With the expansion onto the international market almost a decade ago, Swedish energy corporation Vattenfall began it's breaking and burning of coal on German soil. Criticism aimed at Vattenfall peaked in the mid 2000s with the revelation of large quantities of carbon dioxide emissions and the re-location of villages and graveyards in German states Brandenburg and Saxony. The purpose of this thesis is to show where the responsibility for these activities lie. By analyzing the history of, and the political debate surrounding, Vattenfall, I will show that the prevailing policies of right- as well as left-wing parties in the 20th century were all, regarding this matter, market oriented. I will also show that these market promoting policies made possible a situation where the transparancy of, and state control over, Vattenfall were close to eliminated.

The aim of this thesis is to identify some of the obstacles to trade, that occurs on the common market, and to analyse the errors that still occurs in the national authorities application of the principle of mutual recognition. Is the principle of mutual recognition sufficient for the creation of a common market, or is there a need for additional measures to cope with the obstacles to trade that still exists on the common market? The problems related to the incorrect procedures of the national authorities and the fact that undertakings prefer to bring their products in to line with the rules of every single member state must be solved, if the principle of mutual recognition is to become trustworthy. On some areas, harmonisation ought to be chosen above the principle of mutual recognition, but in other cases an increased administrative collaboration, mandatory training for the national authorities or information campaigns intended mainly for undertakings could be the answer. The possibility to help undertakings to sue member states for damages should also be investigated.

This paper deals with archery in the Viking Age settlement of Birka and in particular the presence of Euro Asiatic, steppe nomadic archery equipment at the Birka Garrison and one Birka grave. The equipment contains for example closed quivers and a bow case. After the tsunami disaster in December 2004 many arguments were heared that one oft the major reasons behind the poor Swedish effort connected to the evacuation and health care of the Swedish citizens in Thailand right after the incident is the Swedish model with independent government authorities. By comparing the constitution, the political decision making tradition by the ministers and the handling of the catastrophe in the tree Scandinavian countries Denmark, Norway and Finland, plus analysing the behaviour of the Swedish foreign and prime minister from a rational choose inspired individual decision making theory the research shows that there is no proof that a constitutional change in Sweden into the traditional model with government authorities controlled by the ministers alone would led to a more effective crisis handling by the government due to crises concerning Swedish citizens out states. Although the research shows that the constitution and the tradition of decision making in the government provides the basic condition of the ministers individual rational decision making.

The aim of this essay was to gain a deeper understanding about how school employees interpret and practice school law regarding cyber-bullying that occurs between pupils on the internet. To examine this we used a qualitative method. We completed eight interviews with five teachers, one headmaster, one school welfare officer and one special educationist. These eight school employees were from four different high schools. In our interviews we found that the school employees thought it was difficult to define different concepts within the school law such as in association with the occupation and offensive behaviour which prohibits them from interpreting the school law in the same way.

Syftet är att öka förståelsen hur ljudets och bilders meningsskapande och symboliska funktion i marknadskommunikation bearbetas av konsumente. Teorier har hämtats från främst två områden, det semiotiska perspektivet: betydelselära och tolkning av ljud och bild. Företagsekonomiska perspektivet: Kommunikationsmodellen och perceptions processen. De slutsatser vi har dragit av vårt arbete är främst att konsumenter tolkar och skapar en individuell mening och symbolvärde när de utsätts för ljud och bild i marknadskommunikation. Ljudet och reklammusikens status verkar öka, bidragande faktorer är kunskapsökning och musiker som behöver nya försörjningsmöjligheter.

Vårt syfte med denna uppsats är att bidra till en ökad förståelse för hur lärande sker inom en projektgrupp och vilka sociala och organisatoriska konsekvenser lärandet får för arbetet. Vi har sett att olika sorters lärande uppstår i olika situationer och dessa leder till varierande former av kunskap. Kunskap värderas olika beroende på de antaganden som styr organisationen och högre värderad kunskap tenderar att uppmärksammas mer än annan kunskap. Relationer är en förutsättning för lärande och hur dessa uppstår och förändras beror på tre faktorer vi sett; trygghet, status och tid. Dessa tre faktorer påverkar i sin tur arbetetsuppgifter och arbetsfördelning i gruppen på olika sätt..

Att läsa svenska som andraspråk på gymnasiet är idag likställt med attläsa modersmålsvenska. Dock är det många andraspråkselever som intedeltar i svenska som andraspråksundervisningen på grund av att de haren negativ attityd till ämnet. Tidigare forskning på området visar attmodersmålssvenska har högre status och att föräldrar, kamrater ochlärares syn på vilket språk som är viktigast påverkar flerspråkiga elever.Att inte tillhöra skolans monokulturella norm anses som avvikande ochkan bidra till flerspråkiga elevers negativa inställning till svenska somandraspråk. I denna studie undersöks hur utländska elever födda iSveriges attityder till ämnet svenska som andraspråk påverkar derasämnesval på gymnasiet. Ett övergripande syfte är att nå en ökadförståelse för de processer som påverkar individen i hennes strävan attfölja sina attityder och vad som inträffar när hennes förväntningar intestämmer överens med hennes sociala verklighet.

This student report is about neutering male and female cats and compares early ageneutering to neutering at the traditional age of 6 months.The main focus in this report is early age neutering, which means that neutering isperformed when the kittens are between 6 and 16 weeks of age. This technique has beenused by shelters in the United States for a long time, to prevent the adopted cats fromreproduce and contribute to the problem of overpopulation.Two different surgical methods are also addressed; the ventral midline incision and thelateral flank approach. Syftet med mitt examensarbete är att undersöka ifall införandet av en skoluniform skulle få bort kläders betydelse i dagens skola. Till min hjälp har jag använt mig av fem frågeställningar som alla handlar om kläders betydelse inom skolan. Den metod jag använt är kvalitativ, både observation och intervju. Jag valde, slumpmässigt ut åtta elever i årskurs 9 för intervju. Resultatet av både observationen och intervjuerna vittnar om att kläder har en stark betydelse för vem man är.
