the life cycle and spreading of Lilioceris. Under favourable conditions these leaf beetles have two generations/year in the south of Sweden. Both the adults and the larva eat the foliage, and by strong attacks even flowers can be eaten and only the stem is remaining. My own observations include different treatments of both lily foliage and of the leaf beetle.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att beskriva patientens upplevelser av att leva med dialysbehandling samt väntan på njurtransplantation. Litteratursökningar gjordes i databasen Medline. Studiens resultat baserades på 12 vetenskapliga artiklar som granskades, analyserades och sammanställdes av båda författarna. Resultatet visade att upplevelser av begränsningar i livet till följd av dialysbehandling var vanligt förekommande. Många patienter led av fatigue och brist på energi vilket resulterade i inaktivitet och svårigheter att orka med vardagliga sysslor.

Ett antal såväl medicinska som juridiska frågor måste vara klarlagda innan en organtransplantation kan genomföras. Att vänta på ett organ är en tid att förberedda sig på liv eller död. Uppsatsen har undersökt hur ett antal textbaserade utbildningsmaterial avsedda för utbildning inom företagsvärlden utformas i förhållande till olika sätt att förstå och tolka innehåll. De teorier som används som utgångspunkt i undersökningen har varit Howard Gardners inlärningsteori om multipla intelligenser, samt Stuart Halls kommunikationsteori Encoding/decoding. Undersökningen har omfattat tre utbildningsmaterial som används vid Södra Cell Mönsterås som tillverkar pappersmassa, där jag undersökt en teoribok avsedd för utbildning av truckförare, en internhandbok i grundläggande datakunskap samt ett textmaterial avsett för att öka personalens kunskap om hur produktionen av pappersmassa går till. Undersökningen har gjorts i form av fallstudier där varje utbildningsmaterial har blivit ett separat fall. Analysen av materialen har genomförts i form av en riktad innehållsanalys baserad på Gardners multipla intelligenser, i syfte att finna svar på vilka intelligenser som var representerade i utbildningsmaterialet. Utifrån det resultat som analysen gav förde jag ett hermeneutiskt teorietiskt resonemang med utgångspunkt i Halls teori Encodin/decoding i hur brukarna av materialet skulle kunna tolka innehållet, beroende på faktorer som förkunskaper i ämnet och kulturell/social bakgrund. Resultatet av analysen visa att endast ett fåtal intelligenser blev representerade i de olika materialen.
